Holiday Inn Lugano Centre - Paradiso

Though described as a four star hotel, it is more like a three star hotel. The rooms were modern, but with little storage room. THe breakfast was overpriced. Internet was not working.

Everything about this hotel was great. The desk staff was helpful. The location was a short walk from the lake and some nice restaurants as well as the St. Salvatore funicular. This was our first time to Lugano. Love the city but the Holiday is too far away from the city center and everything there is to do. This was not a 4 star hotel. This was disappointing hotel, while in a ideal location, the rooms were dark brown walls, really depressing. To use wi-fi it was 22 euros for 24hrs, there was free internet in the small hot booth, Waling distance to the Lake, nice restaurants around for a inexpensive breakfasts etc. Hotel just to sleep in.

An easy bus ride (Nbr 2) from the railway station, and not far from the lake, I found the location to be fine on the south side of the bay, but a healthy walk to the historic centre. The hotel is being refurbished in August 2011 and it does need it - it is clean but tired. Staff were nice and very helpful, and the basement pool and sauna were excellent. […] As this hotel was one third of the price of the conference hotel, it was excellent value. You need to be careful eating out in Lugano as it is easy to run up a £70 bill each, in the restaurants, with wine often at £30/bottle. Nell'hotel si stanno svolgendo lavori di ristrutturazione senza averlo segnalato anticipatamente. La colazione è decisamente sotto la media rispetto alla categoria dell'hotel. Le camere sono molto piccole e gli arredi molto economici. Buono il materasso, scarsi i cuscini. Non c'era wifi ai piani.

Gut, praktisch und gesund, da ich auch von minimalen Fitnessangebot profitieren konnte. Swimmingpool ist etwas klein, doch fuer Basis deckt den Basisbefdarf. Rezeption kannte leider die genauen Informationen zum GEbrauch der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel nicht. DIese stellten sich aber als gut heraus und in direkter Nähe zum Hotel.

Nel complesso sono soddisfatto dell'albergo forse anche per le tante pessime recensioni che ho letto, ho trovato invece un hotel discreto, molto pulito, una camera molto grande e ben funzionale.Ovviamente non è un 4 stelle ma sicuramente paragonabile ad un buon 3 stelle.Personale molto cordiale e disponibile.

Un hôtel moyen beaucoup trop chère pour la qualité de la chambre.La salle de bain n'était pas propre (poils et cheveux)et sèche cheveux defectueux.Mini bar avec des prix desmesurés .Reveillé deux fois par les femmes de chambres a 8h du matin (ouverture de porte sans préavis). Voilà aussi non Lugano est un très belle ville.

Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht! Ringhörig, sehr alt, Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage kostet CHF 20.-- pro Nacht. Ich würde dort nicht mehr übernachten ausser das Hotel würde sich schnell verbessern.

Für mich geschäftlich wichtig: in LUGANO, Hotel an sehr zentraler Lage. Kein Stau für auf Autobahnen und Besuche in Lugano. Das Birchermüsli und die Aprikosen beim Morgenessen sind mächtig verbesserungsfähig. Empfehlung: Birchermüsli à la MIGROS oder COOP fertig verpackt anbieten. Hotelzimmer ruhig, bequemes Bett etc. etc. Personal sehr freundlich. TV […] Anlage gewöhnungsbedürftig, etwas kompliziert. Zimmer Bar Inhalt etwas überteuert ! Das Hotel war sauber, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und die Zimmer waren angenehm gross. Das Familienzimmer lag im 4. Stock, darunter hätten wir nicht einchecken wollen, da man dann nur gerade auf die Strasse oder das nebenliegende Haus gesehen hätte. Das Familienzimmer sind eigentlich zwei Doppelzimmer mit einem kleinen Gang und einer Trenntüre zum […] grossen Hotelgang. Ok hotel with nice view and a rooftop pool. We arrived at check-in time but had to wait for 3 hours for the room to be cleaned after previous guests, no fun with lots of bags and 30 degrees celcius. Other than that the hotel was nice and the staff was friendly.

A szálloda ajánlata nem tükrözi ami a valóság. például: a háztetőn lévő uszómedencében nincs víz. A szálloda nagyon piszkos, a szőnyegek katasztrofálisak, az ajtók nem záródnak, a szállodai szoba teljesen elavult. Szerintem a három csillagot sem üti meg.

L'Hôtel n'a pas du tout une qualité-prix d'un 4 étoiles. Le bâtiment est en mauvais état, les murs sont craquelés et nous avons même trouvé une déjection de chien dans les escaliers. La piscine censée se situer au dernièr étage était vide.
