Had issue with the room not being ready for us when we attempted to check in, but the front desk took care of this right away. The location of this hotel can't be beat for Disney, was able to walk to the park and get in early - which was a huge plus. In the future we will probably stay there again.

This is a good hotel for families. Lots of space in the room, extra TV near the sofa, spacious bathroom with tub, hot breakfast buffet with a waffle bar for 4 small waffles at a time. The room was clean with lots of towels. The free internet service worked well. However, I'd recommend that you show up for breakfast early. About a third of the tables […] had coughing people at it, and many of them didn't turn away when coughing when dishing up their eggs. No sneeze guard at the buffet. I gave 3-stars on service because at 1:00 a.m. on our second night, someone was hammering in one of the neighboring rooms. Finally at 2 am I called the desk to report it, and they said it must just be the hot water pipes, and that it couldn't be hammering because "the guy is here next to me right now." When I insisted it sounded like hammering, he admitted that someone else reported it, and he'd send someone around to check it out. I shouldn't have to argue with the front desk staff to convince him to check on a disturbance. Read more

Stayed for 3 days . Room was clean and great maid service . Breakfast was nothing fancy but the kids liked it . About 10 minutes from the park which was a tolerable walk from the park after a long day of Disney. Most definitely would stay there again .

Great location for convention center - 10 minute walk, or Disneyland - 15 minutes to the turnstiles. Good breakfast including scrabbled eggs, sausage, make your own pancake station. Stayed during Easter and they had colored hard boiled eggs which was a nice touch. Staff was friendly enough, but don't go to the concierge desk for information as they […] use it to try to sell you time shares! We got upgraded from a queen deluxe to king suite which was great. The beds were firm, and were not the most comfortable. The bathroom which included tub/shower, toilet and sink vanity were all in one room. There was only one light switch in the bathroom which also turned on the fan which was really loud. With the door closed, you could still hear the fan. The room was stuffy and we had to turn on the air conditioning. The AC fan also, was a bit loud and had to be turned off at night unless you like the white noise. We did not know that the windows opened until we had room service on the last day, otherwise an opened window would have sufficed being that it was spring time and the weather outside was still cool. Also, parking is tight. Unless you got there early enough to park on the ground level or underground, you had to park by the side of the walls. Many cars had to do this including ours. Unfortunately, my vehicle got a minor scrap on the driver side by a large white truck which was parked in front of me which obviously tried to back out instead of pulling forward. Read more

Yeah, it's not the Hilton. However, it served our purposes perfectly. The hotel itself was nice and clean---older, yes (elevators were a bit slow, appliances a bit outdated) but definitely perfect for our stay. We happened to get the ONE room right outside of the construction at the pool (on the first floor...126 I think?) but it was okay because they […] worked at decent hours (8 or 9am in the morning) and were done by the time we got back from Disneyland. They are almost done with that project though and the pool area looks great! The best part of this hotel is that it is so close to Disneyland...took about 10-15 minutes to walk to the front gates and the hotel had free parking. The location was great, Disneyland was only a 10 minute walk. But that was only really great things about the hotel, everything in the hotel was done very very cheap. The paintings are all screwed to the walls, things like that. The walls are very thin in this hotel, the people in the room above us woke us up at about 6 am every morning (I'm pretty […] sure they were doing wind sprints from one end of their room to the other), and we could clearly hear screaming from one of the rides at California Adventures. The breakfast food was all gross. All I wanted was some fruit, and all they had for fruit was some really small dark red apples, and I hate red apples:( They had lots of other hot breakfast items, but all cheap unhealthy food. The room itself seemed clean (we got a 2 bedroom with bunk beds), but overcrowded, it wasn't quite big enough for 2 rooms, and it was an awkward set-up without any real privacy since there's not a real door between the rooms, just frosted plastic sliding door. And then the people in the bunk bed room have to walk through your sleeping area (the king bed in the middle of the room) to get to the bathroom. I probably wouldn't stay there again, but then again my husband tells me I just have expensive taste... so if you don't care about the noise and the room, it's a pretty good deal and close to Disneyland. Everything was great except for the fact that the pool was closed for renovations. The hotel did make accommodation by sending us to the pool at the hotel next door. Breakfast is good and the hotel room was nice size. The free parking is a plus!

Desert Palms was fine for my daughter, grandaughters, and myself, however we were right next to the pool on the ground floor which was kind of noisey till they closed the pool down at night. They had a nice breakfast at 7 so we could get to Disneyland early.

The location is about as close as you can get to the Convention Center without paying double the amount for the Hilton or Marriott. It takes only 5 min to walk to Disney, besides, nearby there are lots of nice restaurants to eat. Rooms are good, the only thing I can not bear is the huge noise of the fan in the wash room, the fan linked together with the light in the wash room, and the noise is just like a flight when taking off.

10-15 minutes walk with young chidren to Disneyland front gate. 2 minutes to the convention centre. A short drive to Angel stadium, the Ducks home ice and the Amtrack station. Front desck a little disorganised but check-in and out was OK. Free parking on site. Hotel has no bell service. Breakfast is pretty basic - waffles, porridge, toast, fruit, muffins, […] doughnuts, fruit. Room had what we wanted but no kettle to boil water for tea/cofee (used the micro wave). Towels were paper thin/thread bare. Even with double glazing room was noisy from the busy road. Convenience store next door though quite a few beggars hanging around at night. We didn't use the pool but it was popular. Most major rental car outlets next door or a five minute walk. Plenty of restaurants and fast food places nearby. My biggest complaint is that the walls are paper thin! I heard every drawer open and shut. Which isn't a problem unless the people are up at 6 a every day for hours. Ear plugs didn't even help the stomping because it vibrated ur pillow. I wouldn't go back

Luckily I only booked 1 day at this hotel. The room's wall is so thin, too noisy... I could hear others voice from our room. The truck p/u trash was too noisy @ 6am in the morning. The guy at the reception gave us the right keys for the room but wrote down the wrong #, make me walked back & forth too much.

It was great for comfort, convenience of location , friendly and very clean. The decor was a little old. The breakfast though was of a very low standard , with a hostel type feel. We stayed here during a Disney vacation and had a good experience overall. The walk to the park was about 10 minutes (if you're walking pretty quickly). You can turn left out of the hotel to head toward the parks or right to enter the Downtown Disney side, and both distances are fairly equal.
