"Not new or fancy, but clean and comfortable."
The walls were a little thin, and we could hear kids running back and forth above our room. However, the hotel service was very friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean.

The people that work at this hotel are marvelous, from the reception we got from Gayle, to the great breakfast with a smile by Silvia (the buffet was very complete, eggs, bacon included), to the humor-filled conversation with Arlene who came to ask us if all was well. Did not get the room that I had booked which was a deluxe 2 bed instead got a 2 bed room with no space and unfriendly person on arival! Would not recommend to anyone.
"Perfect Hotel for us!"
We stayed at Holiday Inn Express for a family reunion just out of town. The location and quality were perfect for us. We didn't spend a fortune, and the breakfast was exceptionally good. The lady who hosted was incredible! She really knew how to move fast. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Quite possibly, the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in! I have paid for many "5 star" hotels that could not compete. I don't know what changes Holiday Inn Express have undergone, but they are now my hotel of choice.
Overall good hotel. We have stayed 3x and all 3 locations have excessive early morning noise. I could hear the cell phone next door. If u need sleep past 530 a. m. , then i would suggest another hotel.

The Holiday Inn Express brand has been a very consistent experience for us, and we have stayed at several. Never excellent or astonishing in any way but always a reliable and restful experience. This hotel delivers that same familiar feeling. Only two minor complaints - one being our room was directly adjacent to the elevator and the noise, while not […] loud, was noticeable (which is our own fault for not asking to relocate). The other complaint would be that the room initially smelled a bit stale but was not off-putting in any way and appeared clean. The location is just a couple of miles northeast of downtown Eugene, so just a short drive. Convenient access to I-5. A few restaurants are located nearby, including a brew pub next door. Hotel is close to I5 and off a major route. Close to large sized mall, Gateway. Hotel is clean and neat with friendly staff. Hotel is far enough away from busy street to aviod traffic noise. Close to shopping mall and lots of restaurants. Excellant breakfast. I had my grandchildren with me and they enjoyed the pool. Front desk even gave us a room by the pool.

We were just looking for a hotel to spend the night and get up early to continue our journey. We found this hotel to be very clean, friendly staff & the rooms were very spacious and modern. I was surprised how much room we had in our room for a family of 5. The breakfast area was very clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay there again.

The people at this hotel are super friendly! Check-in was quick and easy. One of the house keepers brought our daughter a pool toy to use in the indoor pool. Every time we ran into an employee they were super nice and talkative with us. The pool was nice and there is an adjoining outdoor patio. We used the on-site laundry since we had been camping before […] we arrived. The breakfast was good and had many items to choose from. We had a dog with us and were pleased to find they had an outdoor area for dogs to go potty complete with bags and a trash can for their waste. There are lots of restaurants nearby and it's very convenient to the free-way. It is near the hospital, Sacred Heart at Riverbend, if you are visiting the hospital for any reason. "Not in Eugene but not far"
New, nice, pleasant. The hotel is about 5 min from Eugene but I a have stayed in some of the other hotels in Eugene and this little drive is worth it. You will need to go to Eugene for more upscale food but there are Shari's and Elemer's across the street. Overall a good recommendation.

What a good experience from the time we walked in, till the time we left. Friendly staff, close to what we wanted, and the pool had a great atmosphere with LOTS of seating ( a rarity). We stayed at this hotel for a soccer tournament. The veranda area was a nice touch. Very clean the only downfall was that there were pets but we couldnt tell by the clenliness of our room. "Exceptionally helpful staff"
It's a good hotel. There were a few things about the building that may have been better, like the thin walls and the somewhat noisy air conditioner. But what made us really like it and definitely want to come back when we are in the area was the staff - genuinely nice and extremely helpful! Our room was right above the pool (which is a good size by […] the way) and noisy, so when we mentioned it they gave us a different, quiet room right away. The only negative I can think of is that the hotel entrance is a little outdated and would be perfect if it had new sliding entrance doors. Other than that, we were very satisified with our stay. Service was excellent, and our room was clean and comfortable. We received a room immediately across from the pool and a large loud group of kids were interupting until late. Breakfast was ok food but excellent service.

THIS WAS A VERY COMFORTABLE ROOM AND CONVENIENTLY LOCATED NEAR SEVERAL RESTAURANTS IN WALKING DISTANCE. THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY. "Good hotel"
Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful, convenient, and had a variety of choices. The "Suite" was very slightly larger than a regular sized room.
"BAD! BAD!"
They stuck me in a room near the electrical. There was a very huge vibration and loud noise, that made sleep impossible. Plumbing was extremely loud and shook the room when others outside of the room used it. I do not recommend this hotel at all!
