The staff was great! I asked for a non-smoking room and was put in a former smoking room right next to a smoking room. I could tell when the guy next door was awake because I could smell the cigarette smoke coming through the walls each morning. Horrible sleeping/living conditions. Non-Smoking room smelled like smoke. Matresses had huge dips in them. Furniture was worn out and stained. Carpet was coming apart. Went to sleep and my wife and I both had nightmares about the room we were in! Needs immediate rennovations!

I have paid less and had better accomodations. Very old and used decor. Heavy smell of clorine throughout the hall and room. Breakfast service only had one person working and they were overwhelmed. Never plan to stay and another comfort inn.

This hotel needs alot of work. The cleanliness was fair. When I wanted to go to the pool to check out the pool and hot tub, the Clerk at the front desk seemed over worked, and annoyed that I wanted to go to the pool. The only access to the pool was with a master key that the front desk clerk had, and she seemed annoyed that I wanted to go to the pool. […] The hotel does not provide access to the pool on the guests room keys. This made it very inconvenient for the desk clerk and I am sure it is also inconvenient for the guests also. The hotel had a strange odor in the hallways, I could not place what it was, but it definately could use new carpeting in all the hallways, and the overall state of the hotel was some what run down. I was very pleased with my weekend stay at Comfort Inn. The room was nice and clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. This hotel is in a very convenient location close to food, shopping, and the interstate. I definitely plan on staying again next time I am in town.

I was disappointed with this property - I canceled my second night. The room I was in had no working telephone and the bed was visibly swayed in the middle. The bedding was stained and the carpet terribly worn. There was dirt in the breakfast water. I just could not stay another night.

The place needs cleaned. There were apparent bloodstains on the curtain in our room, something on the bathroom wall and it just looks like the place has been neglected. The tub was dirty. Light bulbs were out in the breakfast area. the employees were nice and helpful, but seem overwhelmed. Not somewhere that I would pick again.

The air conditioning was not working in the lobby and it was not working well in our room. We did not have any towels in our room but I went to the clerk and she immediately gave us towels and apologized for the inconvenience. The overall condition of the hotel is that it needs some upkeep. It needs repainting and updating. It was clean though.

Overall the stay was ok. The carpets throughout the hotel were well worn and the stairs in the lobby were very dirty with what appeared to be food crumbs. The exit door on the side of the building required a card reader but it was broken and anyone could enter the hotel. We are coffee drinkers and the people who made up the room failed to replenish […] the coffee. We are not big on hotel breakfast but this one was above normal serving eggs, biscusts and gravy as well as the usual food (waffels,cereal,bagels, etc). On this trip we stayed at a super 8, Hilton, a locally owned motel, and this comfort inn. The comfort inn was the worse of the lot. Read more

The property needs some attention, some things are broken-down looking. The people were very pleasant, room was clean enough. The element that made it all feel a little off was the adult shop right next door. I did not get the impression that the two businesses had a lot of overlap in customers, but it was interesting driving the kids past.

The hotel lobby was very dirty with large stains on the carpet. The AC was nort working in the lobby and portable fans were setup . The tv in the room is very outdated. The bottom of the pool was stained very badly or dirty, we did not swim after seeing the condition of the bottom of the pool

Because the"Do Not Disturb" sign was accidently left on our door in the A.M., we didn't receive clean towels that day. When we returned to the hotel at 11P.M. we asked the desk clerk for clean towels. We were told rather abruptly that there weren't any available because she had given them all out, the hotel was full and some guests had asked for extras. […] We asked when we would be able to have clean towels, we were informed-again in an abrupt and impatient tone of voice-she was working on that. At 7A.M. the next morning I called asked for clean towels and was told "we are working on it". To make a long story short, at 10:30A.M. my daughter went to the front desk and was given two bath towels, two wash cloths and three hand towels. We had 3 registered guests in our room! Thank goodness my Granddaughter had brought her beach towel with her and used that or we would have to again call and wait for towels. To run out of towels is unacceptable. Surely someone could have been called in during the night to do laundry or they should have been able to perhaps borrow from another hotel in this chain in Lexington!! I have stayed in many hotels in the U.S. and Europe and have never been told there aren't any towels available. I'll never recommend this hotel to anyone! Read more

Making a reservation online does not allow you to know about the neighborhood. This hotel is located behind Hustler Hollywood Store. I would not have chosen it if I had known it was in such a spot. Someone set off the fire alarm and having to exit the hotel after being asleep was a concern due to the neighborhood as well.

The room was very disappointing. The carpet was stained in mulitple places, the bedspreads had cigarette burn holes in them which made me wonder when the last time they were laundered was. The bathtub had dirty footprints in it when we arrived. Overall is was not a good experience.

the first room we had, the floors in the bathroom were dirty, there was black mold in the shower seems and on the shower head, called front desk to witch to a different room and when we did the shower seems and shower head had black mold on them also, and the air conditioning did not work! All in all not happy wasting rewards credit on the room!

When we arrived, there were dirty linens left in the bathroom. We asked the hotel staff to clean up. The overall appearance of the hotel was shabby, with weeds in the approach to the building. An adult bookstore was right next door. One early evening, the police arrived outside to arrest a prostitute, who our son had seen getting out of a tractor trailer […] in the parking lot, when he took a run around the building. (in daylight hours. He saw a naked man getting out of the tractor. As all the hotels were booked in the area, we had no choice but to stay that night.
