Good value for money, good accommodation
"Our Favorite Place to Stay in T.O."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Our room had two minor issues which we reported at checkout. (Refrigerator did not work well due to broken seal on door and toilet needed a little tightening) I will trust the hotel will address these maintenance issues. The suite was clean, comfortable and pleasing for our stay. This is always our first choice of accommodations, so much better than a standard room. The Hotel has simple elegance and a top rate, friendly and efficient staff.
"An excellent hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent value. An enjoyable stay all round.

"Days Inn Beaches - Interesting neighboorhood"
While it was too cold to actually walk on the beach, we still enjoyed our stay in the Beaches neighboorhood of Toronto. Free parking, convenient to street car line & a wonderful pub next door - Murphy's Law (best pierogies I've ever had - and in Pittsburgh we know pierogies!)
"hotel at Queen and Kingston...95% excellent!"
Our stay at this Days Inn was over all a very good experience. There wasn't a microwave in the room and the wireless service was not working most of the stay. On the other hand, a microwave wasn't advertised as part of the deal, but it's VERY pervasive in hotels these days. The staff were friendly and willing to accomodate our requests. The hotel is […] right on the streetcar line, so very easy to get into the downtown core of Toronto. The area is fairly quiet and seems safe. We would stay there again, but would really want that wireless service to work next time! Read more

"Great location for Toronto sightseeing"
Hotel was good for if you don't plan on spending all your time in the hotel! Right on the route for the trolley to downtown. Walking distance to beaches. Our room was on the 2nd floor, right by the main door to the 2nd floor, which slams everytime it's used in the early morning. That was annoying. I'd stay again though. And the irish pub next door was […] amazing! Read more
"easy living in the beaches"
friendly, comfortable hotel in the beaches area of toronto. convenient to downtown by streetcar, eclectic neighborhoods to explore, stroll the boardwalk along the lake. staff is helpful. rooms are small, but how much time do you spend in them? this time, the beds were showing their age, sagging and not conducive to good sleeping. time lay in some new […] ones. "Convenient location--cramped room."
This is not a very modern hotel. There is no elevator, so if you don't want to climb stairs, ask for a first floor room. Very few usable electrical outlets. I had to unplug the desk lamp to plug in my laptop. It was either that or the fridge. The desk clerk was not very friendly or interested in customer satisfaction. The location is convenient and […] there is free parking in the small lot next to the car wash. The rooms are very narrow--you have to squeeze between the beds and the TV cabinet to get by. The heater didn't work properly. Even on the lowest setting the room would get uncomfortably warm and we would have to turn it off. The picture on the TV was horrible on most of the channels. I noticed the cable had been pulled out of the wall jack and then just shoved back in. I repaired the cable connector myself and cleared up the picture nicely. The bathroom was OK. Read more

"good location and price"
The location is enough convenient, just in front of tram. But, you might consider you can not get any lift in hotel.
"Inexpensive and very convienent to downtown"
This hotel is perfect to avoid the downtown traffic madness but still enjoy dowtown. A trolley stops right in front of the hotel and it only costs $2.75 CAD every time you jump on. If you ride it, first get off at Younge St, it's in a good location in downtown. When you're coming back to the hotel the street is Kingsley. Parking is free at this Days […] Inn. The rooms are long and skinny, the bathroom door opens real close to the toilet. There's an Indian restaurant, an Irish pub, and a convience store next door. If you walk through the park across the street it will take you to Lake Ontario and there's a nice boardwalk there. There's also a movie theater and an off-site horse track to bet across the street. Have fun Read more
"Average Hotel"
Rooms were very tight. Not much space to walk. We expected the fridge will be provided free but the hotel wanted $10.00 additional. One day power went off in the evening. They could restore it only by midnight.
"great for money right next to the trolley line"
great location trolley and bus stops right in front that bring you right to down town 9 dollars for a day pass for the buses trolleys in subway very worth it once I got there never had to drive again also the hotel had free parking which hard to find in a city like Toronto
"Close to the Beach and the Trolley"
I checked into this hotel in the late evening and the desk clerk was quick, friendly and very professional. The parking was convenient and in a city of endless parking fees, thankfully free. The hotel is only two floors and I was onthe second. No elevator but that was not much of an inconvenience. The room was very nice with a large closet, a desk, […] TV in a cabinet and a very comfortable King bed. There was also a round table with two chairs but it really did not fit in the room. The room was long and narrow and the table made it difficult to get around the bed. The Air Conditioner was also a bit slow to cool the room but it did make it confomfortable after about a half hour. Not great with very workable. The location was great. A few block to the boardwalk along the lake. Close to plenty of trend restaurants on Queen and the Trolley/Street car stopped right in front of the hotel. I suggest getting a Day Pass for the metro and hop on and off the subway and trolley. "Good hotel, some attention to cleanliness needed"
This small, but comfortable room was quite satisfactory and surprisingly quiet for a lively neighbourhood. Housekeeping was OK, but cobwebs on the ceiling need attention. Also, the grass outside the west side of the building seems to be a neighbourhood doggy (or drunken revelers?) toilet! The smell came in the windows on the ground floor. The hotel […] should fence off this area to discourage irresponsible dog owners/pub goers. Free parking is great, and rare in Toronto. Great pub and Indian restaurant close by, and close to the beach. Streetcar right out front takes you downtown in 20 minutes. I will definitely return to this hotel. Read more

"Well above standard"
The cleanliness of the room is well above standard.
"Excelent location"
Very easy to get down town Toronto from the hotel, very close to beach in a nice neigbhor, at the corner there is a very very recomendable indian restaurant meals really delicius if you go Toronto you have to go there for dinner.
"Close to downtown, free parking"
Overall it was good. I was there for 2 nights. It was close to downtown and solved our purpose. Room was bit damp probably b'coz of less sunlight.

Quite far away from DowntownToronto (about 30mins by tram) but a lovely hotel with very friendly staff.
"Days Inn Toronto Beaches"
Good value for your dollar, complimentary breakfast was great and there are many restaurants nearby. Complimentary overnight parking makes this place better on your pocket book as we have paid up to $35.00 per day for downtown hotel parking. This Days Inn is geared to adults as no swim pool, games room etc for kids. you are downtown in 25 minutes on […] the Queen streetcar a definite treat for out of towners. Walking any direction on Queen St offers unique shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay there again. Read more

"Charming Hotel - Spotless, Comfortable, Convenient"
Initial impression: reminded me of a rooming house with the 9:00 p.m. quiet rule; no guests after 9:00 p.m.; small rooms BUT it was extremely clean, smoke-free, comfortable. The rooms are small and do-able if one is looking for a one or two night stay. Would request a king bed next time. The shortest member of our party was 5'11" so had to sleep diagonal […] on the bed. Quite enjoyed the breakfast the next morning - variety of fruit, breads, cereals, coffee, tea, apple and orange juice. The evening clerk at the front desk was efficient but not personable. The morning/day clerk was friendly and helpful. Overall, sure stay here. It's clean, pretty quiet, smoke-free, parking included. Great location. Read more

"Days Inn - Toronto East Beaches"
it's a nice hotel, the continental breakfast is not great no eggs and and waffles, only bread, bagel, cereal ,Apple and orange juice, coffee, tea, and some fruits banana, orange and apple. The rooms are decent and clean, the roofing is high, the bathroom is ok but a bit old. They still use the CRT TV. the heating/condifionning needs to change as it […] is loud once opened but my room temp was ok so i shut it off. overall my stay was ok. i would go back for it's conveniency to downtown for the price i pay. "Good!"
I liked my stay at this hotel very much! The location is super, only twenty minutes from the center of Toronto by streetcar (the station is right in front of the hotel). My room was very large and clean. The area in which the hotel was located had everything on a walking distance. Supermarkets, restaurants etc. I enjoyed walking around the area a bit. I […] would definitely recommend this hotel if you're visiting the city of Toronto (and are on a budget)! Read more

"Better than expected"
I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest I could find that was more or less in central Toronto. And I was very pleasantly surprised, as it is definitely a cut above "bargain basement". The room was well equipped, with an iron and ironing board (two items that I always appreciate), a coffee maker rather than a kettle and instant coffee, and a […] nice big bathtub with a very powerful shower. And the breakfast was better than expected, too: toast, bagels, cereal, fruit, coffee, etc. The location is good. I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for good, clean budget accommodation. Read more
"Don't stay here"
This place was really bad. Felt like we were checking into a prison. No guests after 9, security cameras everywhere and no elevator. The room did not smell fresh and were very narrow; with only two feet between the foot of the bed and the wall. After we checked out I found that they had randomly charged my credit card and additional $30 with no explanation. […] Don't stay here to save money, it's not worth it. Read more
"very good value and excellent location"
as above, everything was as expected. In the rooms you had a fridge, hairdryer, kettle, iron and ironing board, and in the morning, you could help yourself to breakfast, couldnt complain about value and location, the free wifi was also very handy.

Read more

"Days Inn - Toronto East Beaches - Great service!!"
Spent eight nights and the service was great! Very friendly reception crew and the housekeepers. It takes approximately 20 minutes by tram to the donwtown. Beaches within short walk and the Irish pub next to the hotel gives 10 CAD discount when showing the room key before ordering.
