My view is skewed by the horrible weekend I had while in New Orleans so this review is a bit negative. This hotel is a solid two star and has very little chance of becoming more than that. Room was full of trash when we got to it, we had to call them when we go to it, to clean it. They then asked if it was out trash even though I had checked in less than 10 minutes prior to asking. Hotel was I guess what I paid for, cheap.

The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. I don't know where those pictures came from but it is NOT this place. The hotel has all kinds of crap laying around the premises like boards and buckets. The rooms were OK, but were very old and had stained bathtubs and sinks. Carpet and floorboards were dirty. Rooms are very small. Shower would fluctuate between […] hot and cold, and scald us. Staff was rude, brief, and careless. I had to call 4 times to confirm my reservation before hand. Each time they couldn't find record of my reservation, and I had to wait on hold while they got their manager??? The first night was more than I could handle, so I cancelled with hotels.com and went to a great place nearby called "Days Hotel" which was where we ended up staying afterwards. Days was pretty reasonable, it's like what you would expect witha cheap hotel. Cancelling with Travell In Plaza was an absolute nightmare, I had to spend 2 hours on the phone to get it done. People... this hotel is the WORST I have stayed in. I have stayed in motel 6's and many roadside inns and this is THE WORST experience I have had. I couldn't beleive what I was seeing. get a hotel that isn't ghetto trash. avoid this place, it is NOT WORTH THE $5 difference from nearby hotels. Read more

nothing fancy, sorta beat on the outside but the room was clean. walls are thin so i could hear someone snoring in the next room and in the morning could hear them talking, but i needed a place to stay and this is very conveniently located close to the airport. it's a 2-star motel but the owners do their best.

This is exactly the place you stay at when you just need a cheap place to crash for a night. No frills, no extras and the like. It was clean but needed maintenance. From the carpet to the bath tub faucets. Everything worked but were leaky. A/C worked great but heat was lacking and I like it warm. The room was freezing and I couldn't take it so I called […] the front desk and the attendent was courteous and gave me another room. That is what made the stay good. I did not need much and they took care of it. I have had my share of much nicer accommodations and not as pleaseant staff. When you don't need much and want a cheap stay, this is the place for you. On the other hand if you need all the bells and whistles then you better stick with the high priced hotels on the strip. Read more

The room was dirty. Even though the hotel is within walking distance to the riverwalk and Alamo, you probably don't want to walk through the surrounding neighborhoods to get there. Take a bus or cab. I had to go to the local library to gain internet access.

This place reminds me of where old motels go to die. It's not a great place. The plumbing is old and the neighborhood is not very good although there is a nice pool. It is near some decent places to eat. Overall, I would suggest you find someplace else.

Excellent value for a base of operations. Not a place to b pampered but more than adequate for the budget minded traveler. Convenient to tourist spots, friendly staff, sufficeint amenities.

Access to Louis Armstrong Airport and price were the best features. Shady neighborhood, bad bathroom, and the AC was off when I got there so the room was really hot. If you just need a cheap bed for the night before flying out in the morning then this hotel is worth it.

Less than five miles from the airport so convenient and in the past must've been nice, lovely pool with palms and a courtyard. But not the cleanest to say the least. Phone did not work. Still for the price and convenient location I had no real complaints.

The motel is REALLY run down. Water stains on the carpet, holes in the bathtub, a lobby that smelled like something died there. And top it off, the hot water didn't work the first night we were there. I'm not usually picky about where I sleep, but this place is pretty bad. But it was cheap.

Adults […] and small children talking, yelling and drinking around the pool until midnight. What appeared to be a domestic dispute unfolding at 4am. At first they gave me a room which was already occupied and they politely switched my room. It's right across the street from the Saints practice facility and the Zephyr field. I wouldn't want to stay there for leisure because people actually live there and it's pretty obvious.

Overall we were positivly surprised about the hotel. It was easy to find and was pretty clean -we had plenty of towels. It had thin walls so you could hear some noise from the other guests. Furthermore it was located a bit far from the latin quarter -the taxi fare was about $ 22, but busses stopped right outside the motel.

I was disappointed by the hotel. Water facucett was dripping. I heard the noises from next door at night time. No body cleaned the room during day. Bath tub sucked. Multiple stains on bed sheets, towels and carpet.
