clean, quiet and great locationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is close to a theatre, restaurants, and stores within walking distance. The mall is just a short drive from here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel could use a little love. It's pretty worn down. Clean for worn down.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Better than expected!"
Fantastic location and service. Very clean (albeit dated) rooms and property. Great value,Genuine Hotels.com guest review
we were so pleased with this particular hotel. I almost had given up on Fairfeld Inn's after my most recent stay, in another city. Staff was so pleasant, room was quiet, clean and in a very convenient location. Very pleased and will stay again when in the area for business or leisure. I traveled to the area for eye surgery appreciated the kindness of […] the staff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

A packed weekend in STL for a Cubs/Cards game forced us out of town. We came out here after a long day. The place is older. I noticed a permit they are going to start renovations soon. We had two rooms. One had a microwave, fridge and easy chair. The other was bare bones. Desk, bed etc. the bed was hard and uncomfortable. It was clean. Had the basic breakfast bar. Staff were friendly. Many close restaurants. Stay was not remarkable, the price tag for what we got was a little steep. I hope the renovations go well, they need it.
"Only in a pinch "
Checked in around 3:30 in the afternoon and 2 of the 3 rooms were still not ready. Rooms outdated and thin walled. Reserved 3 rooms for a state bowling tournament. Unable to sleep in all 3 separate rooms due to the ball teams running and jumping in rooms above us. Unable to understand why they would place kids teams on the upper level. One room was next to the laundry and breakfast prep room at 4am they started and the door banged on the metal door latch from then until we checked out. In my opinion the staff should have propped the door opened with something to avoid the noise. Then the staff would be dragging brooms, vac and other cleaning supplies down the hall then guest were coming the other way full of luggage. It was the guests that were courteous to move not the staff. Lastly we wanted to pay for one room separately and it took Kristen over 25 minutes to figure out how to reverse the charge from one card to another. I know she waited on the phone for over 11 minutes on the GM to answer the call which she she never did and ended up calling a general help line to get the answers. Positives likes the new bed covers and overall the most of the staff would go out of their way to help if they could.

Didn't have too much contact with the staff, but when we did at check in they were very nice as you would expect. The rooms were also clean as you would also expect. The only downside is the aesthetics of the room. Old looking ugly green carpet. Chair quite old looking as we'll. There is a newer flat screen tv that is a plus. The biggest problem that I had is that I had a terrible night sleep because of the A/C & heat unit. It's one one of these old units were you can not set a temperature. It was essentially on or off. Woke up sweating then turned it off, then woke up cold then turned it on. Repeat that a few times the night. THERE WAS NO TEMPERATURE WERE I COULD SET IT TO THE NUMBER I WANTED. Everything else could be overlooked except that. In summary, the room was not that expensive, but I counted at least two or three other hotels that are a stones throw away that you might want to check out to see if this is the area standard.

Stayed here two nights visiting family in the area. Hotel was clean and fairly quiet (it is located right on the intertstate so there was a little road noise) and clean. Room decor reminded me of Best Westerns I have stayed in and could use some updating. Hotel staff was very accomodating- we got a rollaway at no charge. Breakfast was good- had hot eggs and sausage as well as waffles, oatmeal, cereal and baked goods. No workout facilities except for tiny indoor pool but they have an agreement with Planet Fitness right near hotel ($5). Check internet for coupons in the area- saw one for $65/night for walk-ins.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn last weekend for a soccer tournament. The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the hot breakfast was very good and plentiful but the service from the staff (at all levels) was OUTSTANDING. They went out of their way to make our team comfortable, provided much needed dining discounts and when they heard our players talking about seeing a movie, they brought a list of the movies playing and close dining facilities. Granted most everyone would do this if they were asked, but this gentlemen was proactive and brought it without being asked. This hotel provided everything we expected and more. Hot cookies were really tasty and made the hotel smell great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling either alone or with a group.

We got a coupon for this hotel from the Tourist Information booth at the rest area on the interstate - saved us about 20% more than internet prices. We knew it was close to the highway, asked for a room as far away from the noise as possible. It was background noise, not hard to sleep. The staff is friendly, the rooms clean and spacious, comes with fridge and coffee maker, free internet and hot breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage etc). We also took their advice and walked next door to Agostino's Italian restaurant - they gave us a coupon for 15% off dinner - and we loved the food, the staff and the live piano/vocal entertainment. But if that doesn't sound appeal, there are lots of chain restaurants here too.

This was the perfect location for traveling through area. Close to highway, lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The price includes free wifi, parking, and breakfast. The bed was very comfortable, staff were very friendly, and breakfast area was clean and offered a good variety for a continental breakfast. I am staying here again next time I travel through the area.
"Not Worth The Price"

This property was not up to Marriott standards and we would avoid it on future trips. The rooms were badly in need of renovation and our stay made us leery of trying other Fairfield Inns. We stay at Marriott properties a lot and this one was a disappointment.
Travelled through area with three young children and arrived very late. Clean, safe, friendly! The front desk had the pack and play set up in the room before we arrived. We didn't stay for breakfast or utilize anything other than the room.

The hotel was pretty good. The room was clean. Small TV though. It had a pool. Decent breakfast (cereal, yogurt, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, bagels........The area also had lots of shopping and restaurant choices. The hotel is right off of I-64 about 12 miles to downtown St. Louis.
