After entering our room we noticed the light over the sink was not working. Tried to call the front desk but no one answered. Went down to the front desk and reported the problem. The front desk clerk said that was on her list to be fixed, but he must not have done it. She then said "If I give you the bulb is there someone with you who could change […] it?" I said no and she called in the maintenance man. He said he thought he did it earlier, but must have gotten the wrong room. He put in a new bulb. It lasted long enough for him to leave. We just did without. The pool was so cold you could not swim. The hotel is in need of alot of repair. A window in the pool room was propped open with a board for one example. Our room had had a leak in the ceiling and was poorly repaired and carpet had a huge stain. Read more

The breakfast service was less than exceptable room service was nonexistant we had to call the desk for service. Some of the rooms were not even ready when we arrived at 4:30 PM. it is a TERRIABLE place to stay. We asked to speak with the owner, she never took the time to try to speak with us or findout what our problems were. The pool was out of order […] and had been for some time. We were told just prior to our arrival that there was a pool, we were not old it was out of order. We would have changed our hotel reservations if we would have known. The pool heater was out, the hot tub was out, we were first placed in a room that had flooded and there was standing water in the floor. The sheets were clean but the carpet left our feet black after walking on it for just a few minutes, so we had to wear our shoes around the room the entire time.

We loved that the motel was relatively inexpensive. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean. However, there were red "stains" on our sheets. Not sure if it was blood or fingernail polish. There were chips on the bathtub and a great big crack in the sink. It was obvious that there had been a major leak in the ceiling. It was repaired badly. I would agree with other travelers, the hotel is dated. But I felt it was clean. They were very accommodating. My only complaint was the cricket that crawled across my husbands arm in bed......yikes!

This Econo had more than I required and expected, with the swimming pool and workout room. I got exactly what I needed ~ comfortable bed, sizeable room, clean and the a/c worked well. Bonus ~ it's a small hotel and so there was not constant traffic and noise. It will be my destination next time I'm in the area.

Asked for non smoking, could tell smoking had taken place often. Only half the lights worked. Key ceased to work after first day. Did not get room remade one day because their laundry broke down.

Only gripe was the beds were the "sleep comfort" beds, but the air pump didn't work on on one of them and sagged to the middle. Otherwsie, it was fine (no free breakfast, but it looked like a nice buffet).

Very friendly and helpful staff and a comfortable bed, with a coffee pot, microwave, and small fridge in the room made for a very pleasant stay. This is a convenient location, close to the highway, but without any road noise.
