Casey checked us in and was very rude.having two infants with us was a task and Casey made things very difficult on top of that.first, i had a new visa issued card and stated she could not accept it and left no option to get a room..i had to press for a cash option which she rudely said "the atm is over there",after locating the atm with infants crying […] we made our way back to the check in desk.Casey, still abrasive,took our cash and gave us our room keys..tired,i asked where the room was?...again, "over there",after searching with no help we arrived at our destination. My wife just recently gave birth to our twin daughters and i really wanted to take her to a nice hotel where we could spend quality time and she would be treated like a queen but from the time we checked in she felt out of place instead of a paying guest..at 140 a night we could of went to motel 6 for two nights and been treated better..a lilttle friendlier and helpful staff could of made all the difference. The hotel was decent. I've stayed at hostels that had similar quality and paid 1/50th the price. I mentioned the difference in pricing from what I booked online to what they were charging me and receptionist did not even care. I am currently sorting things out to get my money back. "Why they mess up the reservation?"
We came to visit From Las Vegas on Saturday night had pre paid reservation and they gave us a room with no air condition Free.. We visited DisneyLand over Labor Day weekend and stayed at Red Lion. It's about 3/4 to a mile walk to the entrances of both parks and downtown Disney. It's an easy walk and very convenient. We enjoyed our stay there. We had a fireworks view room so we got to see them every night that we weren't actually in the park which was great. The room was clean […] and the beds super comfy. The shower and bathroom were also clean. Everything was updated and new. There was a fridge, microwave, safe and keurig in our room. We bought breakfast stuff (granola bars etc) from target up the street and had breakfast and coffee before leaving the room. Parking was ample and safe. The pool was nice and had towels available. Housekeeping came early which is a plus in my book since we were already at the parks anyway. Staff was friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed Red Lion and would stay there again. "The goods and the bada"
Our stay at the Red Lion was fine. Check in was easy and the rooms were nice, however, we stayed there because we were running the Disneyland Half-Marathon, as were many if the guests, and the checkout time was quite early. "Our stay in Cali"
We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights from a Wednesday to a Tuesday. The overall experience was great. There were only two minor things that if were different could have made it perfect. I called twice throughout the day we landed, once at 9am and once at 1pm to see if we could check into our room early seeing as my fiancé had been really sick from the […] flights and we had nowhere else to go until check in at 3pm. When I initially called they said they had no rooms available but would put me on a list and call me as soon as a room was ready. I thought that was okay seeing as it was still early and even though we weren't able to we were still assisted to hopefully check in early. After our layover and we landed in Cali it was 1pm and I decided to call again because as I stated we had nowhere to go and my fiancé was sick. They once again told me that there were no rooms ready yet and we would have to wait till 3pm. You betcha when I walked in at 2:55pm they let me check in. I was confused though as to how no room could have been cleaned between 9am and 1pm seeing that someone had called several times to check in. Bad customer service on their end. I am understanding of the fact that check out is at 11. But you're telling me you don't clean any rooms till between 11-3pm? Odd. The other small issue was barely an issue. But the mini fridge(which we didn't know was there until digging and found it hiding behind a door underneath the tv) had no button to turn it on and leave it on. There was simply a two hour on button or a button to put the fridge to sleep. So we had to keep pushing the on button every two hours else our food would not stay cold. This is our second time staying at this hotel. The first time was shortly after opening 3 or so years ago. This hotel is priced well for the amenities, clean, and offers everything you would expect in a mid-range hotel. WiFi is free, however parking is a bit high at $14.00 a day. "worst hotel ever"
So they charge you $14 for parking, there is no continental breakfast. You get a few coffees in your room if you want more yiu havw to pay $.75 a piece for them. We had a suite that was supose to have a kitchenette in it and all there was was a sink and microwave. There were no dishes either. There were two small fr I gs but neither one would keep our […] food cold. The beds were like sleeping on rocks. Hotel is good and very close to Disney, within walking distance in fact. Which is why I'm bothered when I asked the front desk they recommended the ART shuttle service and had me pay $16 for my family ($20 cause machine did NOT give change back!) and wait 30 minutes for the shuttle, only to find out we could have walked 3 blocks in 15 minutes!!! "Quick visit - decent hotel"
We were only staying one night for a quick visit to Disney. The hotel was very clean and bright and the front desk staff was very nice. Clean Hotel located at a convenient location. The hotel is very clean, but the AC is outdated. It gets loud at night if you need to have it on. Luckily, when we were there, it is not too hot, so we turn it off before we go to sleep. Make sure to get a room with a view of the fireworks from Disneyland, it is worth every penny. "Better than Expected"
I think this is an awesome place to stay if you are planning on going to Disneyland. It is walking distance to Disneyland and it is right next to a 24 hour IHOP. "Great Location to Disney, but room was not secure"
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, and we chose this hotel for its proximity to Disneyland. The hotel was fine, good size room, microwave, safe, Keurig coffee maker, and swimming pool. We were assigned a room on the bottom floor across from the entrance to the pool. When we retired for the night, we noticed that we could not lock our door (deadbolt) […] because the striker place was loose and the bolt didn't align with the slot. We notified the desk twice over the two days and each time we were assured the door would be fixed, but it never was. Three minutes with a Phillips screwdriver was all that was needed! I did not feel safe in the room and because our concern was "blown off", I would not stay here again. Also, the noise level of the lobby (poor acoustics) is extremely loud. When there was a large party of people there, you would need to shout to be heard with the front desk people. Pool was a good size, but hey, its Disneyland. "One night went well"
Only stayed one night. The staff was very helpful. In particular, the Bellman, made sure we knew about the bus to Disney. He showed us where to buy the bus tickets and how that made sense over walking to Disney. He then showed us where to catch the bus and how often it came by. Check-in was smooth and since we were very early they took care of our luggage […] and explained parking.
