"Staying at the hotel from hell"
Small room, air conditioning did not work/worked poorly. Bathroom a joke. Parking way to expensive. Once I read the reviews I wanted to cancel, could not because of your 40% off deal. Staff tries to make up for building deficiencies. Should never be rated as 2 1/2 or 3 stars. Experience so bad we can now start to laugh about it. I will never try your […] 40% off deal again. "Cozy but tough to work"
I wish someone had told me that the Executive Hotel Pacific was in renovation. It is a cute, very comfortable place, in a great location, and I will stay there again when they're finished with the renovations, but not until then. One elevator was closed off, the other is VERY slow and full at peak times, so I had to haul my suitcase down four flights […] of stairs and then wheel it in from the alley, to discover that half the people in the elevator were actually working on the building. Coming from the hospitality business in an earlier part of my life, that doesn't make sense. The fitness room was closed, which I hadn't anticipated. Just letting people know about that would be great. It's also tough to do much work in the room--there is no desk, so papers have to be on the bedside table and I worked with my laptop on my desk. That works for a bit, but it feels oddly like working on a plane. Overall, I thought it was quite comfortable for one person, and will stay there again, but not until renovation is finished. "Great Value for the Location"
great center city location; friendly and helpful staff; great value for the location; small room and microscopic bathroom; one of two elevators out of serviceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"location was the best we can say."
The front desk could have been more accommodating and apologetic about the construction UNDER our room. The price seemed good until you added the cost of parking for which there was no consideration. The front desk was not very cordial or smiling. However, Stanley, our bellhop/concierge, was friendly and helpful in directing us places where we wanted […] to go and places where he thought we would enjoy. Thank you, Stanley. "Not my first choice, but a good choice"
The location is at the heart of Seattle's financial district. You have close connections to the light rail link (University Street station), which means that you have a pretty convenient way of getting to and from the Seattle-Tacoma airport. The surroundings are beautiful. My room had a view to the Seattle's Public Library. There are many cafés and […] restaurants in the surroundings. The room was clean. The bed linen was good, and the towels too. There's a safe box in the room. That's pretty convenient. Something important that is missing from the whole hotel is a good place to work. There is no desk in the room, and the business center is extremely small (three places, two of them used by desktop computers). Anyway, the business center has a printer, which is very convenient. Also, the WiFi works everywhere in the hotel and the connection is good. That's a good point. The cleaning service was OK. Sometimes they left things in a somewhat disordered state, but always clean. So, my recommendation is that you can count on this hotel as a second but fair option if you come to Seattle for work reasons. It's not a first-line option because it lacks desks. "Hotel in the center of Seattle"
If you're looking for a hotel close to the conference center or anywhere near the business district of Seattle, this may be worth it. The staff was very friendly and there are a lot things within walking distance like Pikes Place, shopping, and the Conference Center. Public transportation is great too. I stayed at this hotel for a conference and while […] the staff was great my room was kind of gross. There was a used razor blade head in the corner of the room near the side chair. There was also something in the trash can in the bathroom and the top to a styling product under the vanity in the bathroom. I enjoyed the daily wine happy hour where it was easy to connect with other guests and hotel staff. I was disappointed that only one elevator was running however I believe it was in the process of being updated. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Location! Nice hotel."
I was there for 3 nights, this in in a great location. The hotel is comfortable, and had all necessary amenities. The only negative thing I have to say is that the walls to the room were paper thin. We could hear conversations in the next room very clearly. I didn't spend much time in the room so it wasnt too bad.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I selected this hotel because of price--but the discount was NOT enough. To say the room was tiny is an understatement. Closet would fit only 1 suitcase, so 2nd guest belongings pretty much on floor. Too few electrical outlets--made fewer by hotel running EXTENSION cords to power lamps, etc. Had to charge phone, ipad on outlet in bathroom--on top of […] toilet lid! Toilet so small, trash can was hidden inside tiny vanity, Had to sit at an angle on the toilet because knees didn't fit in the space provided. They had ONE working elevator, no restaurant, and parking fees were way too high. Only good thing about the place is it's downtown location relative to tourist attractions. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Horrible experience, not worth any savings"
The parking fee is insane. The wifi kept getting disconnected. The restroom was a complete joke!! The handle flushed the toilet everytime you raised the seat! Ive seen hotels in Mexico in poor areas offer better experiences.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Parking is a consideration"
It wasn't clear when booking through Hotels.com that parking is valet only. We were simply told the price per night. We parked in the adjacent garage as it appeared that was the parking for Executive Pacific Hotel. Instead, to exit the garage we had to haul our substantial luggage down a flight of stairs and round to the other side of the block to make […] it to the entrance of the hotel. We were exhausted. Just know this is valet parking only and traffic around the hotel is complete gridlock. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Dirty, smelly, cramped, dark"
Not a good experience. Will not recommend this hotel. Filthy room and bathroom. Stained, foul smelling carpet, dirty walls.Genuine Expedia guest review
Overall we had a pleasant stay. It's an older hotel but with recent updates. The room was small but it had all the amenities I would expect in a quality hotel. The staff was helpful and professional. However, we left some personal items in our room and have contacted the hotel to see if they were turned in to lost & found. Unfortunately the lost & found […] staff haven't contacted us for two days despite our leaving multiple messages. I guess after you've paid your bill the courtesy is over. The hotel was conveniently located and made seeing Seattle easy. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was a bit too small, not enough electrical outlets, and could use some updating. Viewing the tv was difficult as it was set on a dresser and you had to keep your head turned to view it.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel downtown"
This place was very nice. The people were very respectful. It was quiet and plush but the room was tiny and the carpets looked old. I would definitely stay here again. The elevator was slow but because I read about it in another review I just gave myself extra time. The view was a garage and building but I didn't require a view.Genuine Expedia guest review

"tiny room, great location"
bathroom had been recently updated (super modern) but rest of the room needed some attention. The room and bathroom were both quite small (it was difficult to even get behind the door in the bathroom to close it), and I could barely squeeze past the space between the cabinet/fridge and the bed to get to the window. No room service or breakfast, but […] there is a cafe adjoining the lobby. Customer service at the desk was not impressive - waited for at least 10 minutes watching two staff work on some kind of problem without them even recognizing that we were standing there waiting to check in. On the plus side, easy walk from LINK train, short distance to Pikes Market, and I had a nice breakfast at the Hotel Monaco across the street. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"1st Seattle Stay"
We picked the hotel due to its price and location. When we arrived the 1st room was unsatisfactory. The housekeeper tried to hide the mildew odor with a room air freshener; the attempt failed. Admittedly the hotel was mature. Very mature; like really old. Except for the lobby rugs all the rugs in the rest of the hotel needed replacement. They were soiled […] and stained to the point where cleaning, even deep steam cleaning, would have been pointless. There were only two elevators. One was "down for repairs" hour entire eight day stay. Guests and housekeeping staff shared the one working elevator. A wait of ten minutes for an elevator was not uncommon. The staff went out of their way to accommodate their guests. The staff really tried to overcome the attendant problems associated with a building as old as Executive Hotel Pacific. "Old, Dirty, and run-down"
For $200 (with taxes) I expected at least Holiday Inn Quality. This place was old, worn and just plain dirty. In it's hay day it might have been the talk of the town, but that was nearly 100 years ago. Parking was another $37. As much as downtown Seattle might be inviting, find another place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Much Cheaper Alternative to Its Neighbors"
The troubles with a single elevator are well-documented, but honestly my family and I never waited more than a few minutes for it. Try to avoid taking it during check-in or check-out time. I took the stairs once and ended up in an alley behind the hotel (so maybe not the best idea at night?). Other than that, our experience was great. The employees […] were helpful and friendly and the room was a decent size. Really you can't beat the location--all of downtown Seattle--Seattle Center to Safeco Field--is very walkable from here if you're in even halfway decent shape. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"The Price is Right"
No amenities, except a coffee shop down the stairs from the lobby. Tiny room and tinier bathroom. But to be downtown for $100-150 less than all the others hotels makes it an acceptable place to stay when you're on your own dime.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great, affordable downtown Hotel"
Great rooms with clean, modern bathrooms. Staff was fine and there is an attached restaurant and lounge area. The location and affordability are what really makes this place. It is a short walk from all the sites, and if you are attending an event at the convention center, its close and was much cheaper than other nearby hotels (it is next door to the […] W, for example, and was half the price). "For the price, I expected a better experience."
For what I paid, I expected better. Things started off good with the valet guy. He was an older guy from back east and had excellent customer service skills. Valet was a dollar more than using the garage so I chose valet. Once inside the girl at the front activated two key cards. We went to the elevators and waited. Only one of them was in service. […] The other one was ridiculously slow. Once we got to our room on the 8th floor we got to find out that the key cards didn't work. Now we get to go all the way back downstairs. The girl looked on a list and apologized but our room was one of the ones where you had to pull up on the handle instead of traditionally push down. She activated two new cards as I told the other two didn't turn the lock light green so I wouldn't have been able to open it anyway. She used a different machine this time as well. We went back up to our room. One of the keys did work. We were able to get in. The rooms are very small but clean. We had to tell the front desk to get us shower towels as there weren't any in the bathroom. The next day there was a different valet on duty. He looked half asleep and seemed like I was bothering him to get my car. He walked down the street. The other guy who was more than twice this guys age ran! When he finally got the car back he didn't bother getting my nieces door. The other gentleman did. I still tipped this guy $5. He took it and muttered "thanks" under his breath without even making eye contact. The other guy was gracious and thanked me every time. Basically what I'm getting at is that the valet from New York is the best thing about this hotel. I will never go back here. For the price I expected a better experience. "Nice people but awful room"
Perfect location to walk to piers and pikes market. Stanley, the concierge, was wonderful. The bed was awful and the bathroom was even worse. No shower door or curtain and water splashes every where. "Small and in need of TLC"
We paid a ridiculous amount of money to stay in, basically, a closet. The room was so small there was no dresser so we couldn't unpack. The bathroom was absolutely tiny with no counter space of any kind. The bathroom "door" was frosted glass that shuts with a magnet (for ultimate privacy, obviously). When we checked in our toilet seat was broken (completely […] detached from the toilet and would go crashing to the floor), the tub was slow draining, the iPod docking station didn't work, and one of the lamps didn't work because the plug wouldn't stay plugged in. When I went to the front desk to get the toilet fixed I had to wait for the lady there to finish her phone conversation (girl, it's been too long! Lets get drinks soon! Etc…). The maid woke us up to clean the room in the 7:00 o'clock hour then waited a whole 90 minutes before waking us again. The location to downtown is nice and the bed was comfy but overall, definitely not worth it. We will not be staying here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Out dated & worn down"
Upon walking into the bathroom it appeared as if someone just finished "man-scaping" in the sink. The bath tub had a very unusual flaw that I've never heard of. While standing on the tub it felt as if there was water underneath the lining of the bottom of the tub. Imagine standing on a shallow water bed. "Spend Your Money Elsewhere"
Our experience at the Executive Hotel Pacific was pretty bad. Although we knew we were attempting to check in early and probably wouldn't be able to, the front desk agent didn't collect any of our personal information to let us know when our room would be ready. When we came back at check-in time, we were asked to sit while they attempted to check us […] in. After 30 minutes and zero attention from the hotel staff, we had to leave to drive to an event out of town. On the drive, we called to let the hotel know that we would be returning very late. The manager on the phone assured us he was blocking our room for us and it would be waiting upon our return. To no surprise, when we returned after midnight, our room had been given away and the hotel was completely oversold. When we were able to check in the next day, the accommodations did not impress. Only one of the two elevators was working which caused for very long waiting periods, they never refreshed our towels or sheets (only folded up the same used ones), and were less than enthusiastic to provide any sort of customer service. "Great location, good staff, mediocre hotel"
Its a small room, which is to be expected from an old hotel. I don't hold that against them at all. I liked the staff, and the location of the hotel is great. But there were some real negatives: Only one ice maker working that I found. One elevator of two functioning resulting in long waits aggrevated by staff moving cleaning carts around. Stairs are […] an option but were cluttered with construction debris and instead of putting you in the lobby they dump you out in an alley beside the hotel.
