The hotel room was clean and neat, There was enough info everywhere to help figure out how things worked. The beds were extremely comfortable unlike many generic hotel beds. The breakfast was not as big as i expected but had a decent variety anyways, not hot...

Hotel was easy to find. There was an ultimate Frisbee tournament going on in town so there were several teams staying at hotel but it was still quiet and breakfast ladies were very nice and helpful.

Hard to justify the rating this hotel has. I think it must be going downhill since some of those were made. The towels were stained and the bathroom itself had a huge hole in the wall that someone had tried (but failed) to patch, along with a big crack in the door. My stay was very short due to my time span of traveling. The only problem was the people next door had dogs that continually barked. The room was comfortable and cozy, the staff was very helpful and I enjoyed my stay.

The staff wasvery helpful courteous and helpfull. The hotel was central to our needs (shopping, restaurants). The hotel was well maintained, looked newly refurbished and very clean. 24 hour hot beverages and this area in particular was always well stocked and clean.

I felt like family, the staff are very friendly, accommodating, and all around NICE people. The daily fresh breakfast was very comforting, after being up with a puppy off and on all night. The puppy was made to feel welcome as well, I would definitely return with the next opportunity. My hat is off to everyone!

I stay here 2-3 times each year. My room is always clean and in good repair. The shower head/water pressure is always good, a prerequisite for a good stay! Nice safe area, close to everything I need.

My stay at this Comfort Inn in Martinsville was excellent all around. The hotel's appearance, inside and out, was bright, clean and well maintained. The front desk employee, Joseph, was friendly, pleasant and very communicative, explaining about the room, pool and breakfast. My room was very clean& tastefully decorated. The sheets were crisp and clean, […] the bed very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels, very creatively folded and arranged for a nice touch. All supplies were stocked and the hair dryer was sufficient (I have waist length hair). There were many restaurants to choose from in the area, as the hotel sits on a main road. The bathroom was fairly clean, but "fair". Above the shower and around the caulking, there was black and orange-colored mold. The most problematic thing happened in the early morning hours. I awakened to a group of teenagers partying outside my window in the parking lot. They became rather loud, drinking, etc. The hotel wasn't very full that night, […] and being a female traveling alone, I began to feel uncomfortable. I have stayed at many Comfort hotels throughout the US, yet have not experienced the level of DISCOMFORT I had from this location. The staff were very friendly and courtious. When I got to my room, I wasn't impressed with the attempt at remodeling. When I attempted to go to sleep, I was happy that the room had 2 beds. The bed I initially tried to sleep […] in, felt as if it had a hole about the size of a basketball where my back was positioned. I switched beds and found almost the same situation. As it was close to midnight, and I had been working for 14 hours, I just closed my eyes and hoped for the best. After a night of tossing and turning, never being able to find a comfortable position, I checked out. The selection of hotels in the area is limited, but I would highly recommend finding a different hotel. Read more
