We stayed in one of the condo rooms and it was a no frills place to sleep kind of like a guest room at a house. It was very clean, beautiful scenery and lost of wild life. The chair bed was uncomfortable but the regular bed was great.

Location is great. Good deal for the money spent.

This was just an ok place to stay. The hotel website is misleading as they really don't show the hotel. They show mostly the condos. The hotel are little 2 story motel type buildings. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated but they need to invest in new carpet and the bathrooms really needed work. Example: the ceilings had water damage and the tile was old and looked midewy. The scenery and drive to get back to the hotel is great. The only problem we had was they decided to call us with a 1 minute warning the water was going to be shut off when we hadn't yet showered. Luckily my husband talked them to turning it back on for 15 minutes since there were only 3 rooms rented in that building. We felt that they should have told us about it when we checked in or put us in a different building as they were definately not full.

Our experience was good. We did request a king bed, but got a double queen. We also arrived and thought we would order room service, but it was not available and the restaurant was closing. We put in a quick order from the lobby and picked it up ourselves from the restaurant. We ended up eating out of styrofoam to go boxes, not very romantic!

Beautiful Location, Remote-Retreat like setting, Porch with a view, Lenient check out time, very accomidating staff. Really enjoyed my stay..

surroundings were beautiful wish the room would have had a small refrigerator and microwave for some meals as it is remote and that is great but noway to store leftover barbeque. the housekeping was outstanding.lots of wildlife to see fireflies deer squirrel. pool and workout area very nice clean

Our stay was wonderful. The property is beautiful and quiet. We needed extra bedding and it was delivered with in 10 minutes. We will be returning!

The hotel is very relaxed; very much like a lodge atmosphere. The room was very clean and when I first entered it smelled like cigarette smoke. The hotel is non smoking but I think previously, it had accomodations for smokers and this room had remnants of the smoke smell. I opened the patio door for a while and the smell disapated fairly quickly. The restaurant was great: service and food excellent! The golf course is well maintained and everyone was very courteous and helpful. We would return and will recommend to others.

We only stayed for one night, but the room was very nice (we loved our own little private balcony), comfy, cozy and clean. We were treated very nicely. The views were quite nice too. The golf course looks good but we didn't get to try it (green fee was in the $65-$85 range and course is private for members or hotel guests). We did not get to try the pool or the room service, but for what we were told the room service seems to be a bit limited (they basically offer you to pick-up the food from the club house -restaurant- and send it to your room --meaning if the club house is closed, then probably there is no service). Overall a pretty good value for the money, we were very satisfied.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and something I read stated that the rooms had been updated and had I believe 30-inch TVs but ours was only about a 19-inch TV but other than that the hotel was good. The drive to it was very pretty and my kids were thrilled to see deer, jack rabbits, etc.

better pricing

Nice place, would like to see a reduced golf rate for Hotel guest. Also would like to see a microwave and refrigerator provided in the room. Also the "Recovery" charge was a bit much.

I stayed for 3 nights with my son. The second night, the bottom sheet on the bed was in such poor condition that it would not stay on the bed and came off every time I moved. We had no housekeeping the second day of our stay, but that night they did bring me a new sheet so I could make my own bed. I also had a message from the front desk that I would have to switch rooms. I called the front desk, and the lady I talked to didn't know what was going on. So, after having told my son I would take him to the pool, we had to wait 40 minutes for her to call us back and tell us that we weren't moving. When we did go to the pool, the pool lights never came on, despite two different people asking. The next morning an extremely abrasive lady pounded on our door at 10:00 and demanded to know when we were leaving. I told her we would be gone by noon, which is the checkout time. She told me that we had to be out by noon because they had a group checking in and needed to clean the room. She never said good morning, or anything else, just get out. When I did check out, no one even bothered to ask me how my stay had been. Probably just as well. Oh, and they do not have room service, although they have a room service menu in the room.

Air conditioning in our room did not work. We moved ourselves to another room. Tennis courts are in disrepair. There is one swimming pool that was packed. Food is expensive and not very good.
