Hotel Indigo St Petersburg Downtown - St. Petersburg

No breakfast ticets were given when we checked in ~ causing us to pay first morning ~ Absolutely no continental breakkfast menu existed had to keep asking what we could have and ended up payinng for coffee which was included but they took our money for it every day and did not tell us it came. Never offered to refund us when i was upset with them.

Room was booked to have 2 beds and ended up being 1 bed and a pull out couch. The room itself (and we had a suite) was not accommodating for 2 adults and a 10 yr old. One small dresser, no bathroom vanity space. We could barely unpack. Shower was clean but was set up poorly. The staff was great... But we won't be back.

We arrived shortly before the Tampa Bay Rays home opener. We needed to clean up from our traveling before heading out. Shortly after checking in and getting into the shower, the water turned off. And was off for a long time. I went to the front desk and they said they were replacing a shower head and it would be back on shortly. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was excellent. The bathroom was quite small and in need of upkeep. The toilet had a leak in the fitting. I liked the look of the room and the hotel. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very nice and a great location to everything. We did have a problem adjusting the heat which was either extremely hot at night or very cold. There was also a lot of noise due to construction site across the street. Staff were very helpful and professional.

I was disappointed with the conditon of this hotel. I had items in my room in disrepair. The bathroom is very small and has an old wooden chair in the shower with the towels stored on it and no place to put them. THe fire alarm was going off. This hotel was WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for the qualit of the room.

Very disappointed with this stay. First, the room was not at all as pictured on the expedia site for the category chosen and paid for. Secondly, BOTH the bathroom sink and the shower were completely stopped up!! The shower was stopped up so badly that I had to get out of the shower with conditioner in my hair and call for maintenance to come and unclog […] it before I could finish and rinse off! (note: this is a shower with a small edge, not a tub, so the water would have overflowed. There is no way that housekeeping, if they indeed cleaned and rinsed the shower every day would not have known this - and it was evident by the dirty water I had to stand in. When we checked out, the person at the front desk seemed completely unbothered by this - simply gave us our bill to check out. Totally different experience from our earlier stay there. Our room and closet was small, but the bathroom was barely big enough to turn around in! I know not all rooms are as small because another couple we know had a much more comfortable room. The service in the bar was good. The room was clean and fairly close to Vinoy Park.

We were able to check in earlier than the regular check-in time, which was a plus. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient. No one else was in the lobby and the hotel seemed very quiet. We had to park in a lot around back, and come in through a side door. Once we got into our room, we were impressed with the furniture and unique decor. It is an older […] hotel that has been refurbished. But, it's all done relatively tastefully, with lots of lime green. Not sure where the indigo blue is. When we turned on the TV, it didn't show a picture. I called the front desk, told her of the problem, and the same desk clerk asked me to unplug and plug the TV back in. This fixed the problem. We went for a walk in the neighborhood, winding up at the St. Petersburg Pier, and had a great time. From there, several sidewalk cafes are on the way back to the hotel, along with a movie theater and several Starbucks-like stores. Later, I wanted to take a shower, and it did take a while for the hot water to arrive. Still, all in all, we had a very pleasant stay and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who is used to a restored hotel experience. Read more

They go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you are looking for a 5 star (or even 4 star) hotel, this isn't it. We chose this hotel mainly because of its location. We were able to walk to baseball games, restaurants and Dali Museum. We were greeted by friendly staff. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated as well as quiet. The hotel offers a limited breakfast menu. There is a small outdoor pool.

Great for a night or two. Very close to Tropicana Field and easy to get both in and out of the stadium parking. Paid for a suite - was charged 100%, non-refundable in advance(??). Sofa was filthy/stained...yuck. Bed linens were dirty; beadspread was stained...double yuck! Panhandlers asking for change on the sidewalk out front...hoookers seen nearby. Hotel is walking distance to the St Pete Pier. Very convenient for me because I was going to the Pier to take some night photographs. Hotel is very clean. Parking can be a problem. Parking spaces are few. Overall, my wife and I were satisfied. We'd stay there again.

Our car was broken into during the night right under our window after the staff told us not to worry about it in their parking lot. The night we stayed there, at least one other guest car was broken into and they complained as we did. When we told the front desk about it they said they were not responsible and we should have read the signs in their […] parking lot, not holding them responsible for theft or damage. They should have al least warned us about this problem with the hotel parking lot and we could have parked elsewhere.
