room was boarderline clean, pillows were awful room needs remodeling, carpet awful arrangement unwieldly. tv cabinet had to be moved in order to view breakfast continental or not, no toast, tables to sit at , etc

Bed was terrible , the only updated feature was the lock on the door, however the security chain was only partially on. Poor value foot theoney even for mammoth lake. Also, no coffee until 7.

We chose this motel on the price and know it would not be a great place. We were still surprised by how small the room was - the smallest ever we stayed in across US. The queen bed was rather hard and everything else were squeezed into this incredible small space. The linens were obviously not cleaned good enough and we found hairs here and there. The […] parking was difficult to find and the fact that we were assigned a room on the back second floor certainly did not help - we had hard time unloading our stuff. The staff was polite. The environment was quiet. The breakfast was almost nothing to write about. Overall it is not a very good value and we cannot recommend it unless you have no other place to stay. Read more

Bed and chairs were stained. After we asked for new bed sheets 2 ladies came after 5 minutes to put new ones on - but these were also stained. No heating in the bathroom. For a motel in the mountains with snow even in April a super thin bed blanket is not enough!. Breakfast was even for America very poor. Cereals and Mini-Muffins :-(

My husband and I were extremely disatified with our stay. Hotel was very outdated and run down. Room looked thrown together and over crowded. The table was directly in front of the air conditioning unit, and there was no room to pull the chair out from under the table. The sink was located in the room with the bed. The shower head was so low even I […] had to bend down to get under it! (I am all of 5 foot 3 inches tall.) The floor seemed to be lower under the shower head; while the water pooled at my feet. Upon arrival the manager was standing directly in front of the door smoking; apparnetly to busy to help me. I stood there until his wife finished her vacuming so she could wait on me. I realize this is a 1 star hotel, but a room should be clean regardless. There were crumbs all around the edge of the carpet and inbetween the bed and nightstand. And dirt like potting soil all over one of the shelves. One of the side tables was even sticky! Would never stay here again.

I wasn't looking to spend a great deal of cash. And this place fit my budget. After all you go an a trip to enjoy yourself and not be stuck in the hotel room all day. I've stayed here 2 times already. And both times is been a great stay. Rooms are super spacious.

Not a bad place. The room was clean and bright, but the bedding was old and stained and the Pillows were flat. The temperature was hard to control and the heater blower ran all the time. Their breakfast was poorly done and their was no place to set.

The hotel is old. The heater is very noisy, but it works and does provide heat when needed. The walkways, wood, are old and worn. The plus is, bed was comfortable, micro wave oven and fridge, and many pegs to hang ski clothes and skis on. Also a table and 2 chairs. Still cannot understand why Mammoth Lakes gets Reno local stations. Reno is in Nevada […] and generally has nothing to do with the Los Angeles ares, where most visitors come from. All that needs to be done is for Direct or Dish to push a button and Mammoth would get local L.A. stations. Really, it's called satellite for a reason. It's very typical of a lot of Mammoth Lakes. Over half of the hotels and older buildings should be buldozed down and rebuilt to 'catch' up to modern times. That said, it was affordable which is hard to find at any major ski resort. The family that runs this hotel are very friendly and helpful, people people. Read more

This was a quick trip for spring skiing. I wanted to find an inexpensive place to stay within walking distance of the Village (shops, restaurants and the gondola to Canyon Lodge). Not a bad place for the price. The two queen room was rather large. Could have slept 8 in that room. No very clean, heater took quite a while to heat the room. Was a great place for people going on a boarding trip not needing a high quality place.

Room was very spacious. Accommodations were better than expected for the price. The tub had a slow drain, so I showered in a puddle of water. The cable service was very intermittent, but I think the snow storm had some effect on that. I would definitely stay here again.

I love staying here for the large 2 queen bed room with pullout couch, desks, microwave and fridge. Way better than Motel 6 down the street but still affordable. There is also DirectTV and free wifi. The staff is a pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful with requests. Will stay here again!

Great for the price. It was spacious and clean. We usually stay at Motel6 for a good deal, but found this to be better for the price. We had a table and room for our luggage. Staff was very friendly. Parking isn't great, but not terrible. It's close to the village too!

We walked in to a room that was freezing cold! The room did not heat up for a couple of hours. Everything we touched was cold! The room smelt like paint when we walked in. We would not recommend this hotel.

This facility was very rundown. Bathtub was chipped, carpet was old and dirty, TV did not work, could hear everything in nearby rooms. The management seemed to be trying to paint and fix up the place. They did let me watch the World Series in another room.

The exterior, parking lot and walkways of the Econolodge look worse than the rooms themselves. We got lucky and had a very large, bright room, but I understand that some of them are much smaller and very dark.
