The Inn and Spa was a nice hotel in the middle of the quaint town of Sandwich. Their gardens, pool, restaurant were very nice. Room was a good size, comfortable mattress, cozy space. The service could have been better.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Historical Inn within a Charming Town!"
I was very impressed with the The Dan'l Webster Inn and Spa! It was so charming, and the grounds were beautifully decorated. It was very quant, and the room was very well thought out with great attention to detail. I enjoyed reading the history of the Inn which was posted in various parts of the inn, and in the info book in our room. The coffee in the […] room tasted great, and the chocolates at turndown were delicious! At check-in, we were given a coupon for $15 off breakfast, which goes a long way since the breakfast prices were reasonable. The dining room for breakfast was so relaxing and a delight to wake up to. It had glass walls looking onto the gardens, and 2 beautiful chandeliers. I highly recommend this inn as your gateway to cape cod. The town of Sandwich was so charming and fun to spend a few hours in before we took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I can honestly say after extensive travel the the accommodations here were top notch. Make sure you get the rooms with a fire place , balcony , heated tile floors and hot tub. If you use the restaurant I can recommend the veal oscar. The water theme is very soothing from the waterfall in the garden viewed from the restaurant or the little falls feeding the swimming pool.

Stayed three nights wanted a place on the Cape where we could do day trips from. The Hotel is excellent location 1.5 hours to Provincetown. Rooms are very spacious, excellent free wifi and clean - Restaurants on site , the dinning room and Pub were so good we ate there all 3 nights. Hotel overall a bit pricey but well worth it.

If you are planning a trip to Cape Cod - and the Fall is a great time when all the tourists leave - this is the place to stay. Day trips from Sandwich to destinations 'down Cape' are easy and a beautiful drive. However, you may not want to leave the Webster. This is a 5 star facility with 10 star staff. My wife & I, our youngest & her new husband, as well as many international guests were here over the past weekend for a wedding, and....wow! The gardens were just the right setting for the ceremony, the reception in the conservatory was fabulous, the rooms were immaculate, the food was to die for. Bethany & Dana did everything to make it a perfect day for the happy couple, my compliments and heartfelt thanks to them for an event without any incidents. Wife & I stayed in the Fessenden Suite, Room 42, and it was terrific. This suite is in a building detached from the main inn by a short walk across the driveway. It was quiet and comfy, had separate living, sleeping and changing areas. The newlyweds stayed in the Jarvis Suite, room 23, and they had the jacuzzi, nice balcony, fireplace, etc. When they returned to their room after the reception, there were rose pedals laid out leading to the four poster bed and the jacuzzi, as well as a heart made of rose pedals on the bed. The Webster arranged for the florist, who was a local shop the best we have used for any event. We received compliments from everyone on the flowers, the food and the service. Thanks to everyone for a memorable time. Can't wait for the pictures and video!
"Great place to explore the Cod"

We came here in August the final part of our two week break, this hotel is in a good location with a good restaurant available, we stayed initially and then decided to stay at the end of our holiday. We took room 70 it was a nice room with a balcony, but the room was dark and we paid more for this room. The down side is that this room was a premium room but the balcony was covered with trees, so it doesn't really show the sun, some nice touches in the hotel, and the staff were all very accommodating, though it wasn't an excellent review we would stay here again.

Arrived late evening and greeted with a sincere "Welcome, we've been waiting for you!" by Joseph who was working the front desk and waiting for us outside. He helped us with our bags, offered some great suggestions for our planned antique shopping in the morning and was a pleasure to talk with. Our room was neat, clean and lovely. Typical "old Colonial" style, with comfortable beds, thick fluffy towels and a coffee station with a Kureg brewer, assortment of coffees & tea pods. The Inn is comfortable, relaxed and quiet, considering it was full. Ample parking in a well lit back lot, the tavern & restaurant were cozy and the food selection very appetizing. Check-out was easy. David R. was another wealth of local information as Joseph was. All of the staff was friendly - just what you would expect from a well run country Inn. We will be back! Mille grazie!!
"Still our favorite place to stay in Cape Cod"
08/14/14 Cactus111 Rochester, New York
My wife and I come to Cape Cod about every 3 years for the past 20 years and stay at the Daniel Webster at least part of the time every time we come. We usually stay about 4 nights. We always ask for room 28 in the Jarvis Wing. Everything about this room is perfect. Jacuzzi, heated floor in the bathroom, balcony overlooking the rear lawn and gardens. The pool area is always quiet and serene and clean. The Pub and 'Greenhouse' restaurants are wonderful, and the staff is always pleasant and cheerful. We are very picky about the places we stay, so obviously this place must be good.

Spent two days here this month. The room was well appointed and clean with very comfortable beds. Tthe lobby and public areas were very nice as were the outside garden and pool. So far so good but our room was in a section that had suffered a fire and much needed renovation. This section included rooms 60 through 70 and had no handicap access, a problem for me. There seemed to be some fixing up going on which had a long way to go. The hall way was cluttered with tools, needed painting and was quite rundown in appearance.
"A brief but enjoyable stay"

My husband and I came here for my brothers wedding. The wedding and reception were wonderful. Our room was big and clean (loved the coffee maker). The food at both the restaurant and the reception was excellent. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to enjoy the spa or the pool area, but I would definately come back.
"A comfortable classic!"

We return to this charming and comfortable hotel in every season, and find the Dan'l Webster as reliably quaint in summer as it is in the fall. While many Cape Cod hotels close in the "off-season" the Dan'l Webster remains a welcoming presence in the historic and beautiful Sandwich -- the oldest town on Cape Cod. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub are wonderful jewels hidden behind the lovely gardens and restaurant. Never crowded, it's wonderful for a relaxing day in the water. There are tables and a gazebo in the pool area -- I would love for a service attendant to be available for lunch service, but guests may order off the yummy lunch menu and enjoy it by the pool. Dinner is very nice in the atrium dining room, particularly in summer, and the pub, with its huge stone fireplace is perfect in the fall. Historic Sandwich is a joy to explore, and the beaches in this area boast huge stretches of shoreline. The town itself is walkable with quaint shops, restaurants, along with the lovely mill and pond, close by. We first stayed at the Dan'l Webster during a particularly cold New England winter, and feel in love with its wonderfully warm presence. I
