This hotel was excately what we were looking for, centrally located, beautiful area. The staff was great, very helpful, the rooms were quaint and clean. Would recommend anyone looking to visit Seville to stay at this hotel. I would also recommend that you include breakfast with your stay as this was a great value.

I really liked the atmosphere and quaintness of the hotel. The staff was really helpful and professional. I think the hotel could use an update of furniture in the lobby and rooms but still very comfortable and charming. Walking distance to all the Sevilla attractions and great restaurants and bars.

I loved this place -- it had that wonderful combination of location/convenience, historical charm, and a comfortable rooms. The hotel itself could be worth a visit, as you explore the different buildings, the "warren" of interconnecting passages, hidden courtyards, assorted rooftop terraces, and even the underground tunnel. It was in the Barrio Santa […] Cruz, and a 2-3 minute walk from the Alcazar and Cathedral. We also walked (about 15 minutes) to the Torre del Oro, and Place de Espana. The breakfast was great, with a variery of fruits, breads, cereals, eggs, cheeses, and cold cuts (and more!). For lunch, or when returning from those late nights out, the cafe across the street is quite good as well. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and in keeping with the atmosphere of the place, and though some travellers looking for a modern aesthetic may be disappointed, I thought the style worked well. The only downsides might be parking (we walked from the train station, and didn't rent a car) and the spotty wi-fi. But both were minor issues, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place or stay here again, if the opportunity arose Read more

This hotel is extremely charming, but very old. They have done the best that they can in terms of upkeep. I liked that we had a sitting room where our adult children could come in and congregate. The location is perfect - close to the Cathedral and the Alcazar and to restaurants and tapas bars. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Charming hotel with solid, friendly service and rock-hard beds. Most unusual place I have ever stayed because it consists of old dwellings in Seville's old Jewish quarter. Winding passages lead to your room, beautiful fountains, or gardens- you never know exactly where you will end up. Sadly our room (11) was far from being as nice as the surroundings. Musty odor, shabby bathroom (I didn't feel comfortable to take a shower, let alone a bath), dark interior; a pity since there is so much positive to be said about the hotel.

The location and ambiance of this hotel can't be beat. The overall feel is like going back in time, way back. There is just enough wear and tear to lend authenticity, but not shabbiness.The rooms are nice and clean, but the real thrill is wandering around the many hidden courtyards and hallways.The roof top pool is a big bonus.

A big hotel (>100 rooms) that is actually a reconstruction of a whole Jewish neighborhood. That cause a labirinth connections between the the rooms due to the nature of the buildings. The serounding is nice but our we didn't like the room which was very small and narow and very low light. The staff at he reception (1 or two persons for such a big hotel?!) […] was very much under pressure and was not able/knowladgebale enough to help us with questions about evening entaitenment etc... The Hotel was very kind, though, by bringing us the breakfast at 6am to our room because we had to leave early to the train-station. We stayed at Las Casas de la Juderia at the recommendation of two friends and were not disappointed. It's a very unique and charming hotel perfectly located in the heart of Seville's old Jewish quarter within walking distance to all the key sites and with many good tapas bars and restaurants nearby. And to our surprise we found a lovely pool on the […] roof, perfect for a break from the heat in the afternoon (alas there is no beverage service poolside so grab the beers from your mini-bar and take them with you). The rooms are not luxurious but are very comfortable. There is free wi-fi, but it is only in the courtyard lounge and not available in the rooms. We skipped the pricey hotel breakfast and ate on the terrace of the the lovely cafe directly across the street. Read more

Everything was very clean, but the room was very hot (had the AC pumping the whole time and it just didn't get cool) and the bed was very uncomfortable. If you just need a basic place to stay it's fine, but I don't know if I'd go back. The included breakfast was nice. As we were checking out, I don't think the girl at the front desk realized that we […] understood Spanish as she was saying to her co-worker that we are "young" and "stupid". We loved this hotel! The hotel itself is a sightseeing destination. We enjoyed the many courtyards and passageways, and had fun exploring the bottom floor with its Roman mosaics and columns. We were in Seville in the full heat of summer, but we're very comfortable, both in our rooms and in the shady courtyards. The location is terrific.

We loved our stay. The hotel is in a perfect location. Restaurants are at the front door. You can spend hours exploring the many courtyards at the hotel. I wish I knew more about the history of the hotel and that I could see a floor plan of all the buildings. It's fascinating.

The hotel is absolutely charming. The room and patios are gorgeous. The location of the hotel is very favorable - it is very close to the nearby touristic sights. The only problem was the noise coming from the kitchen. Our room was located right on top of it and we constantly heard loud noises well into the night.

Fantastic old hotel in historic Seville right in the best part of town. Beautiful building with many courtyards, rooftop pool, traditional tile, cool hidden stairways, bar (with piano player), and more. Wireless was a little slow, but we spent most of the time walking around the barrio having tapas and sangria. Highly recommended!

this place is very hard to find. it was worth the 20 euros for the valet parking. don't be cheap on this. throw down and let them deal with the car. great breakfast, a real feast.

The hotel was very nice. It is a maze you can easily get lost in but getting back and forth from your room is half the fun. You travel up and down levels, through courtyards and in underground passageways decorated with moorish tiles. The decor is all very moorish with lots of little courtyards to enjoy. We really liked the place and would highly recommend it Even the less expensive rooms were nice. There is not much of a view because of the nature of the high buildings in Seville but not really important. The only drawbacks were the small elevators (which is prevalent throughout Europe) and the lack of wifi in the rooms (but available in the library). Convenience to the Cathedral and Castle and the shopping streets was great. Do NOT take a car to the hotel - take a cab. The streets are insanely small. Read more

My husband and I were both disappointed in our experience at Las Casas de la Juderia. The upkeep of the overall hotel was below par. We found the courtyards to be really beautiful and the location was very good, but I would not stay here for the price again or recommend to a friend. We were told that we had been given a "renovated" room as requested […] but when we got into our room the bedding looked very old and outdated as well as the curtains. There was far too much furniture in the room for such a narrow room and the bathroom was especially uncomfortable. The shower was in the shape of an L and you literally have to stand in one tiny corner of it just to be able to shut the door and turn on the shower. Overall, the positives were beautiful courtyards, great location and it was very quiet. Negatives: dated rooms/decor, tight living space w/ too much furniture (even by Europe standards) and price. This is one of the prettiest hotels we have ever seen, a complex of old houses linked by cobbled passages and lush couryards. The location is fine. If you arrive be car on its narrow front street, pull up on the sidewalk to get out of the traffic, and a porter will take your bags and park the car. The dining room was so overpriced, with US$15 plates […] of soup and US$25 per person for breakfast that we elected to dine out in the town. Our room would have been comfortable enough except that there were only two dim light bulbs in the bedroom, not enough for reading except next to the one table lamp furnished. When we left the porter neglected to load one of our suitcases, and we neglected to count them. We had to have the left luggage sent to our next city by courier. We share the blame with the porter, but he is the paid professional, and he failed to do his job. The hotel did not offer to pay for the courier. Read more

The hotel is very charming and quite suited to the city of Seville. We had wanted a place with alot of flavor of the city. That said, that is the highlight of our experience. We arrived to a very rude welcome by the gentlemen at the front desk. Not helpful and did not answer our questions or our request for a map. The room, on looks, was very pretty, […] however, the space in front of the toilet was non-existent. My husband could not sit down on the seat and myself (short), my face was plastered against the wall if I needed to sit down on the toilet. Bathroom was clean, but there was the presence of some ants. Next, our shower flooded and it took them a day to fix it, and when they did the entire room smelled like sewer gas. We only had one evening left so we decided to just live with it. Woke up the next morning to a cockroach that was 2 inches long walking across our bedroom floor! Lastly, the pool was refreshing as the heat was at 100 degrees during our stay. Not enough chairs for everyone, made lounging difficult and not very relaxing. Breakfast was fine. If you are looking for a typical sleek modern four star city hotel, this place if not for you. But if you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable unique hotel that fits in completely with the ancient surroundings of the old Jewish quarter of Seville it is. Rooms are centered around a three story courtyard […] filled with potted pants, fountains and sculputure, like a combination of the best patios of the city of Cordoba. There is a piano bar with lots of cushy furniture, oriental carpets, and art work. Our bathroom was very nice, though, the jacuzzi tub was a tight squeeze for me, who stands 5'4" on a good day. The air conditioning duct was over the bathroom door which was at the other end of our rectangular 10 x 20' room from the bed. I got a big mosquito bite for a mosquito that flew in from one of our two courtyard windows the first night. And we couldn't figure out that to call room service, one must dial 609 (there is no information on the hotel in the room). Still this place has so much character, is so well located (the cafe across the street featured a Cuban style group of musicians that had us all singing and dancing one night) and is so welcoming that I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. I was so disappointed with this hotel based on all the reviews I read before booking. There are definitely some great things about it. The location is super convenient for seeing all the popular sites in Seville, and the character of hotel, with it's courtyards and walkways, certainly makes it unique. But this isn't much consolation when the the room […] basics are poor. First the air conditioning didn't work, and in Seville with day time temperatures in the 90's, this is important! We asked maintenance to look at it every day and they said they did but still it didn't work. Second the quality of the room itself. For a 4 star hotel I have certain expectations about the fit and finish of the room. Unfortunately I felt I was in a 1 star with chipped furniture and wall finishings with stains. I figured that as all the reviews had been so good about this hotel that there must be a difference in the rooms so I asked to move rooms but they were unable to accomodate me with a better room.
