Could have been better. WIFI was terrible was not able to pick it up. To far from major stores and eating area. Will not stay their again if my life depends on it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not very pleasant!"
I checked into the hotel on an extremely cold evening, the hotel receptionist was wrapped in a blanket and was just putting it away when walked in. That should have been my first warning sign that something could be wrong. I entered the room and started the heat! One hour later the room was still freezing, I clothed myself appropriately hat, scarf, […] shoulder wrap etc. Called the front desk and was told someone would come check. I asked who should I look for a man, woman what? I was told it would be an Indian man. He came immediately and fumbled a bit just as I had and said I would need to change rooms. Front desk explained to particulars of the new room and I said ok. When he brought the key I noticed the air was getting warmer from the heater told the man I would just stay where I was. He asked a second time to make sure of what I said and left after my assurance that it would be fine, I was glad not to have to brave that cold again. Rested well, took a shower in the morning only to be faced with extremely dingy gray white towels that had the feel of barbed wire (Not a good feeling) If I could have used something else to dry off on I would have I wasn't sure if they were clean. Left hotel early, early for morning meeting. Never to return! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"A bit rough, but for the money it was OK"
Ok for a man on the road, or needing a place to stay for the week. If you are a family on vacation I would probably spend just a bit more. It was a good value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to destination"
The rooms were smelly. Had to wait for maids to clean rooms. We arrived at hotel 230 pm. Whenever I go back to visit I will not book at days inn. The rooms are horrible.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel near interstate"
Everything was better than expected internet worked great rooms were large and clean hotel is a little old so can't be perfect. I will stay their next timeGenuine Expedia guest review
"Ok hotel for the price"
Room was clean, carpet and chair looked a little old and slightly stained. Lobby smelled of cig smoke. Disappointed there wasn't any fruit at the breakfast. Overall, ok stay. We just needed a stop over on the way to Atlanta and that was a reasonable halfway point and price.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Okay Stay For the Money"
I checked in after hours and the lobby area smelled of smoke. The room was nice for me but I would have been embarrassed to take anyone there with me because the furniture, especially the table looked beat up. I couldn't even eat my meal on it because it did not look clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Skip this place...cleanliness not a priortity."
First clue...place was right behind the truck stop. Second clue...upon arrival around 8pm, I needed to interact with the front desk through a security window. When i got to my room, i was pleasantly surprised that the room appeared to be recently updated...not completely run down. But then I noticed some things that made it clear that cleaning the […] rooms was certainly not a priority. small dried soda spill on the bedside table, hairs throughout the bathroom, and what appeared to be a towel that had a dirty hand wiped on it. None of the towels were neatly folded which began to make me more suspicious on what was clean and what was used. Service....the front desk wouldn't answer the phone when i called to get wifi access. I'm pretty tolerant of dive-type hotels/motels...as long as the are clean. This one had me so creeped out that i slept in my clothes and didn't take a shower the next day. Would recommend you drive another 15 minutes down Route 1 (and pay an additional $30) to south Aiken to one of the numerous new hotels/chains. you will sleep MUCH better. you get what you paid for. the room is smoky and carpet is dirty, even the bedding does not look very clean. I would not stay here if I could find another better hotel in the close area.Genuine Expedia guest review
Fine stay. Just needs some updates. TV, showerhead, faucets, etc... Good location off the interstate. Office / dining area was smaller than expected. Good food, though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room felt dirty and smelled terrible. The bed was rock hard and I am not sure that the comforter had ever been washed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Days inn Aiken"
Im overall happy with my stay. The tub had a broken plunger, the shower head shot pieces at me and the exhaust fan didn't work.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"No Wi Fi"
No Wi Fi and I told three different front desk clerks and was not offered a change of rooms and one seem to think I was lying. Dirty bed sheets and towels and lights from outside lights keep the room well lit up at night. Cheap but I want stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
AC broke at house and needed a place to stay. This place is pet friendly and proved to be a very comfortable stay. We called in advance and on arrival they checked us in quickly. Room was clean. I would recommend this place to anybody.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
NOT AT ALL SATISFIED, THE HOTEL IS NOT IN GOOD CONDITION, THE ROOM IS DIRTY, SMELLY AND THE SHOWER IN BAD CONDITION, KIND OF OLD HOTELGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right off the highway"
This would be a nice place to stay if the rooms were kept up. The bed didn't have an under-sheet on it; just a comforter and a over-sheet. The ceiling was falling apart. Literally, you could see the drywall peeling away from the ceiling and the shower was all black and mildwey.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very nice for an older hotel"
When staying in an older hotel you never know what you are going to get. We were very surprised by the condition and comfort of this Days Inn. The carpet was new, the jacuzi tub was awesome, the bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. It was a perfect place to stay. I would definitely recommend it. It was right off the interstate and cheaper […] than the Quality Inn. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Day Inn-near I-20"
The Hotel staff was great and polite. The room was cleaned and it was what we expected. The only problem that I had with the room was when we used the jacuzzi a piece of hair came out of the suction area. Overall the jacuzzi was clean just that one thing, but sure how to suggest they keep that from happening in the future.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap but rundown."
The Days Inn, Aiken was the last "inexpensive" hotel with vacancies in proximity to my business meeting, so I grabbed a room. It sits behind an all-night gas station/convenience store right off the interstate. It didn't seem unsafe, just a little rundown. The room itself was pretty shabby with peeling paint, fixtures falling off the walls and signs […] of poor maintenance practices. The bed, however, was comfortable and appeared to be clean. The carpet was stained and dirty, but not much worse than a lot of drive-up hotels I've stayed in. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"OK for truckers"
08/05/14 Neal S Laurinburg
This is an average hotel. Location and the truck parking was the only reason I stayed here. Your choice of food is Hardee's, McDonald's or Waffle House. Couple gas stations near by. Surprisingly comfortable king sized bed.
"Disappointing Days Inn"

Bloodstains on the bed spread. Bugs in the bathroom. Toilet ran and ran after flushing. Reported all to Mgr & no apology no refund. No more Days Inn 4 me!
"Do not waste ur money keep driving."
07/19/14 2011Volt Corpus christi
We made the mistake and stopped here for the night. Driving coast to coast. In Aiken SC there were only 2 hotels off the highway. Do here goes...Non smoking room smelled like cigarets, dirty towels, dirty carpets, clogged bath tub, walls were filthy, bathroom floor was dirty too. Now we did have hot water, ac worked great and internet was good. Next time we just keep driving and do our research.

Customer service was out of this world awesome!!! Thanks Rudy!! Room was clean. Only thing I didn't like was stale smoke smell in room from prior guests in a non-smoking room.

Good value for the money; great location; room was clean, but a little odor even though it was a non-smoking room. Staff were accommodating to requests.

We are business owners who were in Aiken for clean up after the ice storm. We had made reservations ahead of time. When the man got there for the room he was told he did not have a reservation and they hassled him. He had to redo the whole process. This happened two different times. Our project manager learned very quickly that Janet was the only one there that knew what was going on. Janet is the one that makes this place run. We came to check on the crew so learned first hand that the rooms were less than clean. There was roofing debri laying in the pool area and around the property. Other garbage as well. A torn and shattered laundry cart laying in the pool area as well. Not much of a selection for the breakfast. Only one of our crew would eat there. Had to buy breakfast elsewhere. Our credit card was double billed on several occasions. Janet is the one that finally got it straightened out for us. Thank you Janet. I am not sure how much she is paid but should be getting plenty for what she does and what she has to put up with. I was in there asking questions about making future reservations, etc. The owners followed her around as if they did not trust her. It was very concerning for me to see the conditions she has to work in. Janet is a saint!!!!Janet is the only one that knows what is going on. A friendly smile and always very professional and courteous on the phone. When I call there I will call back if she is not there. We have had some of our employees staying there for 10 weeks now except for when we were kicked out for the Masters tournament. Owners seem to be very money oriented. No upkeep of the property.
"horrible for the price"
04/17/14 Sean H Aiken
$500.00 for 2 nights at a below 1 star hotel was just not acceptable. The carpet was moldy, stains in the ceiling from roof leaks, Dirty (burnt) towel on rack. Any other weekend the price would/should have been $50.00 or so but on Masters weekend it was jacked up. If I would have just driven up to the hotel that night and checked in I don't think the price would have been so high but prebooking it for that weekend they just jacked it up. In fact an older couple told us what they paid and it was far less than what we did. We ate at Hardees right next door both mornings as my wife didn't want anything to do with the food there. Wish I could have a redo and NOT book that hotel. For everyone else, DON'T stay at this hotel.
04/13/14 Michael O Aiken
The staff was friendly and accommodating but the room was over priced. $200.00 per night because of the Masters Golf event is price gouging.

When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk girl was asleep in a couch right behind the desk. She woke up so scared that she was kind of lost. She left us there for ever until we were able to finally check in. The bathroom sink was cloged and they pretended to unclog it with the same plunger the had used with the next door's toilet.
"GOOD manager/owner, but..."
03/02/14 Eddie M Aiken, South Carolina
1 one clerk really tried to help me get a guide for the TV (after 2 days of waiting). 2, Quiet room, sort of (at night a bit noisy outside). 3. Refrigerator makes alot of whiny noise, but is drowned out by the AC/heater. 4. Thought my wifi was not working. Got no cooperation from the front desk. 5, Room was clean and pleasant. Lighting nice. Overall for 2 stars it was ok. The manager was super nice and helpful!
