Double beds were a bit hard. overall room was good. Very quiet first 2 nights. 3rd night much noisier, but I guess management can"t completely control guests. Overall it was a good motel.

Upon arrival, we found soiled sheets. We further found two of the pillows had ugly stains and some kind of slime on them when we removed the pillow cases. The carpet was just nasty with stains that no one should step on. The night manager was apparently more interested in the card game she was playing but eventually brought up cleaner items from another […] room. Her attitude was that she was doing us a favor and that we shouldn't be disturbing her. We went to another Days Inn in Birmingham which was much more professional and we enjoyed our stay there for our second night. Read more

My stay at the Days Inn was nice for what it was I was only there for one night for an event I had to be at. The front desk manager was very friendly after my long drive I got there a few hours early before check in and asked if I can get a room early so I rest for a bit which he accommodated. The building is old, could use a new paint job and the room […] had that closed air "stuffy" smell. The ice machine did not work but they had store bought bagged ice at the front desk that they give you. The room was clean, the shower was hot and the beds were comfortable. At night the parking area was well lit and though we got back from our event late we were still able to park close to where our room was. The free breakfast was very simple some juice, cereal, frozen waffles, coffee and that's it. Just a little something to hold you over and there are fast food restaurants and coffee houses very close to the place if your wanting a big breakfast. You get what you pay for and what they lack in some places they do make up in friendly customer service and at least the room was clean. Its also well located and only 10 minutes to Sylacauga. So if your in the area for a night or two to have a place to sleep it works and I would stay there again if I am in the area overnight. Read more

It is close to Talladega, which was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. Close to restaruants (fast foods). Plus there is a grocery store near the hotel. So for the race weekends, this is a nice place to stay.

I took pictures and plan on contacting Days in as I do not think they would want this place to represent them, I think someone lives in the room we were given. There ashes in the drawer that had been there awhile stuck by spilled liquid of an unidentifiable nature. I reserved a double and it was a full matress. we were stuck no rooms were aailable for […] 150 miles because of the race at Talladega. YUK is all I could say. We stayed in this hotel as it is about 50 mins from Birmingham city. There are plenty of local places to eat around the hotel, the pool area is clean and sheltered from the main road. The room was a little bit smelly but it was that old moldy smell you get.
