"close to sights/shopping"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We loved it - great location, staff and breakfast. Lovely, large second floor room.
"Good Value"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The Ardmore is a clean, modern hotel that has power showers and staff that are friendly. The food served is well prepared and affordable. For the money it can't be beat, but if you want nice pillows, soft towels& cozy bedding then you should spend the extra money to get them. Those of us who prefer value over the little "extras" would love this hotel. The 15 minute bus ride into downtown wasn't bad unless you JUST missed the bus and have to wait another twenty minutes to get on. It is a great location for a first night into Dublin or your last because it is only 15 minutes to the airport!
"Wonderful hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The westbury is a great hotel, very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to travel to Dublin soon!

"Close enough to everything, far enough for quiet"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
Very pleasant. We stayed directly in temple bar 3 nights before and wanted one night of quiet before we left. Receptionist was extremely helpful and even mailed a postcard for me so I wouldn't have to walk. Would stay again.
"out dated"
My room was very cold, the windows rattled, threadbare carpets old bedding (blankets) Service disorganised at breakfast eggs came out 5 mins after we had finished only red or white wine at dinner no rose staff didnt know what to do. entertaining watching what was going on. A little like faulty towers. The spa was great.
Ithought the Hotel was very good .I would have liked to have been nearer the city centre but it was ST Patricks week end and every where was booked up .The Regency Hotel meet all my needs for the Week end .
"The Regency Hotel, Dublin - Expensive Parking"
The hotel was ok, clean enough and rooms were fairly basic. The plug holes didn't work in the room and there was no remote for the television. On top of that, one of the channel buttons didnt work on the television so it was difficult to work. However, what I was most disappointed in was the fact that there was no concession for residents of the hotel […] in the car park which cost 10 euro per day. We would have appreciated if we had been informed of this when we booked the hotel. Read more

"The Regency Hotel- shouldn't have 3 stars!!!"
I would never recommend this hotel to anybody! The wallpaper in the corridoors is peeling off. There was a hole in the roof with a wire hanging out of it where I can only presume a previous fire alarm was fitted. The plastering done to fit the new sprinkler/ fire alarm was clearly visable and had not been painted. The upper walls were covered in cobwebs. […] There was a broken tile in the bathroom and not all light fittings had bulbs fitted. I had intended to complain about the state of the room but upon checkout was not even asked if I had enjoyed my stay. Very disappointed. Read more

"Good location for games in Croke Park"
I booked this hotel for 2 nights for the weekend of the All Ireland final. The location was perfect for getting to Croke Park - just a 15 minute walk. The room was old fashioned it was fine for what we expected. The breakfast was just ok, though the leisure centre was very nice and much better than expected.
"Regency Hotel DUblin"
Good quality room with helpful staff and a lovely leisure centre again with friendly staff.Good varied breakfast.
Service with a smile ,friendly and made me feel welcome.....room was nice and comfortable, its easy to City center and in a nice area, worth a stay....
"Good Hotel - shame about the leisure club."
The hotel itself was good. The room was nice and quite spacious. Reception staff were friendly. We did have a very unfortunate incident the fitness centre where one of the staff at that separate reception was rude and cheeky when we objected to giving her all kinds of personal information just to get into the gym and pool! Also towels we were given […] were a disgrace! They were dirty and stained. We were told that was all they had left ??? Up at the main reception they apologised but said the centre was a separate company (they also made us wear silly blue caps !). Read more
"NICE HOTEL BUT VIEWS RUBBISH"
EXCELLENT STAFF AND MANAGEMENT, ROOMS OK...YOU PAY FOR WHAT U GET!! A LITTLE OUT OF TOWN AND VERY EXPENSIVE WITH NO LOCAL AMENTITIES AROUND THE VACINITY OF HOTEL....TOTALLY RELIANT ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT!! WONT BE GOING BACK MORE HOTELS TO TRY...LOOKED LIKE FAWLTY TOWERS UPON ARRIVAL...
"Small Business Hotel"
This hotel is nicely located, quite close to the Airport, in walking distance to the DCU and not too far from the city center. The rooms are good and breakfast is ok.

"The Regency Dublin"
"Recently Hotell and Leisure club"
Bra konferensavdelning och mycket bra simhall med träningsmöjligheter
"Great hotel"
Nice and clean rooms. Breakfast was ok. Great leisureclub with pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steamroom. The busses to downtown stops right outside the hotel if you don't fancy walking the 5 km. Would go back at a later time.
"Nous y retournerons sans hésiter"
Les chambres sont un peu petites et la salle de bains très petite mais bon hôtel en général
"Bon hotel tres bien situe"
Read more
