"Problems but overall OK stay"
Had problems with a phone which was discovered broken day after checking in but was most upset to discovered a foreign white substance in my coffee and filter area after drinking a cup. Overall pleased with everything else and a great staff thereGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice. Only complaint is that access to wifi was $10....really?Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great room/location/ and evening reception!"
The room was excellent very clean and spacious. I was surprised as to how big the room was and to have a separate bedroom. One of the highlights was the evening cocktail hour where there were free drinks and light snacks to guests. The only downfall was the slow elevators. We were on the 21st floor and had to wait 15 minutes for an elevator in the morning. […] The next time in Philly, I will definitely stay there again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Dirty Room, Management Couldn't Care Less"
The carpets were ripped, the carpet was stained, the couch was stained. The size of the room was huge, although it was a suit, but the room was so gross, even a burly man didn't want to touch the remote control. 4 packages of decaf, no regular coffee, so I had the opportunity to tell them about how thilthy the room was. They didn't care.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"I would choose this hotel again."
Enjoyed the free breakfast and free reception in the evenings. Could not have chosen a better location to see the local museums. My only complaint is I had to call at 5pm to remind hotel that my room of the second day of my stay was not yet madeGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel for a good price"
This is a great hotel especially if you are traveling with kids. Our room was HUGE and comfortable. The bed and towels were great as well. The hotel offers free drinks in the evenings and free breakfast in the morning. It was pretty pricey when I looked at it initially but it ended up going down in price to be only a little over $100 per night. Well […] worth it at that price. "clean hotel, crazy parking costs, won't stay again"
This hotel was very nice and the rooms were huge. We have 2 kids and we fit comfortably in a suite. They had free drinks at the bar during the evening that we were there which was really great. Breakfast buffet was good too. The parking though!!! I never imagined having to pay to park my car at a hotel. For one night's parking it was almost $40. We […] ended up doing a parking garage to save some money. I'm not used to staying in a city so I'm not sure if this is common or not, but they should definitely advertise this on their site. I would have stayed elsewhere and saved some money as we were on a vacation budget and that took away us going out for a nice meal. So nice hotel but will never stay there again on our many trips to the Philly area. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Center City Downtown Philly"
Convenience location but okay, my floor and room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke. Besides, that room itself was clean and comfortable for a 1 night stay. The hotel overall and especially rooms could use a bit of a face lift, sprucing up.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were in town for a huge concert festival and the hotel was packed. Other than the elevators being slow due to the congestion, it was a fantastic stay. The room was plush and the views were amazing. The hotel staff was upbeat and personal. It was a wonderful trip overall!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Only minor problems that were easily corrected."
Overall the hotel was ideally located and very comfortable. There were a few minor issues we had with the service. When we arrived we noticed that the trash can in the bedroom had not been emptied after the previous guests, which wouldn't be a big issue except it contained a dirty diaper. It took three calls to the front desk to have someone finally […] show up to remove it. Also, the booking information stated that you receive a free newspaper every morning at your door. We stayed three nights and never woke up to any newspaper. Lastly on the second day the staff failed to notice that we were out of toilet paper when they readied the room, so I had to make a specific request for more. Minor troubles in an otherwise very nice hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"GREAT Place! GREAT Stay!"
We were upgraded to a suite. What a great place this is. Fantastic hosted 'happy hour' (actually 2), great bartenders. Breakfast in the morning is at TGIFridays which is in the building. Cook to order breakfast and a fantastic spread. Great location too. We were VERY satisified!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I believe the Embassy suites should provide regular tooth brushes and tooth paste for their guest. The toothbrush I used was dull and there was barely enough toothpaste in that small package.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Breakfast buffet was great and my room was quiet. My biggest complaint is that the Hotel was showing its age thru wear and tear....carpeting was in need of replacement in halls and rooms. It needs a make-over. Staff was polite.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel--- lousy pillows!"
Deent hotel and a nice, friendly staff. The location is in the center of town and close enough to walk everywhere. The room suite was big and roomy. The bed was impossible to sleep in. They pillows were of absolutelyt NO value; they need to improve that before I would want to stay her again or, I'd have to bring my own. But I should not have to do that, […] should I? The staff, especially Peggy at the desk, were all excellent. Everything was as expected at Embassy Suites. The food was good and plentiful. It did get a little crowded at times in the buffet area, but we always found a table and enjoyed the meal. Happy hour was good. Beer, wine and mixed drinks were available along with chip type snacks. "Close to all must-see sights."
We were very satisfied. The breakfasts were wonderful. Everyone on the staff both at Embassy Suites and TGI Friday were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a most pleasant stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very professional and helpful staff, huge rooms, special amenities--enjoyable stay. Very friendly staf!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My family and I (4 total) stayed overnight, mainly to tour the area and keep goin to the next destination. The location was perfect! The room was comfortable and spacious. Not the traditional Embassy Suites I'm used to (with the bar/breakfast buffet and seating in middle of hotel and rooms surround it). It was much smaller, in width, yet it didn't take […] away the size of the rooms. Only thing I wasn't too crazy about was the parking (valet required) but there wasnt much choice based on the location. Overall, I'd go back again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Furnishings need to be refreshed"
The hotel was decent, but some of the furnishings were aged and needed to be refreshed. Also if TGIF is going to be the breakfast vendor, then they must refresh their offerings to feature high quality, fresh, local ingredients.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Does not live up to embassy standards."
wife and I went for a weekend getaway and enjoyed Philly but not so much embassy. Elevators are a big problem for that hotel. We waited over 25 minutes on the 17th floor for an elevator to take us down to breakfast and once we arrived we were disappointed once again. the space is not engineered well for a buffet. There is no organization what so ever. […] The lines go in all directions and there is not enough room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Embassy Suites Philadelphia - Center City"
The hotel is nice enough, the staff is pleasant, and it's conveniently located near several museums and restaurants. However, it's in serious need of some updating. The rooms and corridors are just a little dim. Our room did have a nice terrace and an awesome view. However, there is a kitchenette with no utensils, glasses, plates, etc. What's the point […] of having a kitchenette?? No in-room safe. We had lots of trouble with door locks and keys. Early morning hours, elevators all but unavailable. Long waits to get up or down. Complimentary breakfast less than flavorful. Just not good!! Would not stay here again. "Perfectly located in center of Philadelphia"
First trip to Philadelphia and this hotel is located within walking distance to many museums and eateries. We booked a city view room, but asked upon arrival if there was a Logan Square view available. Representative at front desk worked to accomodate us and we got a room on the 25th floor with an amazing view from the balcony at no additional cost. […] The staff is very friendly and helpful, though I wouldn't include bell desk staff in that assessment as they mostly are interested in talking to each other. The downside is that the rooms do need refurbishing; I used a blanket, and plenty of Lysol spray, to make the sofa somewhat agreeable. Housekeeping does an excellent job too in cleaning the rooms. The free daily breakfast is a definite plus as is the daily manager's reception every evening. Overall I recommend this hotel for its location and added extras. Would stay again just for the size of the rooms (700 sq feet) and the fact that rooms have a balcony. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"NOT your typical Embassy Suites!!"
This hotel has been refurbished from being apartments for years. It is a great location, right in the heart of downtown Philly. HOWEVER, do not expect a typical Embassy Suites!! First, there is no pool or hot tub. Second there are only 3 elevators for almost 30 floors,12 rooms on each floor; so the elevators are CONSTANTLY working overtime. When they […] arrive at your floor, they are usually full, which means sometimes a 10-30 min wait for an elevator (fine if you are on a low floor and can take the steps, but not everyone can). Third, the breakfast area is actually IN the TGIFriday's restaurant and it is absurd. PACKED beyond belief, and the logistics are just horrid. The hotel is comfortable, the people nice, but the other things make for a fairly unpleasant stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"The hotel was in a lovely neighborhood."
The hotel was nice. Staff very helpful. Facility for included breakfast was in a TGIF which was not was designed for a breakfast buffet which made for very crowded seating during a high tourist season. The managesr' reception in the afternoon was very sparse - chips and cheese doodles. The drinks seemed to be flowing freely. The suite included a huge […] living room which was very nice. We did enjoy our time there. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I enjoyed the spacious rooms during our 3 night stay. The free breakfast at the TGIFridays was nice especially the omelet bar. The breakfast area was very crowded one morning so going early is best. I was unhappy with my room not being cleaned one day and how slow the elevators are. Overall, the hotel is in a good location and I would stay there again […] in a less busy season. "Would highly recommend this hotel"
The suite well exceeded my expectations. The staff could not have been more courteous, helpful or pleasant. The free breakfast was better than any breakfast I have paid for. The view was beautiful and the room was peaceful and quiet, with no outside noise heard.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Location, great for a family"
We always stay at Embassy Suites. With 2 children, having a suite is indispensable. And when you factor in the free breakfast and happy hour, the vale is unbeatable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was fine. Happy Hour had long lines and breakfast was crazy busy, however the selections were good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for the price."
I stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. The room had a few stains on the carpet and couch but the size made up for it. It is in downtown Philly which was also excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice downtown Hotel"
We liked everything, but the wait for the elevators during checkout time was about 20 min.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved the location but the room was extremely dated looking and laid out in an awkward way. Two beds were tight in the bedroom and the sofa bed was uncomfortable. Impossible to get an elevator, we took the stars 22 flights. The beds were comfortable enough but too small. The breakfast was decent, awesome omelets. Never again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location. Great family hotel!"
Fitting a family of 5 isn't easy, so we were pleased to find this hotel. Steps from the Ben Franklin Center and close to many other stes with several decent restaurants nearby. The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. No complaints.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel, annoying staff"
It was a beautiful hotel. Definitely worth what we paid for it and then some. However I would advise everyone not to be deceived by the website. You have to be 21 to get a room. When we got there it was a big hassle getting the room and the woman at the desk was rude, but the male manager came and handled everything (in a nicer manner). Friday's is […] so convenient, you don't even have to step outside and service is speedy. Breakfast was delicious and complimentary. It was provided by Fridays and and actual breakfast; prepared to order omelets, homefries, pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, fruit, etc. Checking out was another hassle with a different woman badgering and judging, but that was just my personal experience. Overall the stay was beautiful. I definitely would recommend this place to friends. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Your location was great for seeing the city."
We came to Philadelphia for a short stay to see a Phillies game and your city which was very clean but expensive to park our car. We took advantage of the trolley which was reasonably priced and enjoyed our stay and your complimentary breakfasts.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great but could be better!"
Nice hotel if you are really into all that downtown Philly could offer. This is our second vacation stay in the hotel. We love the hotel. Manager happy hours and free continental made-to-order breakfast is a definite plus. The only thing that I can complain about is having to pay for wireless internet service daily in the room if you are not ready to […] sit in the lobby for free internet access. I think embassy suites should be past that by offering all guest free access in their room. Internet is too essential to our lives. Comparable hotel next door provides complementary wifi access. "Good location, good service"
This hotel is in excellent location and good service. I also got good rate at this time. The room is suite and can fit in 4-5 people with large living room and sofa bed. It also has little kitchen to cook.Genuine Expedia guest review
Was disappointed with the afternoon snacks and drinks. The last Embassy suites, I stayed at served hot snacks; like hot wings, etc. All this one served was chips and crackers.Genuine Expedia guest review
