Stacey at the front desk was exceptional. The hotel is being renovated so some of my lower ratings comes from that. The Free Breakfast was terrible. Bread and Muffins were stale and fruit was over ripe, especially the bananas.

This hotel is very convenient for visiting the industrial area of Northern Indianapolis. The bed was VERY comfortable, and the king room was large and very nicely appointed. It was a great room for the price!

I have been using hotels.com for several months now and this particular hotel has been the best value to date. Nice, clean, well maintained property. Above average amenities, helpful staff. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Indy area.

Beds soft and uncomfortable. Felt like we were sleeping on a pile of towels. No fan in the bathroom, got very steamy after showers. Climate not controlled - too hot or too cold. Hotel needs updating. Convenient location.

We were pleasantly surprised with our rooms as we took a chance with reserving through expedia blindly. Our fridge didn't work real well in 212 but we didn't say anything. In my Moms room the air didn't work real well but we left the doors open so the cool air from our room went into hers.

we got in about 8pm. Had one person behind the counter. Not once did she smile. Got to the room and had a immediate strong smell as we walked in. There were signs all over various areas saying wet varnish. I understand remodeling, because the place needed it. The room was very nice and had plenty of space. The only negative is a lack of counter space in the bathroom. It was convenient since we were participating at the sports zone, and I would definitely stay there on the future.

The hotel itself could use some help. It was kind of a mess, however, they are getting ready to start renovations. Even so, the price wasn't bad for what we got. Breakfast was good and hotel was super convenient. They are located just north of the city, which allows you free parking, and it was super easy and really fast to get to our downtown destinations. […] I think it took us only 10 minutes, going through downtown stop lights and everything, to get to the museum. Upon arriving, the hotel parking lot was decently lit with signs posted stating that the lot was being monitored by cameras. The hallways were a little musty but nothing to be concerned about. It was like smelling old detergent. Rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I liked that I could open the window for fresh air too.

Found the warmer for the egg and sausage trays off one hour after breakfast started. Appeared that outlet had a problem. Front desk person plugged it into a different outlet and was going to leave. I suggested that the eggs are probably spoiled but they claimed that they were frozen solid an hour ago and should be fine despite the malfunction. I insisted […] on ones from the freezer and they happily complied. But I wonder about folks eating after me that day. Hallway to guest rooms smelled very strongly of mildew. Found an inch long bug in the bathroom in the morning, I think it was a cockroach. Absolutely LOVE THEIR BEDS!!! Extremely comfortable. Read more

Room was clean could use a little updating as far as tv goes but it worked fine. The only problem we had was hotels.com said hotel was 7 miles from fair grounds and it was about 11 miles. but would stay there next time.

We just stay at this hotel one night before flying out the next day. It had great access to 465 and there were several nice restaurants within 2 miles of the hotel. Our room was clean and neat. Althought there were some stains on the sofa in the room that I felt didn't need to be there and our toilet didn't like to flush. We had to flush it two or three […] times to get it to work. The breakfast in the morning was very good, there were waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, milk, juice, muffins, toast, bagels, yogurt, plenty of options. This hotel is very outdated, especially given the nice area that it's located in. If you must book this hotel, only do it for a night. Make sure you have a booked schedule because enjoying this hotel will NOT be a high-lighted moment. The fitness room was even ill-eqipped.

Just about everything was fine except the dank, musty smell in the hallways and our room. Also, the loud air-conditioning unit kept me awake alot during the night.

I was pleasantly suprised at the cleanliness of the room. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The massage shower head might have been my favorite part. It was a great way to unwind after a long day. The place was quiet all night and I got a good night's sleep. The bright red colors almost damaged my eyes, but I can put up with that.

The Clarion was located just off of I-465, and we wondered if the noise would keep us up. No problem; the building is well sound-proofed, and we slept great in the VERY comfortable beds.
