Carpets were stained and worn to the point I didn't walk barefoot from the shower to the sink. The bed was comfortable although the condition of the carpet made me wonder just how clean the comforter and other items were. I'd call this hotel serviceable, but not nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not the Greatest/Not the Worst"
Negative: We had requested a non-smoking room and were given a room that smelled of cigarettes. The cleanliness factor of the room was below par, with a film you could feel around the top third of the wash basin. I was able to clean it easily. We could not adjust the shower head, which had numerous spray settings and was loose at the base so it just […] kept spinning unless you held it with one hand while turning the dial with the other hand. It was too high for the average person to reach. The water control knob in the tub was impossibly stiff so that you almost could not pull it out. Even my husband had a problem turning on the water. The toilet took an extremely long time to refill and was noisy. The lighting in the room was so dim, I had to stand by the window to apply my make-up. The breakfast was free but most of what was offered was dry and cold. The eggs were hot and in the form of a pancake; rubbery and dry. Positive: The location was not far from I-95. The night manager changed our room immediately for one that smelled clean and fresh, when we told her about it. The mattress was comfortable and the sheets were clean. There were 2 pillows per person which seemed standard with this room. The place was quiet and we were able to get a good night's sleep. There was a small garden in front of our room which was nice to look at. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"out dated furniture. noisy neighbor."
it was okay. Out dated furniture and noisy neighbors woke me up several times. Was able to hear foot steps of people passing by, from my room, on the concrete floors outside. Need to sound proof the floors outside the rooms. Need new carpets inside the room or shampoo the sofa and carpet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
'Convenient for a quick overnight trip. When the new Metro opens, it will be even more so -- just walking distance to the station. Tysons Mall nearby, and they provide shuttle service. No amenities. Rates very good for the area. Internet access was spotty and uneven. Room access is awkward for the inner area. My room was on the outside ring, in the […] very back; a bit dark and distant. "Hotel is worn and needs to be upgraded"
The hotel is old and run down. The outsiide looks old. The elevators appear to be old and dirty.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Best value in the area"
Very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. It is an older motel-style with parking around the perimeter. You might not always be able to park close to the room, and elevator may not be close either. Pool and garden area between the buildings is very nice with gazebo. Includes hot breakfast, and there is a fridge in the room. Room was clean […] and comfortable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
A bit worn. The toilet ran. The bathroom exhaust fan sounded like a Cessna. Also, the room smelled funky.Genuine Expedia guest review
"IT was close to where I was going. It was OKAY,"
Just one night, and it was fine. Older hotel, not luxury, but does the job. Staff was nice and location is greatGenuine Expedia guest review

"Last minute stay"
This hotel is in the heart of construction central. My GPS had a hard time getting me there. Rooms pretty old, but very clean. Arrived and left in the dark so not too sure what the exterior looks like. Staff was friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close enough to Washington DC ."
It was pleasant and the staff were nice. There was also a free breakfast in the morning. Good value for the money.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Experience for the Cost"
The hotel was quiet and rest came easy. The room itself was clean, as were the sheets, pillows and bed covers. The staff was expedient, accommodating and friendly. The water damage to the walls in the bathroom was cosmetically unappealing. When I showered, the water fluctuated from hot to cool, which threw me for a loop; although, it wasn't terrible […] - I didn't get scalded or go into shock from the cold. For the money, I'd surely recommend staying here, if you're just looking for a place to rest your bones for the night. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Wolf Trap"
We booked this hotel because it was close to Wolf Trap and offered a free shuttle to the venue. However, when we arrived, I asked about the shuttle and was told it could not go to Wolf Trap because it was outside of the 3 mile radius accommodated by the shuttle service. We complained (quite firmly) and eventually they agreed to take us to Wolf Trap. […] When we checked in, we had asked for a key to be left for a third companion who would be arriving later. When she arrived, there was no key for her. Rather, the person behind the desk couldn't find it. Thankfully, we were in the room and were able to let her in. The walls in the hotel were incredibly thin - we could hear others and they could hear us. We were not being particularly loud, but a neighbor came over to ask us to be quieter. Breakfast was subpar - muffins, cereal, bread, juice, bagels, and some disgusting looking egg product. Breakfast was supposed to last until 10am, but everything was put away by 9:45am. I would NOT stay at this hotel again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The AC had some problem in my room, the fan was running, but did not help at all. We call the staff, but he said it is working. Obviously it is not working. The temperature was even higher than outside in a late may evening.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to my place of business that I was visiting"
The room was very nice. The exterior of the hotel was a little dirty. The noise from the parking lot & surrounding Metro work was annoying. If I stay there again I will ask to be put in an interior room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This stay was alot better than my last! Alot cleaner!! Will stay againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"vist to D.C."
The stay was good, it was nice to have breakfast included and hotel transport was a plus. What I didn't like about the room was the bathroom area was small but for a few nights it served the purpose.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not bad. Very accommodating staff."
Although this hotel was a good value, I think some upgrades will make it great. The staff was GREAT!! The rooms need new locks, NEW CARPETING, or a GOOD STEAM CLEANING, new bed spreads, up grade the safe. Furniture was a little BANGED up. Shower was great. always good pressure. Pool was very nice. Location was nice. Free Breakfast was very good and […] WELL MAINTAINED!! The woman that takes care of the breakfast area is GREAT! My youngest son spilled some milk and juice on the counter and when we went to clean it up it was gone!! Quick. Like it never happened. We apologized to her and she said no problem. "Not worth it"
Make no mistake, this is just an old school motel. At $130/night, it was way overpriced. Friendly staff, but not worth the money. Toilet handle broke off first time I flushed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't Stay Here"
Damp room with dirty carpeting...did not stay...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pretty good for a one night stay."
The hotel was great, except for two small problems--one on me, one on the hotel. The one on the hotel--the plastic lampshade over the bathroom light fixture fell straight to the ground after opening the bathroom door the second time I walked into it. It cracked right in the middle--I hope I'm not getting charged for it. The other thing--don't use […] this hotel for Memorial Day weekend unless you like bikers or the biker culture. After being out late, I was woke up at 7 am to the sound of Harley pipes. There is NO sound dampening on the outside walls. You will hear what's going on outside. Whether it be conversation, cars, or 10 Harley's starting up at the same time. You've been warned. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

I booked the room for my daughter and her friend. Both are over 18 but under 21. "Great hotel for business or family."
My room was very clean and the hotel courtyard was very nice. I didn't get a chance to swim but the pool looked very clean. Staff was nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
somehow another couple was assigned to our room minutes after we had checked in and put everything in our room. a scary thought considering had we not been there to see someone else use a key to get in, all of our belongings, including our daughters wedding dress, might have been taken. i do not think that particular couple would have done that, since […] they were very apologetic and seemed very nice. but the thought that someone with lesser morals could have ruined our daughters wedding is unconcionable. i think the hotel needs to figure out how this can happen and take steps to avoid this in the future. unforgivable circumstances. I felt the room was not clean. Bathroom was a mess. I could tell it wasn't properly scrubbed after last attendee. The sink had hair on it. The bed linings looked old and because the bathroom was not clean I felt like the bedding couldn't be either. I wouldn't stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We booked this hotel for a quick and cheap overnight hotel before visiting Washington, DC. We arrived and the staff were less than enthusiastic to be there. We got the key walked into the room and the AC fan was running buy the AC was not cooling. Additionally, the floors and sheets were damp from the humidity. We called the desk and they said they […] were"booked" and would send someone to fix the AC but they weren't going to do anything about the sheets because housekeeping was gone for the day. Long story short.... Suprisingly, they had another room, in fact they had SEVERAL rooms and changed us after having to push for it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Not recommended for business travels"
On a tight budget? Then this is a good place to sleep. The hotel staff are REALLY nice and helpful, I appreciated their extra assistance in carrying my bags. The problem for me, an outside facing door with a flimsy lock didn't provide much security comfort while trying to sleep. The hotel was outdated and wasn't set up for business users who require […] dependable WiFi internet connection. As a female business traveler, I wouldn't recommend this hotel when traveling alone. "Basic Motel, not the best for business travelers"
No elevators up to my room which wasnt a big deal to me, the lobby was very far away from my room. Rooms are pretty small and internet is horribly slow, even with the router in my room. "Review of Comfort Inn in Tyson Corner , VA"
I was very satisfied; good breakfast alsoGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Booked room for out of town person. It is close to my house. Rate was very good. Only Issue was it took a while to locate the room Better maps and outdoor numberis is required, It took two of us 10 minutes to locate because it was on the third floor in a back building More conventional number system would be eaiser to followGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not What it Appears"
It would be worth it if you spent the extra $50 to stay in the Embassy Suites just around the corner. I had to ask to be moved because the hotel was mainly full of loud, rude, construction workers. The rooms (both the first one and the one i was moved to later) had a rancid smell. Since I arrived only on business I was praying that my clothes and hair […] didn't smell like the cheap hotel. VERY disappointing. The first room I was assigned overlooked the "courtyard" dont' be decieved. The "courtyard" was a place for the drunk, rude, profainty speaking construction workers to unwind. Anyway, I could not get the door to open, so I had to drag all my belongings back to the car and drive around to the front again. They put me on the first floor facing the courtyard...again, loud and noisy. On the 3rd attempt to accommodate me (and I give them credit for trying), my room was on the 3rd floor, much quieter, however, the inside door lock was broken. This was not a compfortable feeling for a woman traveling alone. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
