This is in theory an "airport hotel" but they provide no shuttle to /from the airport. So it costs 8 GBP (about 13USD) each way to and from the terminals. Staff was rude and had a "don't care attitude" Worst of all they forgot my wake up call and I nearly missed my flight!

Had a great time at this hotel. The service was excellent, as was the gym and pool. No complaints about the room other than it was a bit tired for Marriott standards. Catering was excellent. There is a £8 per night car parking charge for residents which I was not expecting. I have no problem recommending this hotel.

As expected from the Marriott, high standards, amazing bed and love the bar and food and executive lounge. Used it for airport parking for a few nights and they even provided a free drop off service. Only downside, the take away breakfast (as we had to leave at 5am) is not recommended. Other than that, highly recommended.

To be fair the hotle is really nice and the reception very helpful . I would have rated this hotel very good BUT I had 2 hick ups i have to report. First the rip off of the Taxi at the airport. There is no shutles or buses so you need to take a taxi. I would really advise to call the hotel and ask them to send you a taxi with a proper fare (£6 for 5mn). […] Second, my room was really clean and bed confortable but what a surprise when i open the toilets! Our stay got off to a terrible start. We ordered a cot for our 3 month old baby but when we arrived at our room it was not there and we had to chase it up. When we finally got the cot it was dirty and had to be replaced. We arrived late so decided to eat in the hotel, first we were refused entry to the main restaurant as we had children so we went to […] the grill bar. Once seated we had to prompt the staff for a menu after waiting for 10 mins, then another 10 mins before we got a drink. Everything was lovely except for when we went to get our breakfast for the 2 nights and they informed us that it was not in the price, but, it clearly was so we went out and got breakfast, I have emailed to see if we could get a refund on the missing breakfasts......But other than that I would definately go back there.....

Rather large conference centred hotel close to the airport. Generally was efficient and pleasant. The car park is not quite big enough and it was tricky to find a space, though in the end I managed.

I will not book this hotel again. There is no shuttle from airport. Airport taxi adds an additional several pounds to the total cost of your stay. Tiny rooms but comfortable bed. Exercise equipment was plentiful and good quality, but Pool had extremely high concentration of Chlorine. Despite its name, this is not an "airport" hotel. It is located a ten pound cab ride from the airport and rail station. For the return to the airport next morning they offered to call their "favored" cab company and assured us it would take credit cards. The "cab" arrived fifteen minutes late, and was in fact a small bus labeled as a hotel shuttle. […] When we got to the airport the driver did not take credit cards. The hotel itself had an elevator so small that two people and four bags barely fit, this was connected to the second floor by a hall too narrow to pull two suitcases side by side, and followed by the longest set of corridors I have ever experienced in any sort of hotel. There was not even a bottle of water in the room. After making the very long trek back to the lobby to buy water, it cost an outrageous 4 1/2 pounds at the hotel bar. Having 2 children aged 4 and 1 we reserved a family room. However i was informed upon check-in that the family rooms are on the LG floor and right at the back of the hotel with no lift. This was very frustrating and made life difficult with the pushchair and our luggage. There is no mention of the location of the family rooms when booking.

It is an airport hotel so not what I'd choose for a romantic weekend away but ideal if you have an early departure or late arrival at Manchester airport. There's a leisure club with pool, jacuzzi and steam room. This is an ideal way to make the holiday last a bit longer - after a late night arrival get up a bit late and have a swim vefore setting off home. You need to get a taxi to the airport but the hotel gave us the number of a taxi co and a voucher so the cost of this was included in our room rate - just make it clear you have a prepaid voucher when you book the taxi as otherwise you have to pay again! Hotel was all we hoped for with a good pool to enjoy and very comfortable beds. We would stay here again. Watch out for the room service prices as they are before VAT and delivery charge so the actual cost is far more than advertised. This was the only negative point to our stay and would not put us off going again.

Lovely stay. Nice welcome by reception. The room was a bit tricky to find, i did get lost once, lol, but there was a lovely gentleman on hand to direct me. The room was fab. The room, as usual, was very clean and tidy - spacious too. The Bad: We we led to believe that we were booking an executive room We usually book an executive room as we like to relax in the executive lounge after dinner. It turns out that the executive lounge is no longer available on weekends. The AC in the room started dripping water onto the carpet just in front of the bathroom in the middle of the night. Although the service for dinner was excellent, it was very expensive for bar food (and that's saying a lot in the UK), and the cannelloni was so runny it could be eaten with a straw. The fish fingers for our daughter's meal were very bland. My wife ordered a latte at the coffee shop in the bar area and paid 3.50GBP for it! If we stay here in the future, we will certainly eat elsewhere. In conclusion, we have always stayed here de facto in the past. We will shop around for our next trip. They upgraded our standard room to an executive family suite. Really nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. Its really close to all the places in manchester like trafford centre and city centre.
