This was the third hotel that we have used in Como and was by far and away the best of the three. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice view of the lake. The staff were efficient and courteous. Breakfast was fine. The location is handy for everything.

The hotel was in a great location directly overlooking the Como harbour. At the time that my wife and I visited Como there was a musical festival touring the lakes area. The stage for the performances was erected directly in front of the hotel on the Como main square. We were not aware that it was going to be there before we booked. For three of the nights we enjoyed three super nights of live music ranging from jazz to folk to rock, lasting until midnight (ish). The fourth night was a matter of taste (punky type of rock, not to our liking) and that seemed like an endless night of noise which we were pleased to hear the end of at 1145pm. However, for us the overall experience was brilliant, but some people may have found the loud music in their rooms a nuisance. The hotel was very clean, with very friendly staff. The hotel restaurant was a little pricey and the wait for the food seemed to take a while, but when it arrived my beef fillet stake was cooked to perfection, nice meal. Car Parking was initially confusing. We had driven to Como and the hotel itself did not have its own garage. Instead, for 15 euros a day the car was parked at a nearby hotel by arrangement through our own hotel, and only a couple of minutes walk away. Not a problem, but the road system in Como was somewhat confusing, and trying to reach that car park was to say the least, initially frazzling. In summary, we would definately recommend this hotel and would stay there again the next time we visit Como.

The hotel was not to the standard we expected from a 4 star hotel. IN fact the only 4 star experience we had was when we paid for the room. The breakfast was basic and the food did not appear to be replenished. The location was good.

This hotel is basically right on the lake (Lake Como), so it's perfect for jumping on a ferry boat to the best town (Bellagio). I read that Como was an industrial town, but I found it to much more commercial - good shopping & restaurants - all within walking distance from the hotel, too.

The hotel is located near the lake which is very convenient. Quality of the room is good, service in general is alright. However, the quality of breakfast is not as good as a 4 star hotel, also with poor service.

Room a bit cramped but very clean and the decoration could do with a refresh. Breakfast was poor. Scrambled eggs and bacon were tasteless and the remaining buffet limited. However that was the only minus point as the hotel is in a wonderful postion fronting the main square which in turn is adjacent to Lake Como. Spectacular scenary from our 5th floor balcony. Ideally placed for train, boat and bus connections.

Hotel is in the main tourist square with view of Lake Como but is set a little back from the noise. I asked to move from my first room because there was a connecting door with the adjacent room and I could hear every word being said by my neigbors. Also, although smoking was only permitted on the balcony the smoke from next door was coming into my room. They moved me to another room without any trouble and it was much quieter. Very nice breakfast.

Hotel has a fantastic location and lake view but it is very tired and our room was damp. Breakfast was just ok. Reception staff were excellent and very helpful. I hope they spend some serious money on the place very soon.

Location was ideal, staff helpful and room and facilities comfortable. The bathroom was very large and well fitted out with a jacuzzi bath and good quality toiletries. The bar and food prices are very expensive so although it is nice to sit in the bar area it is better value to go elsewhere.

The hotel is situated right on the edge of Lake Como, perfectly placed for exploring the area. The rooms are a little dated, but very clean. Loads of bars, cafes and restaurants within 2 minute walk. Drinks in the hotel bar, although you would normally expect to pay more, they are extortianate!

Good location if you want to be in the town of Como. Not a walk from the train station with luggage.Clean but small room and very expensive for what you get.

I recommend this hotel for your stay in Como. It is located on the lake and very close to the store fronts and the historical area. Safe and friendly, wonderful staff, very helpful. A bit pricey but worth the money.

The hotel has an excellent location right on the main square and the lake, close to everything. The room was clean and the hotel staff helpful. The hotel is moderately furnished and good for the budget traveler. I paid extra for a lake view but found it to be noisy in the late evening with people outside.

Das Personal war unbedingt aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Das gilt für Rezeption, Bedienung und Zimmerservice.

God service, vennlig personale i både resepsjon og restaurant/bar. Rommene var ok (skloite seg ikke positivt fra 3-stjerners) med herlig balkong med utsikt over Comosjøen - balkongen og utsikten var verd hever krone for oppgraderingen.

kein Parkplatz - muß im 150m entfernten Grandhotel für 15 E pro Tag extra bezhalt werden. Zimmer nach vorne mit Seeblick während der Nacht unerträglich laut und teurer!!!

Hotel is zeer goed gelegen in Como, alles was dichtbij, oa aanlegsteigers voor de rondvaart met de boot, winkels, het meer, restaurants, parking dichtbij (maar wel betalend)

Positives: The view from the balcony was superb, and the ferry stop was only 50 yards from the hotel entrance. Negative: There's a road and a bus stop right in front of the hotel. We woke up several times during the night and early morning due to the traffic noise. In the end we bought ear plugs.

L'albergo è in una ottima posizione: molto vicino sia al lago che al centro Storico nonchè poco distamnte dalla Stazione. Il personale di accoglienza è gentile, la camrea accogliente e pulita. La colazione è buona. per il livello dell'albergo potrebbe essere un pò migliorata nella varieta da una giorno all'altro. Per il livello di albergo la hall utilizzata anche come bar pare insufficiente

ottima localizzazione ed il rapporto qualità\prezzo

hotel ottimo per chi ama il relax ,vicino al lago, raggiungibile facilmente nella centralissima piazza cavour, si consiglia stanza difronte al lago per un panorama senza paragoni,
