"A good stop on vacation"
10/20/14 Steven H Des Moines, Iowa
My wife & I stayed here while returning from a vacation in Florida. I was a bit apprehensive at first because there were a lot of construction workers staying here. But the front desk let me know that they did not tolerate any loud partying; and I should notify them if we were disturbed. All went well; the workers were very courteous and respected our privacy. The hotel is clean, the staff helpful, and we got a great night's sleep. I would certainly stay here again if I am in the area.

Have read the other reviews, was passing through & wanted to see what it was all about. Fast checkin, Ashley was very friendly & accommodating. The room was so clean, will be sure to leave a tip. In the morning for bfst, Kathy at the desk had so much energy running back & forth between the desk & cleaning the bfst area. She made our morning with her personal attention.
"Drury quality at a bargain price."

We are big fans of Drury Inn and Suites so when we were planning a long weekend in Paducah, we saw that they had not only the flagship brand but also the Pear Tree Inn brand. We decided to try it. The rooms were slightly smaller but were just as immaculately clean as the Drury Inns. The beds were just as comfortable and the internet connection worked just as well. The breakfast featured homemade waffles, cereals and pastries. The only things missing were the exercise room and the "Kick Back" snack feature every afternoon. Considering that Pear Tree was about half the price of Drury, this was the bargain of the age!
"Best motel chain anywhere"

We always stay at Drury if one is available. They are always friendly, clean and have everything we need but the beds are what we are really looking for. They are oh so comfortable. Many places are nice but the beds are like sleeping on the floor and I wake up with a back ache but not at Drury or their affiliates. Always the best. Hope they never change their beds for some other kind.
"Decent hotel - smells a little musty"

Staff was extremely polite and curteous. Breakfast included cereal, pastries, yogurt, fruit, waffles, coffee, and juice. The room seemed clean, but my only complaint is the musty smell. The air seemed to be damp and made our clothes smell. This also seemed like an older hotel that lacked the updates other reviewers may have mentioned. Decent hotel for the price.
"Truck Parking, Smoking Rooms, CLEAN"

All hotels should strive to be as clean as this Pear Tree Inn. Easy access, and truck parking. Breakfast is good, waffles, big pot of oatmeal, cold cereals, fruit. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. Use a coupon in the Hotel Coupon books and save even more on the low rate.
"Fantastic for a budget hotel!"

We got more than we expected for the price we paid. The front desk clerk was welcoming and helpful. We stayed with our dog ($10 fee) on our way home from Alabama. The room was very clean with no evidence of other pet stays. The room we stayed in has been updated since the pictures shown on their website. The decor was refreshing, and the tile work in the bathroom looked new. The outdoor pool was warm, but there were no towels. Pear Tree shares a pool with Thrifty and some of their clientele hanging around the pool was less than ideal, but security quickly took care of things when another guest complained of their language/behavior. My daughter enjoyed the popcorn at night. The breakfast in the morning was adequate...nothing special and only yogurt has a poor protein option. They did have a waffle machine and a bowl of oatmeal with toppings. There was plenty of seating. Again, the rates are great, and if the breakfast doesn't do it for you, you could take your savings and go to Denny's. It was our first time at a Pear Tree, but I would definitely stay again, with or without a dog. My husband and I didn't have issues with the free wifi, but my daughter could only get it to work on her I-pad on the bed by the TV.

We stopped in Paducah for the night on our way to Missouri. The desk clerk was very friendly and tried to get us the lowest rate possible even tho we didn't have a reservation. Checking was fast then walked to Texas Roadhouse for dinner! Would recommend to anyone stopping in this area. Plenty of food and shopping within walking distance.
"Quick & painless"

I was moved cross country and needed an affordable place to stay that was safe for me to park my Uhaul over night. Great staff, many restaurants near by, and the parking lot was lit up and kept my belongings safe. Overall great stay. Would recommend this to anyone would needs a comfortable place to stay. The bed appeared to be clean and so were the bathrooms.
"Great room for the price & they take dogs!"
I was traveling with 2 large dogs. Nice rooms for the price. Very clean , lots of grass in the area to walk the dogs. Super clean room & comfortable bed - what more do you need? They offer a continental breakfast & many other restaurants within walking distance. Paneta is right next door. I will definitely come back!
