"Rocks Throw from Yellowstone"
The location of this hotel, 100 yards from the west entrance to Yellowstone, is the selling point here. And just down the street from the main drag of West Yellowstone, MT. The hotel is plain, and the continental breakfast not worth the effort. But if you're looking for a place to sleep in a bed at the entrance of the park, this will do just fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
For the price the rooms need some TLC. The shower curtain was moldy and not exceptionally clean otherwise. The staff, however was very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Always a great experience."
The gentleman at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We asked him specifically about dining locations and he pointed out his suggestions on the city map. We took him up on those suggestions and we were not disappointed.Genuine Expedia guest review
"adequate lodging for the price"
We were shocked at how much the "chain hotels" were charging for the August week we were going to be in Yellowstone, so we were relatively pleased to find this place for under $200 a night, but anywhere else that would have been WAY too much for this hotel!! The room was fine but a little old -- the a/c was impossible to control and loud so we just […] ran it then turned it off for a while then ran it again. The housekeeping woke us up by coming to the door before 8:00 am both days (even after asking them not to). So if you stay remember to put up your "do not disturb" sign unless you WANT them there, banging on the door, very early. Also -- our stay included breakfast. Um. There was no where to sit and no food by the time we got there at 9:00. There was one guy running around unable to keep up and two guys behind the counter doing nothing. WAY too many people for the tiny room, and really slim pickin's even when full of food. Luckily, we only wanted some fruit. Anyway -- okay considering hotels around charging so much but nothing to write home about. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was comfortable and very close to the park. The price was very high, but that's probably because of the location. No other concerns. Thanks!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for families!"
This hotel is located right across the street from the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center and the IMAX theatre, and within easy walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. The front desk staff was great! Our suite had a full size kitchen and plenty of room for a family. The indoor pool and hot tub and the underground parking make it nice for […] summer or winter travel. The decor could use a little updating, but everything was sparkling clean. I highly recommend this hotel! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient to Yellowstone Park without staying in"
what a delight in Hotels outside of Yellowstone. So convenient to park with activities and good eating establishments.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel just outside west gate of Yellowstone"
Very nicely maintained. And staff were very friendlyGenuine Expedia guest review
Overpriced but good locationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"We reserved a King bed and got two doubles."
The hotel was just OK. There are many hotels and motels in the area. I would choose another rather than Gray Wolf.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Okay place to stay"
Breakfast food was not very good. Breakfast area was extremely crowded. Limited parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to the national park"
The dining area was to small for the size of the hotel. No control over food being removed by the stacked plate full. I saw a man and a woman remove every pastry from the display, stack the pastries on four plates and carry them away. It was a madhouse, no tables or seating. We had to go to a restaurant for breakfast. There was a lack of handicap parking […] and regular parking. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel close to downtown"
This was a nice hotel - close to everything. We really appreciate the refrigerator and the sink/mirror outside the bathroom. The only thing we didn't like was that the morning breakfast was extremely busy and crowded. There was a bus trip staying there at the same time. Couldn't even find a place to sit one morning.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice, modern hotel with large rooms."
They were sold out the night we were there. In spite of that, check-in had a small wait, but was efficient. The breakfast was basic, but ample and well managed for a sold out hotel. Room was spacious and clean. The hotel is modern, and walking distance from tourist information, McDonald's, and other West Yellowstone highlights. I will definitely stay […] here again, if I need to travel to West Yellowstone. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
It was OK -- and in a good location -- for the price. But I'd probably pay more for somewhere else. Air conditioner rattled off & on all night. Vacuums running at 8am were nerve wracking. Breakfast buffet: OK but nothing to write home about -- we skipped it & went for Running Bear Pancakes!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Would stay here again."
We enjoyed our stay here...No issues to report....but no amazing stories to tell either...Genuine Expedia guest review
"The nicest hotel!"
Right on the western edge of Yellowstone Park, this hotel is a little but of luxury in the middle of the frontier. Clean, quiet, friendly. We only spent one night there, but if we had spent more time in the area, we would have stayed at the Grey Wolf.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
great place and very close to YellowstoneGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stayed for seven days"
We like the atmosphere and the hotel is pretty clean. The daily breakfast was ok. The staffs were courteous. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for the price"
The hotel staff, facilities, and cleanliness were excellent. The continental breakfast was not extravagant, but it was nice and offered good variety. The pool and hot tub area are well maintained and pleasant--our kids really enjoyed it. The only complaint was with the noise level in the next room, but I feel it was an issue of very loud guests versus […] poor contruction. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would gladly reccommend to a friend. The proximity to the Bear and Wolf Center and the entrance to Yellowstone Park were added bonuses. "Great Winter Hotel"
We stayed here during the winter months of West Yellowstone. Loved the included underground parking that they had! My car was able to thaw out before heading out again on our trip. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is in a great location, especially in the summer. It is within walking distance of all the downtown shops. The breakfast was like any […] other hotel breakfast, but no complaints. The only thing was our bathtub had soap and shampoo all around the ring of the drain. It looked like no one had cleaned that for a long time. Also, the shower curtain had some spots that looked like mold on them. I think it was time for a new one. Other than that everything else was great! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Center of West Yellowstone and right on the way to"
It was very nice, people were friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay and great staff."
The Hotel was very nice. For winter type conditions you couldn't ask for better accommodations. They have an underground heated garage for parking, which is nice when you are dealing with near zero temperatures. The staff was very nice to all of the guests that I saw them interact with. I would stay there again without hesitation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stopover before Yellowstone"
Nothing fancy but a very convenient & comfy stay before entering Yellowstone winter visit+ you can park here while you are in the park.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Yellowstone Snow Coach Terminus"
Graet location to enter Yellowstone in the winter. Also terminus for the snow coach into and out of Yellowstone. The staff was exceptional in provining three day underground parking while we were in the park. Would recommend and go back any season.BIG Thank YOU..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Motel was very nice with even an underground garage. The bed mattresses were worn out and sagged badly. They need replacement otherwise it was a great place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for everyone."
I didn't expect too much for West Yellowstone, but this hotel was a nice suprise. Great guest service, starting at the front desk at check-in. The room was spotless throughout, really sparkling clean restroom and shower. All the common areas, lobby, and indoor pool were kept up real well and you could see that the staff was working real hard to keep […] it that way despite it being the slow winter season and the hotel being mostly empty. Queen bed was comfy, the sheets were clean and soft. I was also a big fan of the ecological conservation that the hotel promotes so that was great as well. Also, the included continental breakfast was pretty good as well, with fresh fruit and healthy/light options. Nice stay! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great for Yellowstone snowcoach tour"
Was exactly what we needed for our one night stay before our Yellowstone wintercoach tour. Underground parking was much appreciated in sub-zero weather. Was clean and comfortable. We used the pool and hot tub - were just fine. The only problem was with the heat. Cycled on for about 30 seconds and then off. Room temp. was comfortable, but noise was a […] little disturbing when trying to sleep. Also, there was no restaurant and nowhere nearby to eat. We did order in some excellent pizza so it worked out fine. Also the snowcoach came right to the door to get us. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Works fine for winter sports"

"Very happy with our stay, will stay there again."
Clean, new, bright, and they had a heated, underground parking area, under the hotel, it was fantastic!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good any time, brilliant in the winter"
They were refurbishing some of the rooms while we were there, so I can guarantee they have continuing maintenance, While we were there the outside temperature varied from +14F to -4F, despite this the room was comfortably warm. Best of all they have underground parking, so no matter what the outside temperature your vehicle can bask at room temperature. […] When the temperature outside is low enough to kill, or freeze you on to bare metal, it is a real luxury to be able to get in to a warm and ice free vehicle. There were superduty long bed trucks parked inside when we were there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Winter stay"
Very nice hotel! Got there late, was in our room very quickly. Had a king suite that was nice. My only complaint was the room was very cold when we entered it, but once the heat was turned on it warmed up fast. Breakfast was okay, nothing fancy, though the pancake maker was a first, at least for me. "conveince to all shopping and entrance to park"
People were very nice and for the most part the room was clean but I did find some hair pins under the room's phone when we first arrived, which means that furniture was dusted around items, items were not lifted up.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"great hotel for a family"
Everything was fine exept the fact that the staff didn't clean the room for two days in a row.Genuine Expedia guest review
I loved this hotel. It is in a great location in the cutest little tourist town right outside the enterance of Yellowstone park. While walking back to the hotel one evening, we were pleased to hear the wolves howling from the animal sanctuary across the street. I would recomend this place again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice motel, easy access in and out.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The TV did not receive the channels and the desk clerk was not interested at all of getting the problem fixed. The AC did not work either.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The desk was too small and too few accessible outlets. Internet access was almost non existent. For the price, the breakfast was sub-standard The nearest functioning ice machine was at the far end of the building and on another floor.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very nice and clean rooms. Very little interaction with staff due to the fact we didn't have any issues with our room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great overnight stay in an interesting area"
Hotel was convenient, with a still new appearance. It was a big plus to have a kitchen, which was one of the main reason we picked this hotel. You could tell that it was end of the season and some things were looking a little worn. My only complaint was the bathroom was not completely clean. However I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good price for West Yellowstone"
The only complaint I have was that the shower head was horrible, there was no water pressure and the water temperature didn't get hot enough.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"too much dinero"
way too expensive, looked just like the rooms at the Super 8Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice for the price, but missing a few things"
The hotel was very reasonable for the price. There were a few issues...like there was only one ice machine on our floor and it was wayyyy at the other end of the building. There was supposed to be one at each end of the hall along with the vending machines. There was also no bedskirt on our bed, so it made the room look a little bit cheap and and had […] to look at the boxspring ( a little unattractive ) The complimentary hot breakfast left a little to be desired, so we wound up going out to a restaurant instead of eating breakfast at the hotel. Overall, though, it was a decent hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I stay in this hotel with my girl friends for one night in the early September. The room is nice and clean. Stuffs are friendly and helpful. Location is great: close to restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores. My only complain is the heater. The stuff told us there was no heater because the temperature during daytime was around 70 during day time. […] However, the temperature dropped significantly after sunset. It's just too cold for us, who came from the tropical island. Although the front desk lady gave us two blankets. It's still not enough for us. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
