Room was large and had a private patio with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Metro stop was very close. Great location, walking distance to most everything.

The Staff was extremely helpful, all spoke english. The neighborhood was great for restaurants, proximity to sights, 6 blocks from the Eiffel Tower and 2 blocks from rue Cler - a great place for carry out food or brasseries. The hotel is a pleasant one between Les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower, walking distance to each and to the metro. The rue Cler, just west, is a great shopping and foodie street. The staff was helpful and didn't mind either when we tried out our French or when we broke back to English for more complicated interactions. My husband and I stayed three nights in April 2013. The location of the hotel is very convenient to the Eiffel Tower, the military museum, and several other history sites. Located a few streets away from Rue Cler which offers plenty of shopping, places to eat, etc., the hotel was located in a vibrant, interesting neighborhood. Our room was clean (I'm very picky about this), very well maintained, and the staff was terrific in answering any questions. The lift was small but what I expect in Europe. The room itself was smaller but still a decent size with a small fridge/mini bar. We had no problems moving around and the window (which would open) offered a lovely view of the street below. This is a great hotel. Very clean, and a very friendly staff. Its walking distance to the eiffel tower and there are lots of restaurants in the area as well as small boutiques for shopping. Only downside was that our bed was really hard, but that didn't affect our stay at all and overall this hotel was a great value!

I had reserved a standard room but had not problem upgrading, upon request, to a room that had an Eiffel Tower view and it was completely worth it. Best part was it was a nice place that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Rooms are clean and modern (and mostly comforable). Overall we thought the Les Jardins was pretty pricey, but probably typical of many Paris hotels. Shower was particularily weird. Flexible shower head mounted about 12 inches above the tub with no possiblility of fastening it higher. The back of my right thigh is really clean! Did not eat breakfast there. I've stayed in Paris previously, and I wanted my 5day stay to explore this area. This hotel is a gem located on a tiny street off a street full of shops, Rue St. Dominique. The metro stop, Maubourg is a short walk. Nearby is entrance to Rue Cler and I could always see the top of the Eiffel Tower, find pastry shops, grocery store, restaurants, fashion […] displayed in windows and see kids scurrying to school. Great location between the Tour Maubourg Metro stop and Rue Cler, a wonderful view of the Eiffel tour from our room, quiet neighborhood, able to sleep with the windows open during our entire stay...simply delightful! We stayed in the more traditional part of the hotel (the other half is nearly renovated, chic and modern). Our room was cozy as is expected […] in Paris and the shower had a hand-held sprayer only. Overall...the staff was welcoming, very friendly, helpful, room was always tidy when we returned. Special Note: upon our arrival, the A/C wouldn't come on...the next day we learned there was no access to A/C this time of year. Again not a problem as the neighborhood was very peaceful quiet at night. We had originally selected another hotel, but then read the fine print of no individually controlled A/C and opted to stay here instead. Later...we walked by that hotel on a very busy street and were thankful we had chosen Les Jardins!! Excellent staff from reception to breakfast to room cleaning. Everybody was knowledgeable and helpful. Location is good, particularly if you want to visit the Eiffel Tower. Subway is five minutes walk, and in two stops you are in the Champs Elysees. We have no criticism of this hotel and would happily stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised with our room. Even though it was small, as most European hotels are, it was very nice and comfortable for our week's stay. Our only complaint was the bathroom sink wasn't cleaned very well a couple of the days. Nice location close to everything, but the rooms are VERY small, the elevator was out of service for most of our stay on the third floor with an outside stairway. The hotel is located on what I would describe and a dirty alley way with a police station next door. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Nice size room on the 5th floor with decent furnishings. It has a small minibar that we were able to put a few things in. The bedding was nice but the beds need to be replaced. The only reason I scored 3 for room cleanliness was the mini bar was not checked and there was food produce left by the previous guest. The rest of the room cleanliness was perfect. I was very early for check in and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. I only had to wait about 15 minutes before going up to my room. The bed was more firm than what I am used to and that is the only negative thing I can say.

My 18 year old son and I took our first trip to Paris. I was so pleasantly surprised by the amenities, updated decor and overall 'warmth' we experienced at Les Jardins. Our only downside was the location of our room on the lower level; we couldn't even see the sky, and we were just a few feet from the kitchen where they started putting together the […] breakfast service at 6am. The upside was that away from the street, it was very quiet at night, and the clank of porceline and the muffled voices became my morning wake up call. (we never actually partook of the breakfast)We were totally moved-in after just one day, or I might have asked to move. The staff was encouraging of my "francais", and all spoke excellent english. Our room was much more modern in decor than the website photos, and small of course, but we slept well in our little twin beds. Absolutely loved being in the "7th", a lovely neighborhood to come home to at the end of the day! A Starbucks and several pattiseries/boulangeries right around the corner, convenient to grab breakfast on the go on our way to the Metro. We came to Paris as a side trip when we were in London for a work trip. The decided on this hotel due to it's proximity to the attractions we wanted to see, plus we heard the district was very safe. First impression is that this street, and Paris in general, is DIRTY. The inside of the hotel was nice enough, but that ends at the lobby. The hallways […] were small, and the room was dirty. It was actually larger than we expected, having heard some things about Paris hotel rooms. The view of the Eiffel Tower was good, but not great. We had to look sideways out of our window. The BEST part of the location was the short walk (10 minutes, tops) to the Eiffel Tower. Also, we found a TREMENDOUS bakery literally right around the corner and ate breakfast there every morning, as the hotel breakfast was awful. The bed was hard as a rock, and there weren't enough English speaking TV channels. I probably won't stay here again, but I enjoyed my stay overall. Read more
