Days Inn Aiken - Interstate Hwy 20 - Aiken

I checked in after hours and the lobby area smelled of smoke. The room was nice for me but I would have been embarrassed to take anyone there with me because the furniture, especially the table looked beat up. I couldn't even eat my meal on it because it did not look clean.

you get what you paid for. the room is smoky and carpet is dirty, even the bedding does not look very clean. I would not stay here if I could find another better hotel in the close area.

Fine stay. Just needs some updates. TV, showerhead, faucets, etc... Good location off the interstate. Office / dining area was smaller than expected. Good food, though.

Im overall happy with my stay. The tub had a broken plunger, the shower head shot pieces at me and the exhaust fan didn't work.

No Wi Fi and I told three different front desk clerks and was not offered a change of rooms and one seem to think I was lying. Dirty bed sheets and towels and lights from outside lights keep the room well lit up at night. Cheap but I want stay there again.

AC broke at house and needed a place to stay. This place is pet friendly and proved to be a very comfortable stay. We called in advance and on arrival they checked us in quickly. Room was clean. I would recommend this place to anybody.

This would be a nice place to stay if the rooms were kept up. The bed didn't have an under-sheet on it; just a comforter and a over-sheet. The ceiling was falling apart. Literally, you could see the drywall peeling away from the ceiling and the shower was all black and mildwey.

When staying in an older hotel you never know what you are going to get. We were very surprised by the condition and comfort of this Days Inn. The Hotel staff was great and polite. The room was cleaned and it was what we expected. The only problem that I had with the room was when we used the jacuzzi a piece of hair came out of the suction area. Overall the jacuzzi was clean just that one thing, but sure how to suggest they keep that from happening in the future.

The Days Inn, Aiken was the last "inexpensive" hotel with vacancies in proximity to my business meeting, so I grabbed a room. It sits behind an all-night gas station/convenience store right off the interstate. It didn't seem unsafe, just a little rundown. This property is nowhere near "downtown" Aiken - and the neighborhood (adjacent to the interstate) is not the best I've been in. The room was clean, but the buildings are in a sad state. The desk clerk was courteous, but the hotel was not at all what you would expect from a chain... even a Day's Inn. I would not recommend anyone visiting this location […] unless the owner/management did a complete overhaul - oh.. and you might want a room not next to the road crew that is LIVING in theirs - they keep LATE hours. The location of the hotel/motel was great. My only complaint, not really a complaint but more of an observation, was that the hotel/motel was very run down. The sheets were threadbare, the knobs in the shower weren't really tight, etc. However, everything was clean, priority #1.

I was not please with this hotel. The front desk customer services need help, my door key did not work, I had to go to the front desk three time before they got it right. The hotel only have one vending and ice machine on the first floor and there wasn't any ice in the machine.

The hotel is a nice place to stay out while you are in that area as a vacation or for somewhere you want to relax at when you needed some free time. Around the hotel it as places you can eat that in walking distance. The room service was good for me, they help me out when I needed help with something and they were nice.

This was a return visit to this location. Based on our previous experience, we did not go searching for laundry facilities on the second floor nor take in the free breakfast offered. The ice machine on the second floor was still out of order. We had a problem with our room and management made it right.

In a phrase, this property is to be avoided. Upon check-in to my room while attending The Masters, I discovered some sort of insect under the pillow. When I informed the front desk, they would only offer to change my sheets – not switch me to another room. In addition, the room was in general dirty and badly in need of remodeling.
