The hotel looked very nice and was in a good location. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not cleaned completely. An old towel was left on the shower curtain rod and the hair dryer was broken. I will probably stay somewhere else the next time I travel to Lafayette.

Not bad, seemed a little old. Had room across from elevator but was only awakened once by a screaming child. Plug by sink did not work. Only one desk clerk, so I waited about ten mins to buy snacks while he handled a reservation problem, then he comped them for my patience. Very nice to do that. The rooms are really nice, and most of the Hotel has been re-painted and in very good shape. The location is excellent, and you don't have to worry about your vehicle or a place to park. Had a nice, big TV that never got used 'cause the bed was wonderful. Patient customer service and housekeeping that made sure we were enjoying a well-made bed in a comfortable environment. Hotel is under renovation. Dehumidifyer in indoor pool was broken, Ac in rooms did not work so well; Charge $9.95 for breakfast and milk was expired, waffle maker was broken, toaster was broken.

staff was friendly and helpful. hotel seemed clean. but the towels did not smell fresh. and the whirlpool tub in the pool room smelled like a wet dog had been in it. STINKY!!!!! I felt like the smell would never get out of my hair and my swimsuit! bad smells jut make things seem dirty even if they look perfectly clean.
