Excellent value. Clean rooms and friendly staff. I will use again. Breakfast could be better.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Mostly good with a few glitches."
Even though the quality was fine for an overnight stay on our way to Toronto, there were two outstanding flaws. The location was extremely difficult to find. There were no identifying signs (ie Comfort Inn) anywhere on the motel. We arrived at night, in a snowstorm and ended up at the nearby YMCA which was clearly identified. We had to guess that the […] next unlabeled building could perhaps be the Comfort Inn. Second, this is the first time in all of our travels that we had to leave a $50.00 visa print out. to make sure our check-out room was satisfactory. It left a very bad impression of being unwelcome. One last point,,,,,,our CAA and senior status usually allows us a discount. We felt 'dismissed ' upon inquiry and did not receive any. A positive note: the breakfast was plentiful, tasty and well presented. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good place to stay for a business overnight trip"
Hotel was clean though could use some updating, but for an overnight business stay was fine. "Continental Breakfast" was rather spartan, but McD's and Tims are less than a minute away.

Genuine Expedia guest review
"Cheap and simple"
The Comfort Inn was actually not bad at all. Considering the price and the location right next to the highway, we were really happy staying here. If you are just passing by and want a place to stay the night, I would recommend Comfort Inn. Rooms are clean and has the amenities you need. The hotel has no bar, but there is complimentary breakfast in the […] morning (which is so so), and it is right next to a Tim Hortons, a gaz station etc.

"The Best-of-theBest in Quinte West"
08/12/14 39Mark_M2014 Toronto, Canada
The Comfort Inn in Quinte West has the best-of-the-best: location, price and staff. The hotel is easy to locate – directly off the 401 at Glen Miller Road – and is adjacent to both a 24 hour Tim Horton’s and 24 hour McDonalds. It is also beside a family friendly (and modern) YMCA. The hotel is approx. 30 minutes from 3 of the best beaches in Canada: Presqu’ ile in Brighton, Sandbanks in Picton and North Beach south of Consecon, and a mere 45 minutes from some of the world’s best wineries (visiting a winery, or three, is a MUST for every traveller to Quinte West). And I won’t tell you that the hotel is a mere 2 minute drive (or 10 min walk) to a delicious chocolate store (don’t ask, I won’t tell – it’s my secret). The room rate is extremely reasonable. The hotel offers: clean rooms, ample parking, free daily newspapers, a complimentary light breakfast (toast, cereal, muffins, juice, coffee, etc.) – it’s a steal-of-a-deal. In addition, all the front-desk staff – Leona, M.J., Yvonne, Jennifer, & Lisa – are fabulous. They’re friendly, out-going, know the area, care that you have the best stay (including being ready with change for the vending machines) and will provide delivery numbers for the best pizzas in town in a heartbeat. All staff at this location is excellent. The Comfort Inn Quinte West has it all. It gets my highest recommendation.
"Very nice - good breakfast"
07/25/14 Rob W Ellsworth, Maine
The hotel is clean and comfortable. No complaints. The breakfast was very nice with what seemed to be a dedicated hostess unlike any other Comfort Inn I've stayed at. She was very friendly without imposing herself on guests who might not be morning people. She took great care of us and was a pleasure to take with when she had a moment. The rest of the hotel staff is professional but her friendliness really made this hotel stand out to us.
"Ok for a 1 night stay "

Stayed one night for a wedding. Beds aren't that comfortable. Continental breakfast is less than I expected. But it is what it is. Can't expect much with a hotel like this at this price and only staying for 1 night.
"We would stay here again."
07/04/14 Bonnie R Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
This is nothing special, but O.K. For a night or two when traveling. Tricky to find off of the 401. We have actually stayed here many times but one trip of four nights with my 92 year old mother, I got very sick and we received no, above and beyond help, none. I was to ill to help my Mom we had no food, except breakfast. I will say they did contact me with a nice reply after the fact, I would trust that if this ever happened again, there would be some help coming our way. No helping hand with seniors needs. We would stay again as everything is ok otherwise.

Front staff (Leona...I think was her name) was very friendly! Room was clean my only concern was the pillows. They were yellowed and dirty. They should be washed or replaced.Great location for what we wanted...McDonalds and Tims right there.Overall not bad just that one issue! Would stay here again(but will bring my own pillow!)
"Great place to stay"
05/28/14 Joy R Kingston, Canada
My family and I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn, while attending a family reunion. One of my family members had recommended it to us. I was very pleased with our choice to stay, the staff were friendly, and accommodating, always ready to draw us a map to our destination. The room was very clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was a pleasant surprise, we were able to feed to kids and get on with our day, without having to leave the hotel. I would not think twice about staying here again, and would recommend it to everyone.
"Small, clean room but noisy"
05/03/14 Si M Mississauga, Canada
My husband and I stayed there for one night. The room was clean, it has been renovated and everything is seems clean. Everything goes smoothly, until we decided to go to sleep, after 1 am people started talking so loud in their room and they closed rooms' door loudly. It woke me up at least 5 times. I know it was not hotel's faults but It made me to have a bad sleep, consequently bad morning. However, I will recommend it if you want to stat for night. Pro: clean, OK staff, have tims and McDonald's in walking distance. Con: noisy and super loud guests and thin walls.
"Nice hotel, overall average."
04/28/14 PatR359 Lindsay, Canada
Overall it wasn't a bad place to stay. We got the room at a good rate considering. Checking in we found a strong odor of cigarettes. Staff welcomed us nicely, however, realizing the room was on the second floor, I asked for room on the first because my wife had very sore knee. She said we could, as long as we paid more, in which we declined. So I think they could have accommodated us considering the hotel wasn't full. Overall, the room was clean with fridge and microwave. Beds were comfortable, and for the most part, quiet. I would stay again. It served us well. It's location is good, just off the 401.
"Typical Comfort Inn"
01/28/14 HappyWanderer9 Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
This is your typical comfort inn--no frills and basic comfortable accommodation. The bed was comfortable and had 4 smaller pillows--I would have preferred larger pillows but that is a matter of choice. The room was clean and the only complaint I would have is the heating system. It is one of the older systems were the heater is very hard to adjust--the room is either very hot or cold. Maybe if I had stayed longer I would have found the perfect setting. The breakfast is typical--waffles, cereal, toast etc. Would like to see them add eggs or other hot entry as several other chains have started doing. I cannot complain about this hotel but I cannot rave about it either --as I said it is your typical comfort inn.
"A nice stopover"
12/23/13 12Brian12 Strathroy, Canada
Normally I would give not this type of hotel a 5 rating but the service and the accommodation exceeded my expectations. We needed a stopover after a long drive and the Comfort Inn suited this very well. The hotel room was very clean, spacious and equipped with a fridge, microwave, desk with two chairs, coffee maker etc and included free breakfast (basic but sufficient) and cost about 95$. Why pay more? The staff could not have been nicer both on arrival and departure. Additionally I accidentally spilled juice over the breakfast area and the young lady taking care of the area immediately cleaned everything in a very cheerful manner. An added plus was the fact that we could bring the breakfast back to the room. The hotel is a short walk (5 min) to two fast food outlets - Tim Horton's and McDonalds - not exactly gourmet but convenient if that is what you want. All in all a positive experience - Kudos to the staff
