Was very impressed with this hotel. I always try to stay at a Staybridge hotel whenever I travel. The hotel is always clean and the rooms are comfortable. It is the next best thing to being at home.

Room was acceptable, nothing special. Front staff was VERY nice, BUT cleaning did not occur during my stay. Bathroom towels were removed, but were not replaced. Looked like maid started but didn't finish cleaning the room.

On the plus side, the room was clean. On the negative side, walls were paper thin, my room was never cleaned (I was told they had a lot of guests leave that day), and the breakfast buffet was lame. You certainly do get what you pay for, unfortunately.

Noticed at check in that other guests were waiting for their rooms to be cleaned, it was around 4 o'clock and check in time is 3. Also one guest was waiting for quite a long time to have their room opened for them. Staff seemed to be uninterested in helping guests. The lady who checked me in was very friendly and pleasant. My room however, wreaked of urine, the heater did not heat the room effectively and the carpet and decor could use an extreme makeover. It definitely wasn't a 10, but kindness goes along ways with me so I'd rate it an ify 6.

Our stay was great. We were there 3 nights and our only complaint was about the staff person 'overseeing' the breakfast. We choose this hotel partly due to the fact that the nightly rate included breakfast. We only ended up taking advantage of this the first morning because of the rude, overly sarcastic staff person hovering in the area.

I WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE STAY, WE HAD ARRIVED AT NORMAN AROUND 8PM AND HAD BEEN DRIVING SINCE 9 THAT MORNING, WAS HAPPY TO HAVE BOOKED HOTEL AT SUCH A LATE TIME. WHEN WE ARRIVED THE ROOMS NEXT TO US WERE NOT OCCUPIED BUT FILLED UP QUICKLY THAT IS WHEN THE STAY WENT DOWN HILL. THE HOTEL WAS FULL WITH ALOT OF YOUNG ADULTS WHO DIDNT CARE ABOUT […] THE OTHER OCCUPANTS. THERE WERE ABOUT 10 OR MORE MEN SHOUTING, SCREAMING, AND SINGING ALL THRU THE NIGHT. THIS WENT ON UNTIL AROUND 4 AM . NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WERE NOT ABLE TO GET ANY REST ALL NIGHT LONG AND NOTHING WAS DONE BY MGT. EVEN OUT COMPLAINTS WENT UNANSWERED THE NEXT MORNING. I WILL NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN NOR WILL I RECOMMENDED IT TO ANYBODY ELSE. IT IS UPSETTING THAT THIS HAD HAPPENED. If your main consideration is price, this isn't unbearable. But the rooms are musty and the furniture worn, for example, tears in the fabric of the 'comfortable' chair. The pillows are hard as rocks. The maid service was the worst I have ever had in any hotel anywhere. I will not be going back.

Mine was an emotional trip as I was taking my son to OU. We are from California. The location of the hotel was perfect as shopping and food are a few minutes drive. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. The rooms are still well worn as the carpets are stained as well as the bedspreads. Pillows are comfy though.

Nice hotel. Very easy to get to and from. Was within about 8 minutes of University of Oklahoma. Close to I 35 but there was minimal traffic noise. Also close to alot of resturaunt's and downtown Norman. I would stay again.

The only problem with the room was that it was extremely damp. This made our noses run and our clothes were damp in the mornings. Communication between cleaning staff was poor. Someone stopped by, we said we were leaving, they said they just wanted our towels. We left for about 3 1/2 hours. When we got back, the cleaning lady came by. It is OK for a short overnight stay as in just a place to sleep. The TV did not work very well and the breakfast area was not great, but the price was very good.

Right next to I35, commercial neighborhood, no grass. Room was a little cramped and NO soap-no bars or liquid or any other toiletries. For the $, it was clean and the AC was good. I was on crutches and they put me on the ground floor as requested.

This place was horrible. I wouldn't even say we "got what we paid" for. The condition of the room and fixtures were nasty. It was clear that the room had not been cleaned in some time. The bathroom was clean and that was it. The door to the bathroom, if you want to call it a door, was made of plywood and had wholes kicked through it. This hotel room was horrendous!! The only room available was a smoking room. Didn't matter to us as long as it was clean. Well, it obviously had not been clean in quite some time. There was nasty, sticky "stuff" on the lamps as well as the telephone. The bathroom door was a plywood door that had holes in it as well as it not being able to be closed […] all the way. It was disgusting!! Needless to say, we DID NOT stay in the room but maybe for a few hours. I could not take the condition of the room or the other "tenants" in the other rooms. Very creepy and will never ever stay there again. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone else. Read more
