This place is stocked with leftover furniture and is staffed by incompetents. Hotels.com charged me for a room and the hotel did as well - TWICE. It's been two weeks and it's still not resolved.

Nice people, however, room was very tiny, no windows, no tv remote - and we were not the only room with this problem - closet door was off hinges, toilet holders broke in hands, no refrigerator even though we were told there was one, no breakfast as stated, and the elevators in all honesty sounded like they were going to break down any second.

The hotel advertises a cafe (which it has, and breakfast. The cafe is not open for breakfast. The most they could muster for breakfast were some Otis Spunkmeyer muffins and danish... carb city. No milk, no juice, just a real apparent attempt to scrimp pennies and save money at every junction. Nothing hot, no fresh fruit was present, no yogurt, etc.

"Avoid this place"

The room was hot and stuff even during winter, the bedsheets had stains and what looked like cigarette burns in a non-smoking room. The ammenities were okay; the exercise room is a joke and the door looked like it was going to fall off the hinge.

Hotel staff indicated at the time of check -in that the breakfast time is 7 am to 9 am, however, there was no brakfast available until 8 am. Room was not cleaned properly.

friendly bar downstairs with Happy Hour; half -priced drinks and nice variety of free hors d'ouvres. New restaurant that looked very appealing Continental breakfast available (a surprise to us). Only complaint was Musak in the lobby that played through the first night of our 2 night stay. Would highly recommend the Clarion in Wilmington

"Outstanding Hotel"

This hotel was an excellent value for the money! The entire staff was phenomenal and very accommodating to me. I was unfamiliar with the area and they were very helpful in getting me where I needed to go. Every staff member was attentive, courteous and happy. The hotel itself is very quaint and spacious. I loved the room. Very European. I had fun and would recommend it to anyone.
