We were allowed to check in an hour early-a plus for us. Room very clean, bed and pillows quite comfortable. With two queen beds the room felt cramped. Bathroom adequate with great water pressure. Good/simple breakfast variety, for those who need protein - prepackaged boiled eggs available, oranges were great. One concern lobby bathroom had flooding problems, my husband did report. Price more then I wanted to pay, but in todays economy I'm cheap. After researching rooms in the area that would accomadate my families needs it was a good choice for us.

The lady at the front desk could have been a little more friendly. The rest of the stay was great. The hotel and rooms are very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was good, too. Waffles, cereal, pastrys, etc.

To anyone not familiar with Albemarle, you must pay the money and stay at one of the larger hotel chains like the Sleep Inn. After staying at one of the smaller hotels in town and finding it absolutely unsatisfactory, it was such a relief when the woman at Sleep Inn said yes they have rooms available! Our room was very clean and comfortable. There was no one just walking into our rooms with their friends like we had happen at the other hotel. And the staff was so nice. Anything we needed we got. We have since made several trips to Albemarle and each time have stayed at the Sleep Inn and will continue!

The Sleep Inn Albemarle was an excellent value and we would stay again if our travels brought us to that area. From the nice room, to the grand entrance and even Ms. Prisilla's excellent care of the breakfast room ... it was a class act.
