Stayed here for 2 nights at $49/ nt. Rooms are outdated but clean. Toilet decided to overflow but was dealt with quickly. Very convienent to North Loop, which is where we were doing biz. Spent one night, had a good stay.....hotel staff was very good and helpful. The neighborhood was not good though, saw bunch of homeless guys roaming around and IN THE HOTEL. One guy came up to even ask if there were any women around and if I had some dope!

This is a 2 story motel-style accommodation. The mattresses in our room were very worn out and the carpet smelled strongly of deodorant. I'm not sure the sheets were changed. I had to call the front desk at midnight as another hotel guest was talking on her phone outside her room really loud and woke me up and then I could not go back to sleep. Hotel is not in a very good neighborhood.

The receptionist was great help. Went out of her way to have my room ready early. Rooms were kinds old style but very clean. The pool is small but very clean as well. It was good for the prize.

Outside of MOTEL (no inside rooms) was very run down with shady characters around, but inside the room, it was amazingly clean and pretty quiet during the night. Breakfast was terrible.

Room and bath are fairly basic accomodations. Biggest issue is exterior access. We chose second floor but still had to put up with coversations from people walking by the window early in the morning to get to breakfast. Some other customers had noise issues as well. Breakfast adequate, Two types of Pastries, Two Cereals, Waffle maker, white bread only […] for toast, Bananas and apples, two juices, serving area is small so anyone making toast or a waffle tied up the counterspace. Overall staff is friendly and helpful but not willing to tell other person on a personal call they have someone at the front desk. Provided a TV listing but weather channel on the list not availabale on the TV . Motel right next to an IHOP. GPS got us there but not an easy intersection to negotiate. One way frontage road makes it hard to recover from a missed turn. This happened to both locals who came to meet us. Final answer, good value for rate we paid (less than $65). Read more

The room was not the cleanest - stains on the bedspread and bathroom needed some help. Free breakfast in lobby but you were not allowed to take any food to your room to feed those that were getting ready. Did not feel safe overall.

I couldn't even stay at this place. There were several questionable characters loitering in the parking lot near my room. The electrical outlets didn;t work The exercise room was a joke. I checked out after 10 minutes.

The hotel staff was fabulous. The room itself was clean and very nice looking, just that the carpet was worn, the shower curtain rod was loose and a light or two were old and falling apart. Very close to I-35, just hard to maneuver to becuase of all the interchanges. Has a few fast food restaurants near and an IHOP next door.

Very good. Only problem, NONE of the housekeepers spoke English--very hard to communicate. Front desk people were exceptional in helping me get directions to where I was going when the public computer was being dominated by another guest. They were very friendly and "caring."

The staff was very nice and accomidating. The first room we were given the front door didn't close all the way. We told them and quickly had another room. You can tell the rooms are old and well used, but not so much dirty. For a cheap trip that all you will be doing is sleeping and showering this is a fine option.

We booked a single king, but they gave us two double beds. Internet was very spotty and didn't work most of the time. The room felt pretty clean and the bathroom seemed pretty modern with good water flow, plenty of hot water and a decent sized tub with lots of shelves for soap, shampoo, etc, Granite countertop in the bathroom was a nice touch. Beds […] were fairly comfortable and the A/C unit worked well. Overall, the outside of the hotel, the walkways and stairwells were pretty dirty and could use some serios cleaning, but the interior of the rooms seemed pretty clean. We missed the continental breakfast, so we can't comment on that. Location was near two major roads which made it easily accessible. Overall, if you're looking for a good value at the absolute lowest price, I would recommend this hotel. Read more
