I love the custer service.. I am from los angeles California and to Many angelenos custemer service is important., the location was very close to all museum., but Florence is very small so I guess it does not matter where you stay., I am glad I did not stay near Santa Novella church . That area was rouft!

Superb Location! very friendly staff and the rooms are well furnished. The bathroom can be a little bigger but is on par with European bathroom sizes. This is only about 0.8 miles from Firenze SMN and easily walkable. There are convenience stores and plenty of restaurants nearby.

This might have been my favorite hotel we stayed at during our 12 day vacation in Italy. It was perfectly located and the staff was very helpful. The rooms are relatively small, which is to be expected in Europe. I would highly recommend this hotel for the location, price and comfort of stay.

Great hotel. It's smack in the middle of everything. The location couldn't be more perfect. Everything is within a 3 -5 minute walk to the farthest point. It's less than a minute walk to the Duomo and all the main piazza's. The rooms are renovated, clean, have a warm feeling, and the staff was great. I found that they would get me to the area but not to a specific corner or intersection. I would have to wander for a few hundred yards. The hotel is in a prime spot for seeing the sights, I would request a room at the back of the hotel, the noise from the street below is loud. The windows need to be kept open in March, so the sound is louder. Overall, though a very nice hotel with a good breakfast.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The people that work there are very nice, rooms comfortable and clean, breakfast yummy. The location is wonderful, between Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo. The only thing that I minded is the fact that the street it's on can be a bit loud sometimes. Our 2 night stay was great after we finally found the hotel. No where on the website does it say you can't drive directly to the hotel. We had a car and received info about the parking charges but on the site or when I called no one said a private vehicle couldn't drive to the hotel. After driving around in circles trying to figure out how to get to […] the hotel through the NO ENTRY obstacles on every surrounding street, we called the hotel and they told us to park the car and call back to tell them where we were so they could send someone to come and get us. Of course, you can't park anywhere so the police made us move so we drove around in circles until the garage attendant figured out who we were. He didn't speak any English so we were at his mercy that he understood what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Duomo in the heart of Florence and was what you'd expect for an old European hotel. No complaints. Breakfast was included and was varied and good for all. The hotel well exceeded my expectations. It was 2 minute walk from the Duomo and on the main street in Florence (very safe!!!). The room was spacious for the two of us and the bathroom was CLEAN!! The only complaint I had was the bed springs....quite old I guess. Still, I would definitely return to this hotel on my next visit!

we were right in the middle of all the action in Florence. You can walk to all the sights within a few minutes and the Duomo is only a block away. We were traveling without a computer, but the hotel has a small business center with a computer and internet which you can use for a small fee. Very convenient. The inclusive buffet breakfast was delicious - scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, all kinds of rolls and pastries, assorted cheeses, fruit, cereal, and your choice of coffee, tea, cappacino, or hot chocolate. The location of the Calzaiuoli was awesome. It was on Via dei Calzaiuoli between the Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery. All other major sites were only a short walk away. This is the 3rd time I've stayed here in the past 20 years. The location is the best. The rooms have all been redone. We had a great room with a window facing the main walking street. We asked the front desk two separate times to make sure that we would not be charged when calling a 800 number from the phone in the room. They both advised us that we would be fine to call and would not be charged. When we went to check out they charged […] us over 5 euro per call. No one could help us and they told us they would re-emburse the charges later but then when we called to do it, they advised they could not help us with it.
