"Great Highway Site"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
This highway property is at a Motorway Gas Stop just outside of Warwick. We found our executive Double Room very comfortable, It was spacious and the bath was super. For a fast food dinner and breakfast we went next door to the food court where there was a KFC, Burger King, 2 other and mini-market plus Starbucks. The next morning we were on our way. Interent and Free Parking made it even better.

"Nice stay"Reviewed by Chelsea A of "San Francisco, CA" on Apr 12, 2012
The hotel is very centrally located and has a car park (that you have to pay to park in). Wifi is available, you also pay for that. The lobby is very nice with multiple fireplaces where you can have drinks, dine, or enjoy afternoon day (prices seemed reasonable to us). Very short walk to RSC theatres, restaurants, shops, etc. The room was huge that we stayed in, not sure if that is typical, but it was nice. No complaints except they didn't really tell us we needed to pay for parking. The parking cost wasn't bad though.
"Ibis Birmingham Airport"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Mar 30, 2012
For those travelling to attend NEC, this is the best located hotel for you. With a good restaurant, bar in hotel and 24 hrs restaurant in the Airport, nothing like Ibis. Good luck..
"A beautiful getaway in a beautiful location."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Mar 28, 2012
It was a beautiful setting, a great photo opportunity, a fantastic back yard to enjoy an English tea, and nice modern rooms. All the staff were so nice. We had a great experience sleeping in a castle and hope to return some time.

"Great location and great service in Birmingham"
We arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon. We were glad of the hotel parking and it was good value at just £10 for an overnight stay. The staff were very friendly and gave us a street map and explained where all the night life was. The room was clean and airy and well presented. The breakfast was also excellent.

"a hotel with warmth and a friendly welcome"
Just a quick recview to say that our two night stay at The Marriott, Birmingham was warm, friendly, comfortable and just what we were looking for. The price was a bonus given a 20% winter discount which tended to swing it slightly but was not reflected by 20% less overall rating at all. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a larger than life […] character Consierge named Des who could not do enough to help. Every Hotel should have a 'Des' in my opinion. We had a heavy snowfall that weekend and like fools had booked a restaurant on the Saturday evening. Des stood outside in the snow blizzard to hail down the taxi.....what a star. Because of the weather we did consider eating at the hotel restaurant but to be honest, although it was clean and functional looking it didn't inspire as the best place to eat out on a Saturday evening given the massive choice elsewhere on your doorstep. That is the only real negative feedback I would give the hotel. Read more

"Marriot Birmingham"
A very good hotel on the edge of the city centre easily reach from the motorway. Car parking was adequate and not tooo expensive. Room was comfortable and clean and the staff were attentive and able to answer any of our questions. The bar/restaurant were very comfortable although they seemed to struggle to produce a cold glasss of white wine!! Did not […] eat at the place so cannot comment otherwise satisfied. "Not as good as other Marriott's"
With Marriott you of course expect a certain standard, but this one falls a little below what you expect. The staff are excellent and make up for the short-commings of the hotel. However the Hotel istself is a little tired...the rooms are very small compared to most Marriotts...and the location is OK ish.as being close to the clubs and pubs you will […] always get some people who are not so nice nearby. Finally, it's good to have a smimming pool but the size of the pool is a little over the size of a big bath...this hotel sits in the OK catagory..not he Great catagory. Read more
Good clean hotel a short walk from main bars etc. Car park was a little busy but got in ok. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely use this hotel again. Late check out time of 12 is a bonus if going out drinking!!! Hotel bar is very nice anda good place to start your evening.

"Marriott at Five Ways Birmingham"
A very comfortable and pleasant weekend stay. Staff are friendly and helpful, room was comfortable, quiet and up to date. Good breakfasts. Hotel is very convenient for transport links with Five Ways rail station close by, and for all motorway links. Centre of town is about a ten minute walk.
"Mariott - Birmingham"
Just outside city centre so about 15 minutes walk to Bullring , 10 mins to Broad Street and NIA / ICC and other sights like Sea-Life etc. Overnight parking rates at £10 very reasonable. Staff extremely helpfull Will consider a return visit.
"Good business hotel"
Comfortable room with large bed. No complaints as such but these large chains could learn a thing or two from places like the Hoxton in London who have really worked out what a person wants and where things needs to be.

"Marriott Birmingham"
We stayed at the Marriott in Birmingham as we were attending a concert at the NIA. We got a reasonable rate for the room. The room was clean and comfortable with tea making facilities. The bathroom was large and the shower easy to use unlike some hotel showers. The only downside for me was there was no shaving mirror which i find useful for putting […] in contact lens. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on the food. The bar was pleasant and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would use again. Read more
"The Marriott Hotel Birmingham"
I recently went to stay in the Marriott with my parents, husband and 10 year old daughter. From check in to check out everything was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is perfectly situated for shopping and/or touring. One thing to note, if they ask […] you would you like a daily newspaper, you will have to pay for it on check out. Read more

"Kanonläge i Birmingham!"
