"Good basic hotel"
This a comfortable, if not fancy, hotel. The town isn't big, so you can walk everywhere. The staff was very helpful in pointing us to what was open when Yellowstone was closed due to the shutdown.Genuine Expedia guest review
Even though Yellowstone was closed we found other things to do close to the hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Gray Wolf Experience"
Across the street from the Discover Center. If you're lucky, you can hear the wolves howling.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location and comfortable"
I really wouldnt want to stay a long time in this hotel with out restaurant, but for one night to see imax and Wolves acrooss the street it was certainly adequate. Breakfast provided is just adequate, nothing special. Town seems to have a few decent restaurants. Bear Tooth BBQ was fast, easy and very good 2 blocks down the street..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Not clean, there was toothpaste splatters in the sink. It was on the outskirts of the main street, which was good, but the hotel was run down. Wouldn't recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Convenient location. Large room with comfortable beds. Sink inside bathroom and one in bedroom made it really easy for us to get ready. Hair dryer was like a mini tornado. Breakfast is basic but ample. We used Front desk recommendations for dinner and had a great experience at Madison Crossing - within walking distance.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Gray Wolf Inn, great experience"
Hotel staff, helped us pretty quickly when the tv and phone didn't work on check in. It isn't a luxury hotel, but I didn't expect or book a luxury hotel. Very comfortable hotel, a block from the street to enter Yellowstone.Genuine Expedia guest review
There are surprisingly few national hotel chains in West Yellowstone, so we took a chance with Gray Wolf. I thought the hotel was pretty average, particularly for the nightly charge of just over $200. Carpets and HVAC were showing their age and the TV was rather small, decade old analog model. My complaint with the hotel was that the cleaning crew left […] our door slightly ajar (proped open by inside door security latch). Desk and manager did not seemed overly concerned about this security lapse but said they would speak with the maintenance supervisor. Upside: located just outside the west gate of Yellowstone. Downside: short season at Yellowstone brings high rates. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Solid hotel just outside park"
Large clean rooms. Nicer than facilities in park and is just outside.Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent accommodations and conveniently located.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"High Price for a Fancified Super 8"
Hotel was Mediocre. "Free Hot Breakfast" was Coffee, Fruit, Cereal, and Bagels. We went to Three Bears Resturant instead.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A nice Hotel"
Spent three nights here as we visited Yellowstone. West Yellowstone is very close to the west entrance and is a great place to stay during your visit. Did our laundry in the small laundry room, that worked out well. Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. No complaints.Genuine Expedia guest review
clean and good close to park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11Genuine Expedia guest review
Our room was great. We had booked two rooms and the other room for the other couple wasn't as great. The couch was on it's last legs and they couldn't/didn't even use it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Our visit to Yellowstone Park"
We spent a couple of day in Yellowstone Park, where we entered from the south and stayed overnight in West Yellowstone then toured the northern part of Yellowstone Park the next day.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent location at west edge of Yellowstone"
Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast area could be crowded but over all the stay was pleasant.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Yellowstone and they would let the dogs"
Our stay was very nice. They made it easy to travel with our two dogs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Gray Wolf Inn & Suites"
This hotel is very overpriced. The toilet plugged up and maintenance had to be called. Rooms inside Yellowstone were a fraction of the cost of this hotel. Staff was very nice however and accommodating.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good Location to Tour Yellowstone"
The room was a suite with a small kitchen. Very spacious with a King bed. However, the mattress needed to be replaced. One side was comfy but the other side would just roll the person to the midde. Cleaning seemed to be inconsistent during our stay as the room was not vacuumed some days.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stay was very comforable. Room was clean with the fully equipped kitchen. Very Nice choice for familes with KidsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The only problem i had with the stay was the breakfast was limited and no hot items. and not enough places to sit.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very rroomy, everything furnished"
Enjoyed all the space, traveling with teenagers. Wish we had time to make use of the fully furnished kitchen. Parking a bit limited. Convenient location. Very quiet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Rocks Throw from Yellowstone"
The location of this hotel, 100 yards from the west entrance to Yellowstone, is the selling point here. And just down the street from the main drag of West Yellowstone, MT. The hotel is plain, and the continental breakfast not worth the effort. But if you're looking for a place to sleep in a bed at the entrance of the park, this will do just fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
For the price the rooms need some TLC. The shower curtain was moldy and not exceptionally clean otherwise. The staff, however was very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Always a great experience."
The gentleman at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We asked him specifically about dining locations and he pointed out his suggestions on the city map. We took him up on those suggestions and we were not disappointed.Genuine Expedia guest review
"adequate lodging for the price"
We were shocked at how much the "chain hotels" were charging for the August week we were going to be in Yellowstone, so we were relatively pleased to find this place for under $200 a night, but anywhere else that would have been WAY too much for this hotel!! The room was fine but a little old -- the a/c was impossible to control and loud so we just […] ran it then turned it off for a while then ran it again. The housekeeping woke us up by coming to the door before 8:00 am both days (even after asking them not to). So if you stay remember to put up your "do not disturb" sign unless you WANT them there, banging on the door, very early. Also -- our stay included breakfast. Um. There was no where to sit and no food by the time we got there at 9:00. There was one guy running around unable to keep up and two guys behind the counter doing nothing. WAY too many people for the tiny room, and really slim pickin's even when full of food. Luckily, we only wanted some fruit. Anyway -- okay considering hotels around charging so much but nothing to write home about. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was comfortable and very close to the park. The price was very high, but that's probably because of the location. No other concerns. Thanks!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for families!"
This hotel is located right across the street from the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center and the IMAX theatre, and within easy walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. The front desk staff was great! Our suite had a full size kitchen and plenty of room for a family. The indoor pool and hot tub and the underground parking make it nice for […] summer or winter travel. The decor could use a little updating, but everything was sparkling clean. I highly recommend this hotel! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient to Yellowstone Park without staying in"
what a delight in Hotels outside of Yellowstone. So convenient to park with activities and good eating establishments.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel just outside west gate of Yellowstone"
Very nicely maintained. And staff were very friendlyGenuine Expedia guest review
Overpriced but good locationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"We reserved a King bed and got two doubles."
The hotel was just OK. There are many hotels and motels in the area. I would choose another rather than Gray Wolf.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Okay place to stay"
Breakfast food was not very good. Breakfast area was extremely crowded. Limited parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to the national park"
The dining area was to small for the size of the hotel. No control over food being removed by the stacked plate full. I saw a man and a woman remove every pastry from the display, stack the pastries on four plates and carry them away. It was a madhouse, no tables or seating. We had to go to a restaurant for breakfast. There was a lack of handicap parking […] and regular parking. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel close to downtown"
This was a nice hotel - close to everything. We really appreciate the refrigerator and the sink/mirror outside the bathroom. The only thing we didn't like was that the morning breakfast was extremely busy and crowded. There was a bus trip staying there at the same time. Couldn't even find a place to sit one morning.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice, modern hotel with large rooms."
They were sold out the night we were there. In spite of that, check-in had a small wait, but was efficient. The breakfast was basic, but ample and well managed for a sold out hotel. Room was spacious and clean. The hotel is modern, and walking distance from tourist information, McDonald's, and other West Yellowstone highlights. I will definitely stay […] here again, if I need to travel to West Yellowstone. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
It was OK -- and in a good location -- for the price. But I'd probably pay more for somewhere else. Air conditioner rattled off & on all night. Vacuums running at 8am were nerve wracking. Breakfast buffet: OK but nothing to write home about -- we skipped it & went for Running Bear Pancakes!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Would stay here again."
We enjoyed our stay here...No issues to report....but no amazing stories to tell either...Genuine Expedia guest review
"The nicest hotel!"
Right on the western edge of Yellowstone Park, this hotel is a little but of luxury in the middle of the frontier. Clean, quiet, friendly. We only spent one night there, but if we had spent more time in the area, we would have stayed at the Grey Wolf.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
great place and very close to YellowstoneGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stayed for seven days"
We like the atmosphere and the hotel is pretty clean. The daily breakfast was ok. The staffs were courteous. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for the price"
The hotel staff, facilities, and cleanliness were excellent. The continental breakfast was not extravagant, but it was nice and offered good variety. The pool and hot tub area are well maintained and pleasant--our kids really enjoyed it. The only complaint was with the noise level in the next room, but I feel it was an issue of very loud guests versus […] poor contruction. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would gladly reccommend to a friend. The proximity to the Bear and Wolf Center and the entrance to Yellowstone Park were added bonuses. "Great Winter Hotel"
We stayed here during the winter months of West Yellowstone. Loved the included underground parking that they had! My car was able to thaw out before heading out again on our trip. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is in a great location, especially in the summer. It is within walking distance of all the downtown shops. The breakfast was like any […] other hotel breakfast, but no complaints. The only thing was our bathtub had soap and shampoo all around the ring of the drain. It looked like no one had cleaned that for a long time. Also, the shower curtain had some spots that looked like mold on them. I think it was time for a new one. Other than that everything else was great! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Center of West Yellowstone and right on the way to"
It was very nice, people were friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay and great staff."
The Hotel was very nice. For winter type conditions you couldn't ask for better accommodations. They have an underground heated garage for parking, which is nice when you are dealing with near zero temperatures. The staff was very nice to all of the guests that I saw them interact with. I would stay there again without hesitation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stopover before Yellowstone"
Nothing fancy but a very convenient & comfy stay before entering Yellowstone winter visit+ you can park here while you are in the park.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Yellowstone Snow Coach Terminus"
Graet location to enter Yellowstone in the winter. Also terminus for the snow coach into and out of Yellowstone. The staff was exceptional in provining three day underground parking while we were in the park. Would recommend and go back any season.BIG Thank YOU..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
