Hotel was okay, bad linens and pillows... Really dirty floors around the baseboards. Stay here only if you have time to enjoy the market below. Difficult to go back and forth across using the Seabus and it really wasn't all that cool. Not worth it if your in a hurry to get alot in...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Expensive Rate does NOT always mean Upscale Hotel"
Good Location to Market in North Vancouver and easy access to attractions in area. But although clean was so terribly dated and the hotel was dark with dreary with colors of brown and other dark colors that it was depressing. The bed was terrible and uncomfortable and the decor was unattractive and the CHEAPEST quality of furnishings I have ever experienced. […] I know they only are a 3 star due to the location. Very, very disappointed in the hotel and the nightly rate was more expensive than the beautiful new upscale hotel we got later in downtown Vancouver. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Too much for what you don't get.................Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our Stay was less than one would expect. The TV offered very limited channels- difficult to find a new station. The carpet was dirty and the A/C temperature dial was broken. When I went to the front desk to get coins for the laundry they charged me .20 cents to US for $2.00 canadian even though the exchange at the time was higher for the US dollar- […] I would not recomend this hotel Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value in Lonsdale Quay"
Great location with great restaurant choices within walking distance. We had an end room on the top floor overlooking the water. The room was large and very nicely decorated. It had a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker that was perfect for making a breakfast after buying fresh items at the Lonsdale Quay market on the bottom floor of the […] building. The bathroom was small but modern and more than adequate for the two of us. Highly recommended for the location and value. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff at the Lonsdale Quay very very good. The hotel was a little dated and the beds somewhat lumpy, but for the price a good choice. The area is good if you don't mind taking the seabus into downtown. Always felt safe and public transportation very easy to get to everywhere. The hotel restaurant is only open for breakfast and was closed for two […] days of the trip. We enjoyed having the market with the food court under the hotel. The market does open at 9 and closes at 7, but there are other places nearby for dinner, not really for breakfast. Even so I would stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"cozy not too fancy"
parked adjacent to building free on weekends. a little anxious nit knowing exactly where to go after map quest said arriving at destination! more laid back than Vancouver did not go across water.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"boutique on a budget"
Came for conference and mini vacation. Much cheaper than any of the hotels near the conference center, and it's just a quick and pleasant seabus ride away. It's inside Lonsdale Quay market on the north/street side of the building. The market is funky and cute, and there were a lot of food options both in the market and nearby. Neighborhood restaurants […] were open late, which was a big plus. Overall, great boutique feel for a good chunk less than hotels across the harbour. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"I was covered with flea bites after a 1 night stay"
Everything was great except for the fact that the room was full of fleas. The previous occupant must have had a pet and since the animal was no longer there, the fleas decided to feast on me. :(Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is in a great area, close to the water, it has a great market in the lower part of the building. Fantastic Italian Restaurant around the corner. We would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"High priced but great food downstairs in the Quay"
We found the staff at he London's Quay hotel to be very courteous and very knowledgeable. What they do lack is any help in bringing your luggage to your room or even into the hotel. We parked downstairs and then took an elevator three floors up to where the main lobby is for the hotel. We found the rooms to be very large the beds to be also large and […] comfortable. We love the fresh market and the accompanying little eateries and microbrewery that was found on site. We did have a great view of the harbor although our balcony left a lot to be desired as just a door and a poll. If you are looking to stay in downtown Vancouver this is not the place for you but if you don't mind being out side of Vancouver with easy access and have a great place for food and dining and bars this is a pleasant place to be. This hotel is perfect if you are taking or coming home from a cruise. The food court below was out of this world, as was the shopping. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Just a little bit pricey, but convenience more than made up for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Vancouver Stay"
We were just looking for a hotel to stay for one night before embarking on a cruise. The Lonsdale Quay hotel was perfect for us. Excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms, and very good amenities. The one qualm is that finding the entrance with four suitcases in the middle of the night coming off of the Vancouver Seabus was a bit of a challenge. […] (The trick, we found the next morning, was coming up the IBCB (?) elevator, which brings you right near the entrance to the hotel.) I would stay there again if I came back to Vancouver. "Decent Hotel Close to Public Transportation"
Our experience: We got in on Amtrak late, around 11pm. At that time of night, the only way to the hotel was by Taxi, which cost about $30. The hotel is next to the SeaBus terminal, so the next day we were able to walk over and catch a city bus to Grouse Mt. The Eye Of the Wind (EOW) exhibit is fantastic! Just down the mountain from Grouse Mt. is the […] Capilano Suspension Bridge - another spot in North Vancouver that you will NOT want to miss. The next day, we purchased day passes for Vancouver public transportation ($9.50 per pass) and we spent the entire day riding the ferry, Sky Train and public busses to Yaletown, Granville Island, Gastown, and after dodging a downpour (sky-juice as it is referred to by the locals), we ferried back home to a great meal in one of the many restaurants in the hotel. Very early the next AM, we took a taxi back to the train station and were back home in Portland by mid-afternoon. A very enjoyable trip that we will fondly remember. "Lodging for Conference"
Stayed here while I was attending a conference at the Convention Center. Very easy to use ferry (seabus) to access downtown as well as the bus system for seeing some sights in the North Vancouver. "No tug boats?"
Not the hotels fault but we stayed at the hotel so we could watch the tug boats and there were none. The room was fine, but I,d prefer more allergy free environment. Check in was excruciating slow!! The person at the desk was trying to give us a better view, but that should have been done when I called about the reservation a month ago. "Great Hotel away from Downtown"
The hotel location was amazing, a short walk away from the bus and sea bus terminal and a short 15 minute sea bus ride into downtown Vancouver. The room was clean, comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. It was also near a lot of north Vancouver restaurants which made it perfect in my mind: removed from the craziness of Downtown, but close […] enough to travel via convenient public transit, the hotel made the weekend perfect. "panoramic ocean views"
Were upgraded from our executive suite into one with panoramic ocean views. It was really nice. Traffic made it a little tough to get to the more downtown area but almost everything you could need is at the market downstairs. Lots of great restaurants nearby.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for family"
Nice night down town view across the river. Seabus is right down the hotel that takes you to the down town. Kids really loved it. You can easily go to Grouse Mt. Lovely market right under hotelGenuine Expedia guest review

"Something to think about"
The architecture of the hotel and Plaza is confusing. Accessibility into the hotel was challenging at best. One of the elevators was in service, and there's no stairs that actually go to the top floor of the hotel so that was another issue. The fitness room was extremely minimal. The mattress creaked, and I was awoken early morning by the pipes vibrating […] and humming in the wall from someone taking a shower next to me. access to downtown Vancouver was a hassle, is there was construction on the Lion's Gate bridge, which is poorly designed as there's multiple lanes which bottle neck and the one heading south-bound into Vancouver. overall was very nice it was very professional, aside from all the other issues. Unless you really need to be in North Vancouver, I would suggest staying in downtown Vancouver. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"I got what I paid for - which wasn't much."
Paid 62 bucks for what turned out to be a small, ground floor room facing an ugly office building. I was expecting at least a tiny bit of the spectacular view one would expect from the setting. It felt like a Motel 6. There are zero amenities available. No room service, no coffee shop - I asked the front desk for a corkscrew and they couldn't even come […] up with that. Response by Lonsdale Quay Hotel Dear Guest, Thank you for advising us of your stay. You purchased a standard city view room, with no water view. We have a small number of rooms that do not have any views, and the room type you booked was indicated on Expedia. Also, we are located in a public market, with over 40 food options to choose from. There is also an onsite restaurant, and right across the street, more than a dozen awesome food options to suit every taste. Also, the last Seabus is at Midnight. After that, there is a bus that brings you straight from the downtown core to Lonsdale Quay. I’m glad that you received the great rate, and hope that next time you’ll consider booking a room with a view as we are right on the water. Sincerely, Farah Stéen General Manager
Nice property. We really enjoyed the fact that is was on the water, above the Lonsdale Market, close to the sea bus. Room was perfect very clean. Upscale stay for a mid scale price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The service at Lonsdale was outstanding. The staff is helpful and friendly. It is located on an excellent location with easy access to Downtown Vancouver via the Seabus. The GOOD - Very safe, you are surrounded by all attractions, shopping and restaurants. "Great value and location in North Vancouver"
First of all, if you want to stay downtown and mostly walk, this is not the place to stay. If you have a car or don't mind a short commute, its a great location. Its about a 10 minute drive to places like Stanley Park and downtown. It is a great location to stay out of the city and close to places like Capilano and Grousse Mtn. There are plenty of restaurants […] and shopping nearby. The parking is a bit odd, but really not all that inconvenient like some have stated. They have a garage that easily accessible via elevators from the hotel. The hotel is within a market, so the firs two floors are market and shops and the third is the hotel. Not a big deal. Take the elevator straight to the 3rd floor and you are right in the hotel lobby. I would stay here again if I had plans to see things mostly in North Vancouver or had a longer stay to make it worth the while for public transit. A weekend trip with sightseeing mostly downtown will be a bit of a hassle depending on where you are going because of parking and fees associated with it downtown. "Great hotel in a wonderful location!"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lonsdale. We had a standard room so we weren't expecting alot but were upgraded to a room with a view which highlighted our stay! Its so accessible to transport and the shops and market in the lower levels of the hotel are a plus. All staff were curtious and helpful. Really nice staying on the water and easily catching […] a ferry into the city. There are great little restaurants nearby too. Fishworks was our favorite!. "Bus station, not a mall"
Instead of emailing usinfo on what COLORS our room would be, how about telling us in advance which parking lot to turn into? There is no sign, nothing. We parked across the street and walked into the deserted food court. We finally called the desk and couldn't understand the receptionist's rapid gobbled English. Finally a young man came down, got in […] our car with us, and directed us to the real parking garage. Also, I thought this would be a crowded, safe mall for our after dark arrival. Instead, it's a bus-ferry terminal, and all the shops had closed down. Spooky and unsafe. The room was nice, but getting to it was awful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
