The hotel is about 10 minutes to the main train station (Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof). Parking is €8 pet day and not on site, is about a 5 minute walk; not good if it's snowing. The room is average size for European standards, bathroom was clean, beds were ok.

The staff were ok my room was close to the street could not get any sleep because of noise from poeple screening the windows were closed but the noise still filters through. But overall i had a good time in germany.

Just a 5 minute walk from the Hauptbahnof, the hotel is clean, comfortable and in a good location. Nothing fancy or luxurious but cozy with a very nice staff. I'd definitely go back.

I never thought that in 2011 you have to check if a hotel has an air condisioner so comes summer the best they can do is a fan remindes me of the Hotels in the 1930's

The hotel was satisfactory for me traveling alone. The room was very small and basic and the furnishings were somewhat worn and out of date. Otherwise it was very clean and the service was good. raditor in room could not be turned off, room was like a sauna.shower was intermittent, frequently changing from very hot to very cold. tootbrush and tooth paste and rubbish from previous guests left in room by cleaner.

Wife and I were looking for a bargain priced hotel for our city break in Dusseldorf. Having read other reviews the Mondial seemed worth a try. Close to the central railway station and therefore the excellent German transport system. The staff are very friendly welcoming and we were unexpectantly checked in at 10-30am , a bonus as check in seems to be […] 2pm we were asked if we would like a front or back of the hotel room and as the weather would mean having the window open chose the rear to avoid noise from the main road. (While we were out the hotel even put a desk fan in our room) I would ask for extra pillows as the Germans don't do British style. The small-ish room met its needs large bed, desk , fridge, shower , if you want luxury accom go someplace else , we were there to see Dusseldorf Not the inside of a hotel room. The room was well serviced daily (towels etc) and the reception staff more than helpfull with maps , info , directions etc. Breakfast Buffet looked good although we chose to eat out . (plenty of choice around the city) The location of this Hotel is good for getting about being close to the Central station and transport hub but some travellers may find the area a bit BEIGE / rough although there are a couple of better class hotels in the same area. I arrived around 11pm - I was surprised to see hotel was closed & there were no staff. I used a pay-phone to call the number on the door, but this pay-phone never worked. I was a tourist & had no cell phone. I waited for 20 mins & the man came with a super-market trolly of sundries. He checked me in & I slept. Hotellet ligger i gå-afstand fra Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. Rengøring ok. En del gadelarm på nogle af værelserne, andre vender ud mod en lysskakt, men er til gengæld dejligt stille. Gode senge! Alt i alt et ok hotel til at overnatte på.

Mondial Hotel located pretty close to the central train station in Düsseldorf is ideal, if you come by train and have to depart by train. Il personale si e' dimostrato estremamente disponibile e cortese. A meno di 5 minuti dalla stazione principale (da cui in 5 minuti si raggiunge l'aeroporto) ed allo stesso tempo a meno di 10 minuti dal centro. Nonostante si trovi su una strada principale nelle stanza non si sente alcun rumore.

Im Flur riecht es sehr unangenehm nach den Toiletten im Keller, In meinem Zimmer war keine Seife und kein Duschgel mehr und 2 der Lampen gingen nicht. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren aber sehr sauber. Die Rezeptionisten waren ausgesprochen freundlich.

Alles ist Preis/Leistung angemessen. Für reisende ohne Auto ist dieses Hotel nur zu empfehlen. Mit Auto es ist teuer (in die ganze Stadtmitte). Es gibt keine moderne Ausstattung aber alles funktioniert wie es muss. Das Zimmer war für zwei ein bisschen zu klein, aber eine Person hat genug Platz.
