"Avoid at all costs"

Check in was easy enough. Room was small and I found a tag in a corner that indicated the room wasn't cleaned quite well. The bed bugs were too much, though. Yes, BED BUGS!!! When I reported them, staff did come up immediately to confirm, but no one, not the maintenance, housekeeping, front desk, nor manager even apologized. Do yourself a favor and try the Red Roof or Clarion nearby.

The room was what I expected - it was a place to sleep close to the highway - more comfortable than a tent. . .the room could have been cleaner - carpet dirty, cobwebs - toilet paper holder falling off wall. Was marked as non-smoking room on door, but clearly has been used by guests as a smoking room - bedspread, pillows and curtains smelled like smoke. They should not call what they offer a "continental breakfast" - coffee, juice and packaged danishes is not a continental breakfast. They should just say free coffee and danishes . . .

The room was really small. The shower was clogged and water did not drain. Had to call the maintenance to come fix it. Breakfast was skimpy and its no where close to continental breakfast. However, it was close to a number of restaurants and shopping malls.

Our whole family went & so we had multiple rooms.They were on ground level & on the back side of the motel.It was nice & quiet & gave us a lot of privacy!Thanks!

The Econo Lodge South is an outstanding value for the money. The rooms are extremely clean and have recently been renovated. It is a very convenient location near McKinley mall, the thruway, and the stadium. Chain restaurants abound. We have stayed here before, and it is a good location for travelers and overnite guests. The desk attendants were acoomodating and friendly.

The room was clean. The room was cheap. The walls were paper thin and the plumbing could use a little attention. All night the sink was making gurgling noises, but that due to the fact the people in the other rooms were using their sink shower or toilet, which I could hear because apparently the walls were made out of waxed paper. The room was small, almost cramped but that is part of paying for it with a single bill. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stretch out and relax, I would however recommend this to a heavy sleeper on a budget.

Although everything was arranged okay, we mentioned when booking with hotels.com that we wanted a roll-away bed in the room and the hotel was never given this information.

The hotel was in a good location and wasn't terrible overall. The problem I had with it is that it wasn't as clean as it should have been. We found body hair in the bed sheets the first night and on the bathroom floor. If it weren't for that, we would've loved this hotel.

"The Bar next door is very loud"

The Bar (Warehouse) next door is very loud all night. The shower was either scalding hot, or cold. The walls are paper thin. You can hear the neighbors toilet.

The stay was OK. The hotel staff was not the most pleasant when checking in. The room was small, but with the price, it was OK. The cleaniness was good. I was not too happy with that the front desk was not attached to the hotel. The hotel was way back from the front desk building and my room was at the back of the building, which did not make me feel safe when coming back to my room late at night. Checking out was better than checking in. I lost my second key and thought they were going to charge me, but the lady was nice and decided not to charge me extra for losing it.

The room in this hotel was not clean in any way. The carpeting was so dirty my socks were black on the bottoms just from walking from the bed to the bathroom. The blanket on the bed had food (unsure of exactly what) on it... there was hair all over the bathroom floor. It was a truly repulsive place to stay. The only good thing was that the air conditioner worked very well.

This hotel is just a room to stay in. There was nothing fancy about it. It could have been a little cleaner but for the money it was not to bad. I must say the staff was really nice and helpful.

The staff was nice, and I was in my room a mere minute after arriving (which was wonderful after a 9 hour drive!). The room itself was subpar... the carpet was sticky, we had to wear our shoes inside until we went to bed. The room smelled slightly like urine and the bedspread was dirty. The wireless internet was fast and easy to connect to. It only went out once... when the entire building lost power. Overall I guess it was okay if you can't afford somewhere better.

I booked this hotel for friends and paid on mmmy visa. When we got to the room 207 it had no bed. We had to get with mgmt to get another room. It was time consuming we then had to rush out to meet friends.I would like some kind of credit for the inconvenience.
