"panoramic ocean views"
Were upgraded from our executive suite into one with panoramic ocean views. It was really nice. Traffic made it a little tough to get to the more downtown area but almost everything you could need is at the market downstairs. Lots of great restaurants nearby.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for family"
Nice night down town view across the river. Seabus is right down the hotel that takes you to the down town. Kids really loved it. You can easily go to Grouse Mt. Lovely market right under hotelGenuine Expedia guest review
Comfortable yet professional. Quiet, views, fabulous location, parking, shoppe and restaurants, really safe. Very helpful staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Something to think about"
The architecture of the hotel and Plaza is confusing. Accessibility into the hotel was challenging at best. One of the elevators was in service, and there's no stairs that actually go to the top floor of the hotel so that was another issue. The fitness room was extremely minimal. The mattress creaked, and I was awoken early morning by the pipes vibrating […] and humming in the wall from someone taking a shower next to me. access to downtown Vancouver was a hassle, is there was construction on the Lion's Gate bridge, which is poorly designed as there's multiple lanes which bottle neck and the one heading south-bound into Vancouver. overall was very nice it was very professional, aside from all the other issues. Unless you really need to be in North Vancouver, I would suggest staying in downtown Vancouver. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
All was fine cept' the noisy mini refrigerator which I unplugged and lumpy pillows. Staff was very pleasant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I got what I paid for - which wasn't much."
Paid 62 bucks for what turned out to be a small, ground floor room facing an ugly office building. I was expecting at least a tiny bit of the spectacular view one would expect from the setting. It felt like a Motel 6. There are zero amenities available. No room service, no coffee shop - I asked the front desk for a corkscrew and they couldn't even come […] up with that. Response by Lonsdale Quay Hotel Dear Guest, Thank you for advising us of your stay. You purchased a standard city view room, with no water view. We have a small number of rooms that do not have any views, and the room type you booked was indicated on Expedia. Also, we are located in a public market, with over 40 food options to choose from. There is also an onsite restaurant, and right across the street, more than a dozen awesome food options to suit every taste. Also, the last Seabus is at Midnight. After that, there is a bus that brings you straight from the downtown core to Lonsdale Quay. I’m glad that you received the great rate, and hope that next time you’ll consider booking a room with a view as we are right on the water. Sincerely, Farah Stéen General Manager
Nice property. We really enjoyed the fact that is was on the water, above the Lonsdale Market, close to the sea bus. Room was perfect very clean. Upscale stay for a mid scale price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would not go back"
The hotel was in a convenient area, but in need of a serious upgrade. They tried to make the room look updated but it didn't work. I'm sure there are better options available nearby.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I stay on a regular basis it is a great location and the staff is great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK, but nothing exciting"
Nice setting. Good service. Shower has controls across the shower stream so have to get into the shower to adjust hot and cold.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice place, especially for the price. Good for visiting Vancouver without actually staying in downtown.Nice views!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pretty good hotel"
The only thing is water front rooms don't have a view to Vancouver downtownGenuine Expedia guest review
"Old and need renovation"
The hotel so old and need a real renovation with a bright color. The location and style of the hotel ( market ) is nice . But rooms are so dark . I was in Seattle Bellevue after vancouver( Lonsdale quay hotel) in courtyard Marriott with the same price! What a big difference. Hotel needs a real renovation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice area but not a great hotel for special occass"
Wi-Fi was super slow, restaurant was closed and comforter was smelly; what else you are looking for to make decision?Genuine Expedia guest review
The service at Lonsdale was outstanding. The staff is helpful and friendly. It is located on an excellent location with easy access to Downtown Vancouver via the Seabus. The surrounding neighborhood is nice and quiet with lots of stuff to do and a farmers market/shopping mall located at the hotel's footsteps. The view from the room is amazing with sweeping […] views of downtown Vancouver and the surrounding area. The room itself was clean and very comfortable. I know exactly where will be staying next time I go back to Vancouver and I need a place to stay, I'm going straight back to the Lonsdale Quay! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wish I could stay LONGER."
The GOOD - Very safe, you are surrounded by all attractions, shopping and restaurants. Everything is reasonably priced and you could drive anywhere and avoid the crowd, traffic and congestion in Vancouver. The view of the the city is AMAZING! The room is very spacious! Staff is Great! The BAD - When you arrive at the hotel in the parking lot at night, […] it is a bit scary. But when you get inside the hotel, it's much better. Parking is hard to find and it's NOT FREE! Wish I could stay longer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value and location in North Vancouver"
First of all, if you want to stay downtown and mostly walk, this is not the place to stay. If you have a car or don't mind a short commute, its a great location. Its about a 10 minute drive to places like Stanley Park and downtown. It is a great location to stay out of the city and close to places like Capilano and Grousse Mtn. There are plenty of restaurants […] and shopping nearby. The parking is a bit odd, but really not all that inconvenient like some have stated. They have a garage that easily accessible via elevators from the hotel. The hotel is within a market, so the firs two floors are market and shops and the third is the hotel. Not a big deal. Take the elevator straight to the 3rd floor and you are right in the hotel lobby. I would stay here again if I had plans to see things mostly in North Vancouver or had a longer stay to make it worth the while for public transit. A weekend trip with sightseeing mostly downtown will be a bit of a hassle depending on where you are going because of parking and fees associated with it downtown. Excellently located hotel on the less hectic north shore; convenient to shopping (in the downstairs mall) and the Seabus for easy access into downtown Vancouver. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely views of harbor, quiet, comfortable, well appointed and clean room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"great hotel on the harbor"
The hotel was in a perfect location for our visit. The Seabus was right there, to get us into downtown Vancouver, plenty of great restaurants by the hotel. Freeway access was close as we drove up Highway 1 along the coast during our visit. Parking was underneath the hotel and affordable. Loved the room with the view of downtown Vancouver and the harbor. "Great hotel in a wonderful location!"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lonsdale. We had a standard room so we weren't expecting alot but were upgraded to a room with a view which highlighted our stay! Its so accessible to transport and the shops and market in the lower levels of the hotel are a plus. All staff were curtious and helpful. Really nice staying on the water and easily catching […] a ferry into the city. There are great little restaurants nearby too. Fishworks was our favorite!. The Capillano suspension Bridge is only a short bus ride away and is breathtaking! We would stay at the Lonsdale again and felt it was value for money. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Bus station, not a mall"
Instead of emailing usinfo on what COLORS our room would be, how about telling us in advance which parking lot to turn into? There is no sign, nothing. We parked across the street and walked into the deserted food court. We finally called the desk and couldn't understand the receptionist's rapid gobbled English. Finally a young man came down, got in […] our car with us, and directed us to the real parking garage. Also, I thought this would be a crowded, safe mall for our after dark arrival. Instead, it's a bus-ferry terminal, and all the shops had closed down. Spooky and unsafe. The room was nice, but getting to it was awful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hard to find but nice room"
I had a hard time locating the hotel but once there it was a very nice room in a nice location. Lots of little shops and restaurants and only a short drive to the highway. They charged $12 per night for parking and breakfast was not included in the stay but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was a little old, but I enjoyed my stay, The price was good, the location was very nice. I would come back. I am picky too, so trust me.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best Hotel in North Vancouver BC"
We have stayed at the Lonsdale Quay quite a few times. It is our first choice to stay when we are in Vancouver. It is close to the downtown area either by mass transit or by your own vehicle.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel facing downtown Vancouver"
Hotel is sitting on top of a market. Hard to find parking lot. Sign is at a very obscure location. Took us 15 minutes and a trip to hotel to find it. Mattress and pillows were hard.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Love the Rain"
Other than a few minor repairs required (lamp shade fell off, had to fix the hardware on it before it would go back on) and (blinds not in the best shapre) the room was fine. Rollaway was included which was great, as my son decided to come along at the last minute. One suggestion; when everything is closed for the night and you get the munchies, it […] would be a great idea to have a snack machine (chips, chocolate bars, pop ?) on at least the front desk level. Otherwise you have to get in your vehicle from the underground parking and go 2 blocks to get food, not cool !! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Loved the waterfront Location!"
We loved this hotel! The décor and the waterfront location were wonderful. There was also a shuttle, on the hour, to almost anywhere. The rooms are a little "tight" but so inviting! Terrific bath...also "tight"! Great waterfront bar and restaurant with great food! We were happy "campers" and are returning next week, but don't like paying an extra $100 […] for the same room! "Girls weekend in Vancouver"
I checked with Expedia to find an inexpensive , comfortable Hotel near the cruise ship pier. As my bestie & I took a one night cruise aboard the Westerdam from Seattle to Vancouver. Needed a Hotel within close proximity. Looked all over, this was a 12 minute water taxi ride across from the ship. The 2 other women in our party, drove from Seattle & took […] us to the Hotel. Nicely decorated, very large room with 2 queen beds, plush carpeting & large flat screen tv. There is a great market below the Hotel, you actually walk past check in & look below at the shops. There is a couple restaurants/bar there too. Four of us stayed for about $180 and had a great time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient location in north Vancouver."
just a short sea bus trip away from the city but conveniently in north vancouver with easy access via regional transit to attractions in north Vancouver. A tad bit pricey for what you get, but other than that the hotel met expectations and the location was superb if you are looking for something not downtown.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great place to stay in North Vancouver"
This was the third time we've stayed at the hotel, always feel we have a pleasant stay and that the value is good. Staff are attentive, friendly and courteous. Only comment I would say that was negative was that the 3rd floor rooms were quieter than the 4th (top) floor which had a bit of rooftop machinery noise.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel needs updating. Housekeeping poor. comfortab"

"Convenient to downtown with the quiet of not being"
Second stay at Lonsdale Quay. Enjoy location much and the hotel is nice. Love being on the water, can open windows and hear the water and seagulls.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location if you don't want to be right in Vancouver. Ferrie is within walking distance. There is shopping on the lower level perfect for coffee etc. Right on the water.Genuine Expedia guest review
First off, I must qualify the review with fact that I am not that picky. If you are that picky, you would probably rate this hotel a 4.0 - 4.5. Awesome location and the market and food court down below gives you a plethora of choices. The ease with which you can access the downtown area via the sea bus is great too. All in all I believe people in general […] will NOT regret their stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Five-star service- great location"
Our second stay at Lonsdale Quay. Service is excellent. We had a problem with our room and asked to be moved and even though the hotel was quite full, the front desk found us another room, which was even better. Also, I left a pair of pants behind and they actually called me to say they'd been found - how often does that happen? Some rooms have somewhat […] dated décor but all are comfortable and have good beds and enough pillows. Linens are basic and do the job for the price. Bathrooms are all updated with marble counters. Great location - very close to Seabus to downtown Vancouver and to shopping/food right at the quay and on Lower Lonsdale in North Vancouver. Most rooms have at least a partial view of harbor. Surprisingly quiet at night. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Used to be a great place to stay"
Got to the room. Window could not be opened, one door would not open, blinds inside one of the door were broken. Had to leave door open for air. AC smelled like mold. Two days straight heard construction work. Had to leave room. Second day housekeeping forgot to make the bed, took dirty towels and did not replace. Had to call front desk. Very limited […] tv stations. At checkout a $5 resort fee added each day--not disclosed. Unaware of $250 damage deposit held. Will never go back to this hotel. In a small very nice mall with several very good restaurants. Seabus nearly, very easy to get to downtown Vancouver. Interesting ride in - lots of industrial and shipping buildings on the way in. Rooms were large and comfortable with reasonable prices.Genuine Expedia guest review

"hotel was close to many attractions"
The hotel was very clean. I loved the market that was on the floor below. I also liked that we were close to the shuttle boat that took us to downtown vancouver.Genuine Expedia guest review
Everything was wonderful about this hotel except the mattress. It was lumpy and uncomfortable. The market downstairs had many shopping and eating choices. There were fun activities on the boardwalk and the Seabus to downtown Vancouver was very close.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was on a good location even though it was across the water from downtown you just had to walk out of the hotel to the catch the seabus across at either $4 per trip or $2.75 on weekends and public holidays Although rooms a little tired they were clean and roomyGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Labor Day Weekend Trip"
We decided to go to Vancouver BC to visit the Capilano Bridge Park and found the Lonsdale Quay online and at a good location. The area of the hotel was very nice but the room we received was disappointing. We were told on check-in we were upgraded to a water view, what they failed to tell us was our room, bed side wall, was shared with the lounge. Then […] I tried to take a jacuzzi bath and the jets didn't work. I called the desk and was told I didn't have a Jacuzzi bath, ok so I have jets so it's a Jacuzzi tub, was told again I didn't have a Jacuzzi tub. We won't use this facility next time.
