Disneyland Resort looms large in Anaheim, also known for its divine baseball. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim play ball at Angel Stadium. West, in Buena Park, Knott’s Berry Farm is the area’s other major amusement park. Along the coast, crowds bask in the sun along Newport Beach’s boardwalk and historic pier. John Wayne Airport, Orange County’s gateway, is a popular alternative to the LA airport.see all hotels in Anaheim
"Location location location!"
We stayed here for three nights to go to Disneyland as the first stop on our honeymoon. This hotel is even closer to the parks than some of Disney's own properties! It is a nice basic motel-style property. Rooms were very clean; people were very nice; free breakfast- basic, but good! Also, it's great that the hotel is flanked by a Denny's and IHOP. […] Would stay there again- can't beat the price either! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to visit disneyland"
It was a great location. right at the intersection to walk to disneyland. We could just walk back to the room at mid day after a long day at disneyland and go back to it. nice place. i would recomment it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"good night sleep"
staff was helpful, courteous... room was clean, very nice stayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The overall hotel was okay but somewhat dated. I had asked about "assisted parking" in advance of our arrival and was told that due to a limited qty of parking spaces, there was a limit of one vehicle/room unless you had a larger family parlor suite (which we did). What the man failed to tell me is that there is a charge of $8/day per vehicle and the […] self-park area is very small. What this means is that you have to either park underground in the valet lot or let one if the valets park your car (which means an additional cost for valet tips in addition to the daily parking fee). The continental breakfast was disappointing, even as continental breakfasts go, since the offerings included what was at least day old pastries (if not longer). The only reason I would really recommend this hotel is that the location is very convenient, especially after a long day. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff is nice. Rooms are a comfortable size, very clean and provides a fridge and microwave and sitting table. They provide a simple continental breakfast. If you can bring extra pillows. The pool is decent. It is reasonable and I would recommend for families. Its literally across from the park gate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not fancy but very close to the entrance"
Rooms are big, basic and pretty clean. Functional space for families. Cant beat the location right across the street from the park entrances. Its actually closer than the DL hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right By Disneyland"
By no means the best hotel or even a decent hotel, but it was way less than the ones next door and the location was great. I guess it is just a place to sleep and take a shower.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right acroos the street from Disneyland."
I was really impressed with the room, the service, and overall stay here. It was quiet and clean, and very close to Disneyland. I was also impressed with the little store the prices were quite reasonable for needed medical supplies. When we called for extra towels they came late in the evening and brought them right away. Will definitely stay here […] again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for Disneyland"
Location is perfect not to far from the entrance at all. One main problem was parking finding parking in such a small parking lot there was times we had to use vallet. And one of the vallet boys were very rude. We had a chance to check out the pool perfect for days not going to Disneyland. A slight problem with maids coming into the rooms without knocking. "Perfect for a family Disneyland trip"
Great accommodations at a fraction of the price of the Disney properties. We had five people total (two kids) and booked a parlor suite. It was basically two hotel rooms (4 queen beds and an adjoining door). Right across the street from Disneyland, the location couldn't be better. The rooms were clean and the staff was very courteous. We rolled the […] dice on this one when our usual hotel was booked. We were very pleased and will definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place for Disneyland trip"
Great place if all you need is a place to sleep and shower. Beds were fairly comfortable (this is coming from a pregnant lady), but anything is after a 12 hour day at Disneyland. Continental breakfast is fairly generic, but enough to get you going in the day (the coffee is kind of horrible though). The staff was all really nice and helpful. A good place […] to stay year round (pool is indoors). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent Room Close to Convention Center"
I noticed other reviewers had issues with noise, but I didn't notice any particular loudness. (Bear in mind, however, I live in a city where street noise and such are a constant, so if you're accustomed to absolute quiet, it might not be ideal.) The room was clean enough but featured a rather firm mattress. One other reviewer had complained about the […] elevator location, but for the first three floors, there is an elevator literally around the corner from the front desk. (Admittedly, for access to all five floors, the elevator is a bit farther away, but it is in the center of complex.) For any tall guests, be forewarned that the shower head is positioned a bit low: I'm only 5 foot 10, and the shower head was at eye level for me. Location is ideal: literally across the street from Disney and a half-mile from Anaheim Convention Center. Also, contrary to some other reviews I have seen, the wifi did work very well. I should add that this is a motel, where the room doors open to the outdoors and not into a hall, so if you are concerned about security in that regard, it is something to consider. "Perfect Disneyland hotel"
Room was comfortable and clean. Can't get any closer to Disneyland. Price was great. There is a charge for parking but it was still a better deal than the other neighboring hotels. Loved it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
this hotel couldn't be closer to disneyland! The rooms were large and clean but basic. The continental breakfast was very basic but free.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The worst mattress ever...after a long day walking at Disneyland you just want a good rest. Not on these mattresses. We also arrived an hour earlier than check in. They said they couldn't check us in til 3. Than at 3 there was a huge line from everyone that was waiting around. And the whole time all the rooms were ready...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The location is fantastic! The contenental breakfast was sparse, but the location and comfort of the room was great for what it was needed for (spent most of our day at Disney, followed by swimming in the pool). Would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

I really like this hotel it is really close to disneyland and i love the serviceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Wonderful location, just know that the hotel is older and well kept does not have the amenities of the big resorts. For us family of 4 the parlor suite was great it let our kids sleep in one room as we were able to get dressed and such in the other. Parking was not a problem it is extra on top of the room but this is standard practice in southern California. […] Great hotel would definitely recommend it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Just returned from our family vacation to Disneyland. My sister found us this hotel. Our stay was wonderful. We really enjoyed it. Management and staff were excellent. Very helpful, friendly, and polite!! Look forward to staying there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Great location, hotel room was very clean. I was very glad we didn't have a car though, the parking lot looked like a mess to have a car there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was very close to Disneyland. The room was clean but was showing signs of wear. Parking was a nightmare, they do not have enough spaces and a hotel employee was extremely rude to us upon arrival. Will probably not stay here again unless other hotels nearby are booked.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cost way too much!!!"
I was VERY disappointed in this hotel. Our family chose it due to the proximity to Disneyland. Unfortunately, it comes at a price. We made the reservations for 2 days and were quoted a price through the website that we were expecting to pay. When I checked in, it was almost 30% more due to taxes and their "resort fee" and parking fee. Our room was just […] basic, and when we went to check out they had double parked cars from their valet behind all of the parking spaces so we had to wait for someone from their valet to move cars so we could actually pull out. I'm glad we didn't have an emergency since we weren't even able to leave. We will NEVER stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Add thirty percent for taxes and fees"
Our earliest check-in time was 3pm. They had on-site lockers ($1) and we locked up our stuff and went to Disneyland. We're the types that just use a hotel room to store stuff and sleep, we don't hang out in them - just to put things in perspective. The rooms were ok, nothing special, tv ok, nothing special. The room did look clean. We were in a room […] near the stairs which was in hind-sight a huge mistake on a busy Disneyland weekend (running/yelling kids up and down the stairs). At about 5:30am on Saturday, the trash truck arrived and sounded like it was emptying 50 dumpsters right in front of our room. BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Creeeeakkk, BAM! BAM! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Creeeeakkk, BAM! BAM! -- for about 30 minutes. 5:30am? on Saturday? At a hotel? Really??? I got our bill and was surprised to see our bill was 30% higher than the posted rate on Hotels.com due to a resort fee, hotel district fee, parking fee then the taxes on all the fees. C'mon -- when is the hotel industry going to start showing total prices? It leaves a bad taste in my mouth knowing I have to prod EVERY TIME to get the real price information before booking a hotel. All in all, if it weren't for the room location, the early morning dumpster symphony and the fee shafting I would have given this 4-5 stars. Would I come again? Sure --it was good enough. Next time, i'd ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. If it weren't for such a good proximity to Disneyland next time I probably would only look at other hotels. "Dessert Inn and Suites-Close to everything"
I always like staying here when we go to Disneyland because you can just walk across the street, and there is no need for a shuttle. It is not fancy but it has all your basic needs, and an indoor pool with spa. Great and relaxing without freezing your buns off at night. They also offer continental breakfast. I, myself, don't like continental breakfast, […] so we go to the character breakfast at Disneyland. Staff is very friendly and courteous and that why I like staying there. "The Hotel in California directly across Disneyland"
Everything was fine at this hotel the best part was it was directly across the street from Disneyland. My biggest problem was they don't tell you that they will charge your room at check for valet parking even though they don't park your car. You would think you can park your car at the hotel you are staying at for "FREE".Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Desert Inn & Suites; Good but not great"
The hotel is located right across the street from Disneyland. In fact, it is right by the crosswalk into Disneyland. It is as close as you can get without actually staying at one of the official Disneyland Hotels. The price is good and the rooms are clean. Parking was provided with a daily rate charge. I would stay at the hotel again because of its […] convenience and price. The biggest problems I had with the room was the beds are very hard and the electrical outlets were almost unusable. The bed hurt everyone’s backs as they are likely made hard so they last longer. This is not exactly ideal when you are walking around the park all day and need a good place to rest at night so you can get back to it the next day. Softer mattresses would be great! The other problem was the outlets could not hold a plug. When we plugged anything into the different outlets throughout our room, the plug would fall out of the outlet. With electronics being such a huge part of our lives (cameras, phones, computers) it was very difficult to charge our devices that we needed for our next day at the park. Even the hotel alarm clock came unplugged constantly. The hotel staff was always very nice, the hotel was kept clean and the room service did a thorough job every time they cleaned our room. If the beds were softer and new electrical outlets were installed that could actually hold plugs, I would say the hotel is a great place to stay. Until then, it’s good for the money. If you can find softer beds and better maintenance provided for rooms at a different hotel that is close, stay there. Your back and your electrical devices will thank you! "Nice stay, PROBLEMS=billing, breakfast"
Okay, the beds were comfie enough. The rooms were nice and clean and the hotel is right across from Disneyland. If that is No foul odors or gross hairs to be found, dresser drawers were wiped clean. White sheets, nice and clean . My husband thought that there was too much noise from people traffic, to get good sleep. The downsides: -Internet was aweful, […] could hardly connect. Sprint service was not available either. We stayed in the courtyard area. -Billing: We had discrepancies between what we booked on Hotels.com and what they actually charged. We did eventually get it all straightened out but the time it took to do so, did take away from our family time and vacation and was upsetting/frustrating. Both the Hotels.com & Desert Inn Suites' customer service was professional in handling the situation. -Contintental breakfast: Not worth staying for. This is what they had, and it was depressing to go down to in the morning: `oranges 'danishes `bread (and a toaster) `butter `tea & hot water `coffee (seriously gross, not drinkable & I am not picky) `milk `plain cheerios & corn flakes `apple juice `orange juice Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Oh my bait and switch hotel..."
Let me tell you this was an interesting event. My group and I went to the 2012 NAMM show. In preparation for this, we rented a 4 bed suite and were going to share the cost accordingly. The bill, according to hotels.com came out to be reasonable to split amongst 4 people that's really reasonable. Now taking separate vehicles wasn't something we could […] really get around however once we got there, we were told it was going to be a parking fee per day, per vehicle. Amongst tax and "resort fees" (this is no resort, I've seen Motel 6's that rival it), our bill came out to almost double. So against popular belief, if you're looking for an inexpensive getaway, avoid this "resort" at all costs. Unless you're not on a budget then have at it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"VERY close but worth an extra block to not stay"
Seriously best location. It's just, these guys know they don't have to do anything to keep business up, so they don't. The room was out of a horror film, the bathroom gave me nightmares. We won't stay here again. Terrible parking, and just a crazy amount of extra fees. we stayed up the street a few months ago and the fees were not close to this place. "Desert Inn Anaheim"
Hotel room was spacious, but ameninies like bed were not very comfortable. It was a bit pricey, considering the comfort level. There is valet parking, and parking is not free, but it was never mentioned anywhere when booking the hotel.
