Facilities and room were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast area was nice and service was excellent. Front desk personnel were very profesional and warm.

Good, clean, convenient hotel - what you expect from Marriott Courtyard. Even though it is right off the highway, it is a little difficult to get to and not as convenient to downtown/university as the other Baton Rouge Marriott Courtyard.

This is a fine place to stay in Baton Rouge. It's a little hard to get there off of the freeway, but the room was comfortable,the beds are not the best, but more than adequate. The only complaint is that the air conditioner was difficult to control. We either froze or sweltered. Thermostatically controlled units should be part of their next up grade. The internet was free and fast, but breakfast was not included and what seemed to be offered looked pretty pathetic. On the other hand there are plenty of good breakfast places nearby, not within walking distance, mind you- actually almost nothing is within walking distance- but nearby.

It's a nice hotel that obviously has some age on it, but well kept and comfortable. The location was very convenient for what we needed. The indoor pool was a definite plus. We booked there because we erroneously thought that breakfast was included, it is not. Sadly, we ate there anyway. The service was excellent, but the food was, um, not.

I've stayed in other Courtyards by Marriott that were better maintained and better built. Also, the room curtains reeked of cigarette smoke and the room had the overall smell of a former smoking room that had been inadequately sanitized. Disappointing.

The room was small for the price, out dated, the pictures and the lamp shade were so dusty. It just what I excepted for Marriott. Way below expectations.

We stayed overnight at the Courtyard Marriott as a birthday "get-away." It was worth it just for the hot tub and the breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order. The room was clean and in good condition. It included a sofa with coffee table and would have been a comfortable place to stay for several nights. It's located right off the freeway in a large shopping center, with a chain restaurants, fast food outlets, and shopping literally next door. Not exactly a tourist spot, but very convenient.

The hotel was very comfortable. The people were nice and very helpful. It was also very clean. i would definatly recommend this hotel.

The only thing wrong with this hotel was the location... we were there on a weekend and the traffic was horrible and how this hotel was placed in reference to the highway was terrible... you cannot get to this hotel from east bound without backtracking and getting upset... and getting out was a very congested traffic pattern... otherwise the staff was friendly and it was clean

This was a nice hotel. It was clean and our whole family enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We skipped the breakfast. It would be nice to see minifridges in the rooms, since we like to keep snacks and drinks for our kids. The bathroom area and closet is small, so it was a little tight trying to find a spot to put the suitcases. We like having hi speed internet in the room and they had it all set up ready to go.

This hotel has boutique charm and is not far off the beaten path to the French Quarter. We had just a day to explore and had a great time walking through the surrounding neighborhood to get to Canal Street and beyond. The room was beyond expectations with the high ceilings and lovely balcony overlooking a nearby cafe. The stay was quiet and comfy. We will return!

The bathroom shower was not cleaned very well. I found hair in the shower. No continental breakfast was a downer, but we knew that before going. We left the room that morning and returned around 4 p.m. and housekeeping had not cleaned our room. The housekeeper that was not assigned to our room, came right away to clean the room and gave us clean towels. That is all we asked of her. She was extremely kind, as was the front desk attendants. It was very quiet where we were staying. In fact, there was a group of young soccer players in the hotel and the front desk made a point to place us separate for the convenience. Overall, everything worked, it was peaceful, convenient, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would return and tell others.

Decent room for the money. Typically would expect about 20 bucks cheaper but in the given area it was good deal comparable. Room clean, checkin easy, not bad.

The only suggestions I would make for anyone booking a room here is 1) request a room the faces away from Siegan Lane. There is a main intersection right outside that side of the hotel and there was constant speaker bass heard throughout the day and night. 2) It may have just been our room, but I would suggest that before you settle in and get comfortable, check the bed in your room first! It was like sleeping on a table! Very, very uncomfortable and we were not at all satisfied with that portion of our stay.

We wanted to find a hotel with an indoor swimming pool/hot tub. This hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. We would stay here again and would recommend it to our friends.

I picked this hotel over all others in Baton Rouge because they have an indoor jacuzzi and heated pool, and the pool area is open late (sign said 10 PM, front desk said 11 PM). A late-night soak is always fun on a romantic getaway. :) Price was higher than I'd expect to pay for the room quality. Bathroom was tiny and there was no mini-fridge, though Internet access was complimentary and the king bed was very comfortable. You have to pay for breakfast though, so we passed. Location is convenient but traffic sucks. Close to the Mall of Louisiana, Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, movie theaters, and several restaurants. Overall, not bad. Indoor jacuzzi/pool is a big plus for me and this might be the only hotel in the area to offer that. Would stay here again if I can find a better rate.

Nice hotel, only complaint was the drain in the tub did not drain properly. Water was still in the tub when you finished showering. Very slow. Other than that very nice.
