Conveniently right off Hwy 7 & fairly safe area although every restaurant and gas station closes @ 10:00. Hotel staff very friendly and professional. I chose this hotel because I had recently stayed in an Econlodge in a very small town in upper MI. That was a very nice room and since Lansing KS was a bigger town, expected at least comprable. It was not. The room was very small, expecially for a couple and there was no room to properly unpack and very few hangers on the rod that served for a "closet". […] However, the room was clean and the staff very friendly. The hot and cold was reversed in the shower, but there was plenly of hot water and good water pressure. As we were looking for a place to sleep and not much else, I would say it was worth the price. this hotel was so clean, the bathrooms were showplace clean and for me that is key to a good hotel. the internet was slow during peak hours, the only small complaint, the people were friendly, helpful, the breakfast was fresh and good. it was a very nice hotel and i will stay again

We requested a non-smoking room. We were told that about 50% of the rooms are non-smoking, but we saw only 1 room on the 2nd floor that had an appropriate sign on the door. And if the rooms are scattered about the whole establishment, that just means the smoke filters from room to room. Our room reeked of smoke. I could not breathe, both husband and […] I were very restless all night. I did notice that there were new mattress and box springs, but if they don't replace carpet, bedding, furniture, and strip paint from walls, the smell never goes away. And besides there were burn marks on the lavatory and tub, obviously from cigarettes. So obviously we were very dissatisfied with our room. Read more

There was a large stain on my comforter (of what looked to be old blood)...definitely not something you really wanna see on the blankets that you are about to get into bed with! Driving to and from the hotel was quick. It wasn't excellent, but I would call it adequate. It had free wifi and a small breakfast. Fresh baked cookies when we arrived was a plus.

We only stayed at this hotel to sleep but even that was difficult. The beds were hard as rocks and the pillows were the same. To add to that my husband and I woke up with bug bites all over.

This hotel is a fine example of why you do not let filthy smokers smoke in your rooms. The entire hotel reeks like smoke and generally smells like "butt". If not for the smell, my review would have been a more positive one. Why do people need to smoke in their rooms anyway?

Found the location of this hotel to be close to everything and easy access to main road. The hotel room is what I expected. We asked for and got a non-smoking room, unfortunately it was the only non-smoking room we saw on the floor. The cigarette smoke residue from other rooms could be easily detected in our rooms. The over-all experience was satisfactory.
