I was surprised to see there was visible tv. There was one, but it was only for listening. I was shocked to see that.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
A great little hotel for the price. The staff was friendly, the rooms small but clean, and the beds comfortable. It was an easy walk to the convention center as well as many of downtown Seattle's attractions. The only negative is that the rooms are quite small, so I would not book this hotel if you are traveling with more than two people. I would stay […] here again. "cozy downtown spot"
the hotel is recently remodeled and the rooms are nice. I had a queen size bed and it took up 75 percent of the room. No desk, just a chair. The old ac unit was not good in my room so it was kind of stuffy, not sure if any other rooms had a more updated system.Genuine Expedia guest review
"small but nice location"
We stayed for 5days this March. nice location to travel and enjoy Seattle. good hotel except small room, no freezerGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel is build in 1928, almost 100 years. the room is very small, like the hotel in Japan. The basien is really tinnyl. with diameters less than 20cm. One thing I have to mention is that the trim is not pressure balance valve.Genuine Expedia guest review
"So-So Facility, Great Staff"
Bathrooms are very tiny. As a 6' tall guy I did not fit on the facilities with out turning 45 degrees. Room was extremely small (Smaller than our spare bedroom at home). Room seemed a bit run down, water stains on the ceiling, and room was always 75+ degrees (window only opened about two inches and there was no air flow from it) and the air conditioning […] was turned off (somewhat understandable as it was March). The staff was great on our interactions, the door man seem to have an arrangement with certain drivers (I don't want to call them taxi drivers as they were more town car type). Price was ok, little more than I would have like to pay for a hotel in this condition. Lobby was beautiful. Everything else seemed run down. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Not bad for the price."
Older building with some of the associated issues: small elevators, narrow hallways, & smaller rooms. The room was clean and sufficient for a place to sleep and get ready for a day around town. It is close to all tourist locations and allows you to park a vehicle securely while hoofing it aroundGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good business hotel."
No frills, but clean and staff is on top of it. My bathroom ceiling started to leak and they gave me another room immediately. Small rooms, but that was OK. Just what you need when you're working long days and just want to crash somewhere reasonable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Ok, if you just want to sleep here. .."
Bathroom was just recently renovated. Was on. The location is probably the best of this hotel. Room itself was small, eg no hooks for your clothes, no place to put your wet raincost. Just a few drawers for your clothes ... that's ok if you just want to sleep here but not great if you need to spend more time at the hotel such as in the evening....Genuine Expedia guest review
"Central location pay in advance"
Location is great for the money. Rooms are so so in terms of being up to date but are really clean. Hotel staff = supe helpful. If you use expedia to reserve be sure to click the option to pay now rather than later. My original rate was supposed to be $140/night however my card was charged $180 becaus I selected the option to pay later at the rate of […] the night I checked in rather than te rate when I made the reservation. "great location, excellent valet service people"
Our toilet was broken, leaking water from the back pipe. We used all our towels to stop the water. They fixed it, but didn't give us any new towels, hand towels, or anything. We had to ask and wait, and then they only brought two actual towels. We again had to ask and wait for the rest. The heater didn't work, at 7:30 in the morning the maid service […] was doing something with bottles outside our door. I asked the front desk to get me a taxi and he pointed outside and said there is usually one around. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen-and I have been all over Europe. You cannot reach the shower faucet unless you are in the shower. There are only 2 plugs in the entire room that worked. For everything, including the coffee maker, your phones, the clock, etc. TV kept having glitches. But, the location was Perfect. The bed was perfect. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Great location right next to the central library. Staff very helpful. Wireless internet very unreliable. Could not get a consistent signal, had to call IT hotline, which was no help at allGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a great stay and the staff is great and location is fine....functionality wise. Pleasure wise, not for a romantic or family time. No space to turn around. Could hardly fit on mini commode. Older place. We recommend with caution.Genuine Expedia guest review
"needs better internet!"
For a business hotel, it's important to have good wireless connections. They have wireless, but neither I or any of my colleagues got good enough connectivity to do work via the internet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is in a good location. Easy to get to most tourist sites. The room need to be upgrade a little bit. The windoor in our room was broken and hard to open. The water for shower was weak. But the stuff are really friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Do not stay here!"
No air-conditioning so the room was sooooo hot, didn't stop sweating the entire time we were in the room. the room was SO small and so was the bathroom. and parking was almost $50 if you didn't ask them for a discount. way too expensive of a hotel for the horrible quality.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING"
DISGUSTING PLACE, DIRTY, CRAMPED AND COMFORTERS HAVE STAINS ON THEM. i DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYBODY.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"So very small"
I wish when they remodeled that they would have updated furniture and found multi-purpose items for the tiny rooms (like a desk chest combo). And the room was unbearably warm but you don't have enough light to see the controls. And it would only heat, not cool, and it made horrible noise. Large people would be unable to sit on the toilet in this room […] layout. Again, perhaps they should have thought about making it more like the head of a boat! "Cool hotel downtown"
The hotel, overall, was very nice. I wish I knew the parking situation better from Expedia's "blind buy" unadvertised sales, but that isn't really the hotels fault. Basically, if you want to park in the garage behind it, it's going to cost you $30 a day, minimum. Luckily downtown street parking is free after 8 on Saturdays and all day Sundays, so it […] didn't really come up for us. The hotel's air conditioning is only on in the summers, and its heat is only on in the winters, do to it being an historic building. We weren't able to keep the window open, though the staff helpfully suggested putting one of the coffee mugs in the sill to act as a wedge. The room was very nice, though the aspect ratio on the TV was off on some channels and we weren't able to adjust it. These are quibbles, though. We had a good time there, and would probably go again. "Tired, worn, and broken."
Pleasant staff, good location for my stay. Hotel overall has much wear, so much so that the "retro" feel is lost. Small rooms, smaller bathroom. Tight would be accurate. My desk chair was broken, tilted sideway no matter how I sat in it. I was on the 8th floor, room was very hot, window was jammed shut so no relief was possible. Other than that it was […] fine. I think I lost a couple of pounds in the heat, so there was an up side. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Remodeled rooms are modest in size but have all the ammenities except for snack bar. Hotel does not have restaurant, but nearby restaurants deliver good food at a reasonable price. A short walk to convention center and Pike street market.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small but Clean"
Our room was incredibly tiny. It was just big enough for a bed, a chair, and a dresser. (No desk!) We were tripping over our luggage because there wasn't a good place to store it. The internet was really sketchy, too -- my laptop and my husband's tablet both had a hard time maintaining a connection for more than a few minutes, especially in the evening. […] The bathroom had just been remodeled, though, and the bathtub was really deep -- perfect for relaxing after a long day at a conference. The staff were kind and helpful, and the gelato bar in the lobby was amazing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect Downtown Location"
The hotel is two blocks from Light Link Rail which runs directly to the baseball and football stadiums as well as the airport. It is four blocks to the Sound and Pike's Place Market. Purple, a wine and cheese bar is two blocks away. Belle Epicurean is a French Patisserie that offers breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and coffee, and is a block away. Also, […] it's less than a ten-minute walk to the convention center. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They accommodated me when my flight was cancelled due to weather and helped me with my bags and transportation for an early morning flight. Though the hotel is a bit old, it is well-maintained and clearly the staff takes pride in their work and their company. Also, the managing staff holds a wine reception from 5-6pm each evening. I'm very happy my husband and I stayed here and will return. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Small room, excellent service"
I had read that the rooms were small, so I was prepared. The hotel is old (built in 1928) and it feels pretty early-twentieth-century, with its hexagonal black-and-white-tile bathroom floor and multiple dim lamps, but it's immaculately clean and perfectly adequate if you don't have a huge family and don't need to spread out. I can't speak highly enough […] of the staff, who answered all my questions cheerfully and well. It's within walking distance of everything you need downtown; parking is close by; the Seattle Library, an architectural marvel, is right across the street. Yes! come to the Executive Pacific! "Tries hard, especially the Great staff"
Good location, a bit of a challenge for parking. I wonder how folks get to the front desk if they are not able to climb stairs, as it seem to be in the spot between mezzanine/ and ground floors. Great staff, very helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent location, budget friendly"
I was attending a conference based at another hotel a few blocks away, which was booked solid. What with the conference and sightseeing I was only using the room to sleep, but it was clean and comfortable, had many cable tv choices, free Wi-Fi, nice toiletries, free apples... Many of the top attractions are within easy walking distance. The desk clerk […] was polite and printed me out a bus route to the Burke Museum when I stopped by to ask how to get there by bus. I would point out to any travelers with mobility challenges that you do have to go down a few stairs from the reception desk to get to the elevator. Some would find the room small, but I was traveling alone and it was perfectly fine for my needs. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good deal and a convenient location."
The staff were friendly and flexible with check in and check out times. Room was small, especially the bathroom, but everything was clean and in good condition. It is a short walk to convention center. Overall, I would definitely use it again if I was in town on business.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Middle of the city, across from Seattle's library."
This is an older establishment that has made the effort to be quite presentable. The desk staff is friendly and professional. Our room had only a king bed, but still felt spacious, and even though it was in the rear, the adjacent building is low-rise, so it didn't feel claustrophobic, as some can (was on the 7th Fl). The bathroom is small but well-appointed, […] and has many designer's touches. The wi-fi was solid, and the flat screen TV satisfactory (although someone had set it to turn on at 6am (not good). Downstairs is a boutique coffee shop serving a tasty version of Seattle's favorite elixir, with a nice selection of pastries, and ice cream; and adult beverages, if it is the right time of your day. Having the City's main library so close would have been so great, except that we were there on a holiday weekend. The location is central, within a walk of most anything you could seek downtown, but have sturdy footwear, the hills are a minor challenge. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The location is what I liked the most. walking distance to all the places I wanted to visit during my stay or just two blocks from where to take public transportation. The hotel in general was great. Room was comfy and clean. restroom a bit tight but good enough for the long weekend. We only had a problem with the sink but not too critical that we forgot […] to mentioned it when we checked out. The concierge was very helpful giving us directions and recommendations. I will definitely consider this hotel for my next visit. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"OK, but not worth the price."
The hotel is badly dated, wall air units that smell and no air conditioning until summer. Room smelled soured and tube tv with challenged picture. Staff is nice and convenience of a coffee shop downstairs. Your satisfaction will depend on your expectations; priced high like a premium hotel, nicer that a low budget chain, but I have stayed in La Quintas […] that were nicer have the price. However the room was clean, the bed and sheets were clean, and the hotel was quiet. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The location was perfect and the staff was friendly. The hotel? Ehh...For starters, there was no fridge in the room like the list of amenities said there would be. The room was tiny (maybe 1-2 feet wider than the length of the bed). The TV was to the side of the bed and the cable only worked about 75% of the time. The bathroom was also tiny. They had […] just remodeled it and it had a nice standup shower in it. But it was odd because there was only 1/2 of a door, which meant there was water all over everywhere when I showered. Also, there are no shelves or racks in the shower, so you have to put your shampoo, etc on the floor (???). The walls are paper thin. I woke up multiple times in the middle of the night convinced someone walked into my room only to find out it was my neighbor talking in his room. I would only stay here again if everything else in downtown was booked or double the price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Old in the tooth"
This hotel location is quite convenient to be in downtown without the expense of the larger branded hotels, but there are a few quirks that come with it. They have a porter which helps but from the door/front desk you have to up or down stairs to get to the elevator. I was there during the Super Bowl parade and the temps were freezing. Some hall windows […] were left open because of the parade and it was very cold. I mentioned to the staff, but no one ever closed them. I tried but they would not close. My room windows had a similar draft and would not close 100%. these temps are rare in Seattle however! The rooms were on the small side. For a business traveler not spending time int he room, not an issue. But an extended stay here would not be a desirable option. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but you are downtown so there are numerous options. There is a coffee shop that is quite busy in the AM with commuters as well as hotel guests. "Watch out for those elevators!"
The rooms are super small. The building is about 100 years old. You have to hold down the elevator button to get to your floor. A sign in the elevator would be nice because when the elevator didn't move after pressing the button a few times panic set in. I did NOT want to be stuck in there after partying hard in Seattle. It's hard to sit on the toilet […] with the lid pushing on your back. The headboard on the bed was freakin' annoying cause it kept creeeeking everytime we moved. The staff was nice. They even have a free wine hour. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Pros: great price for the downtown location, clean & comfortable, friendly staff. Cons: while big enough for me, my queen-bed room would be a tight squeeze for two. Hall carpet was looking elderly. Exercise room was small, though good enough for me with a treadmill, elliptical, and bike.Genuine Expedia guest review
Only downside of this hotel is that the toilet is on a sensor and flushes everytime you are in the restroom... to go take a shower, to brush your teeth, etc. The staff are very personable. Overall give this a 5/5.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Just let me hang my towel up, please"
The bed was comfy. There was no place for my suitcase except the ottoman, and so that blocked access to the chair. It was impossible to sit facing forward on the toilet because the toilet was right against the cabinet and there was no room for my knees anyway. There was no place to put anything in the bathroom except a tiny shelf over the toilet. Things […] fell in. THere was no towel bar, only a pile of towels on a very high rack in the shower. The shower didn't drain, so it overflowed onto the floor. I used my towel to hlep sop it up, which was the only thing to do with the towel because there was no bar or hook anywhere. If it were even a third less on the price, it wouldn't bother me as much. But it wasn't that cheap. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
