The staff was courtious and helpful. The room setup was good whether you was on vacation or business with a desk and plenty of room. The continental was breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food. We very much enjoyed our stay and plan on staying there again.

This hotel was a very good stay for the price. Our kids loved playing in the pool, the room was spacious and beds were comfy, and breakfast was much better than some of those other places that offer "continental" breakfast--this one had bacon and eggs! Although there were a lot of kids staying there (some kind of high school sports group), we were nervous […] that it would be a loud night. We heard very little, and the layout of the hotel allowed for nice flow of guests down the various halls in the morning when everyone was leaving around the same time. Highly recommend! Read more

This is a cute, farm-themed hotel (Living History Farm is right behind it). Customer service was very good, and our room was nice and clean. It was nice to have some furniture to sit one besides the bed. There were only two downsides. The two-story hotel doesn't have an elevator for guests that we could find, so ask for first floor if that is a problem […] for you. Also, our mattress was very uncomfortable. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, our room was not very clean. We had a crew of six, so had to use the fold-out mattress. It had a huge brown stain on it and my kids refused to sleep on it. The six of us had to sleep on 2 double beds-not comfortable! The hall we were located in smelled like a bad case of body odor. The morning breakfast was okay. […] The hotel did not have an elevator, so it made if difficult to get our heavy suitcases up the stairs. I would not stay here again. Read more

Very nice hotel. Rooms were spacious, bed slept wonderfully and the breakfast had a variety of options including hot foods. We enjoyed the large pool and hot tub areas. We will stay again.

The motel was very nice. Lots of sitting areas for relaxing in all areas of the lobby and landings Too bad it was WAY TOO COLD to be anywhere but in the room with the heat cranked or in the pool area. The pool area was incredible. Huge! The pool was huge, the hot tub was huge, the sitting area with tables, chairs, and chaises was huge. Wish we had had […] one of the poolside rooms. Question: why no microwave in the rooms? And in the common breakfast area, no plates to use with that microwave after breakfast. The breakfast was very nice, but again WAY TOO COLD!! With the poolside rooms, great place for, say, a family reunion. Walking distance to The Machine Shed -Um! and across the street from Starbucks. Read more

We visited the Living History Farms during this stay and the kids really enjoyed learning about the way people lived in the past. The Machine Shed resteraunt next door is always fun, too.

My family of 5 (3 children) stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room was large and offered enough beds (2 full and 1 twin pullout) that we didn't have the argument of who was going to sleep on the floor. The pool area was wonderful - plenty of sitting area where you don't get wet and it was great being able to look out the room window over the […] pool while they were playing. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy for breakfast, my kids the waffles, and I go for the breads and fruits. The staff was very friendly and the rooms was clean. The resteraunt next door, The Machine Shed, was great. The kids even took a free tractor/wagon ride. The only thing that could use improvement at this hotel was the outdated bathrooms - old wallpaper and the tubs/showers are really compact. Read more
