outstanding service..we stayed overnight for a concert at the staple center. they provide a a comfortable, free service to and from the staple center. i am going back to this hotel!

great location, rather nice and clean but dissapointed at the service. I had requested a refrigerator, they said they would bring it, they never did.

Very pleased with my stay at this hotel. My family of 4 stayed overnight. As soon as we arrived my kids commented how they felt were were staying at a luxury hotel. The entrance and reception area make a great first impression with fresh flowers displayed. The staff were top notch. Check in was effortless as was check out. The concierge was very professional and helpful as we needed some recommendations for dinner and directions. The only negative thing I would say was there was a 10-15 min delay with getting our car via the valet. The valets were all working hard, it just seemed like a large number of guests were checking out all at the same time. The hotel does add a $30/day parking fee which seems to be the norm in LA. Overall a very good hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown LA. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent.

This was part of my gift to my fiancee as we were going to enjoy "DISCO FRIDAY" at the nearby Music Center. It was great being able to walk there and back and just crash. And the Omni was lovely. We plan to return just to take it all in.

Loved the hotel and the personnel. The internet did not work in the room without a box from the front desk. Also the charge is an additional $30/day for parking, which may be normal for L.A. but certainly surprised me. You need to factor that in when you are doing comparison pricing.

We went to animeExpo and stayed at the Omni. Very clean and very comfy ^ _ ^ the lounge bar had really good drinks and the back ground music (a piano player) set the mood just right. Will return for sure.

The Omni was located a couple of blocks away from the DRE building in Los Angeles (I was in town for my broker exam). Not to mention there is a whole lot of culture in the immediate area. The Walt Disney Concert Hall and MOMA are around the corner and across the street. Also, I would recommend taking a ride on Angels Flight which is less than half a block away. The service was ok. When we checked-in we were given a smoking room, when my reservation was for a non-smoking room. While it was a minor inconvenience, it was an inconvenience nonetheless. In addition to initially being given a smoking room, when we opened the door of the smoking room we were unpleasantly surprised by a member of the housekeeping staff, in our bathroom. Quote unquote, cleaning it. But we were given a different room after about twenty minutes. Other than that our stay was generally pleasant.

My stay at this hotel was great. The staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful. It was very convenient to the event I was attending, and the neighborhood felt safe as I walked around. Only downside: not much in the way of fast food nearby (that I could find).

Excellent hotel in terms of business travel for downtown locations. The room was clean and the bed confortable. I liked that they do not use bed covers, but linen duvets which presumably are replaced and laundered like regular sheets. The staff is always very helpful and the check-out procedure is very easy. The room service could have been better as it was standard "food service" fare. It was fast and generous and not too outragously priced.

My wife and I had our wedding reception there. It was our first time back since our wedding. Stayed there for Valentine's Day. Had a great romantic dinner at a nearby resturant. 5 Star all the way.

This was a great hotel with great beds and great views. We only stayed one night but we would have been glad to spend more time there. The bed was VERY cozy and the view of the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Contemorary Art Museum was very cool. The only thing I would have changed about the room was to have the bathroom vanity separated from the shower area so two people could be getting ready in the morning instaed of just one. LOVED IT!

The bellmen watched as we struggled with our luggage when checking in & the registration staff watched as we struggled to get the luggage on the elevator after checkin. Never was help offered! While the room was quite comfy the carpet was very dirty! Room service food ordinary at best & almost inedible at worst.

Parlor room has no bed, just a foldaway sofa which IMO is a sofa more than it is a bed... Other than that - hotel very nice, staff very courteous and helpful.

The entire staff at the Omni was fabulous! They were very helpful, and especially gracious. The rooms were in good condition and were very clean, and it was in a good downtown location, with easy access to the freeway. Overall, a wonderful experience!

This is my 8th stay at the hotel and each time it's better than the last. The rooms are quite comfortable and the location is perfect for any one shopping at the California Mart, Jewelry district or attending a conference.

We had a running toilet all night and the room was kind of small. My biggest complaint was the noise factor. I could hear the toilet in the next room when it flushed and the noise level was terrible. You could hear people talking right through the walls. It was pretty bad. For the money you ought not be able to hear noises in the other rooms.

The only thing I feel I can complain about was the size of the room. I feel that for the price we paid, the only thing that was bad was the actual size of the room. I did get a standard room (because that was all that was left) but I figured that their "standard" should be above average from lower grade hotels. Other than that, great service, very clean, neat and friendly staff! Oh yeah, no self parking... you have to pay valet, and that's about $30 a day (Ouch!) Good thing we were only there one night!

I was not expecting much, in fact, we planned to just get a good price and stay very little time in the room, but it was easy to access, friendly, clean, easy to check into, easy to check out of. They included milk and cookies for my kids and turned on the music when they turned down the beds. All the employees were very gracious and the whole stay went smoothly. Great down comforters, too!

Great location-downtown but slightly off the beaten track so there is quiet and privacy. Located right next to MOCA and a nice mall with beautiful fountain. Negative: the downtown area shuts down at night and on week-ends-it seems a bit deserted-but that is no fault of the Omni.

the omni hotel was great...friendly staff...very helpful...my ONLY complaint is that the bed sheets were a bit too 'starched', the bed was comfy but having the sheets feel like cardboard made for an uncomfortable sleep...other than that i would definitley stay here again...

The hotel is in perfect condition, service is great to good, breakfast buffet is a real treat. The only downside would be its location: the hotel is centrally located downton Los Angeles, in the middle of the financial district (read not much to do in the evenings). It is easy to go anywhere, but be ready to either drive or take a cab. Perfect hotel for business traveler, great hotel for visitors but visitors would be better off to take an hotel in one of the beach villages (Santa Monica, Redondo Beach, etc).
