I was really surprised! Best hotel be far! Love how the dining.. fridge.. and sink is in a separate room with the bathroom. &dont forget a microwave! It sure did feel like home away from home.. I didnt know they had a family suite and a suite that has a jacuzzi for 2! Now that I know I will be definitely staying there again! Pricing is peefect too.

I chose this location because it had a nice look, and easy to find in the crazy city. It has a nice courtyard that you could BBQ or just relax. Room was very spacious and clean. A trader joe's market on corner gave you options for eating if you wanted to prepare yourself. Very noisy, we were in a ground floor room, the room above has a timber floor and transmits all the noise of people walking straight through the ceiling of our room. Would only stay in a first floor room if staying again.

Overall, positive. One suggestion that would have made the rooms so much better: a door between the bedroom and the "dining room". My husband and I tend to be on very different sleep schedules. I really enjoyed this Travelodge, from the moment I checked in the experience was great. The front desk staff was excellent!! My room had both a walk in shower and separate bath tub!! I think I received more than my money's worth from this experience. Whenever I plan on staying and visiting the Santa Monica area I plan on staying here!!

Great location -- just off the 10 freeway, a couple of miles to the beach & Trader Joe's a block away. Beds were comfortable, showers had hot water for days, wi-fi was speedy and breakfasts were better than average.

I only needed a one night stay, and this Travelodge made it a very nice one. For no particular reason at all, they upgraded me to a jacuzzi room, with a huge king bed, and I slept like a baby. Great job Travelodge!

My stay was overall not too bad, but there were more cons than pros for sure. First of all, my fiance was supposed to come later to meet me at the motel and I find out later that he is not allowed to park there due to limited spaces. He came at 9 pm that night and knowing that there aren't as many check-ins at that time, I thought that management would […] let him have a permit anyway. There were many open spaces as well at this time and we planned to stay less than 12 hours. He was told to park at trader joe's which is a few blocks away, then walk back to the hotel. Secondly, there were ants all over the bathroom counter. Also, the room that I stayed in was in the corner where the cleaning ladies were talking so loudly. Walls are so thin that there was never a moment of silence. The room next to me was also having a get together and I could hear their every word. Besides that, it is in a safe area. It is an older facility that has been remodeled. My room was very comfortable,with a wonderful bed, kitchenette and bathroom. All of the fixtures very extremely clean. The location is a couple of blocks from the I10 freeway and the 405, so it's a good location if you are visiting west LA or the beach. I liked it and recommend it.

Room was clean. Good local access to attractions. Construction is cheap, and could hear the person in the room above us. Hall in the main building had the rear door open much of the time and was like a meat locker, to say nothing of security issues. Breakfast is adequate.

This is a super-clean, but simple hotel. Sure, the pillows were foam, but there was a variety of sizes to choose from. The beds were comfortable, and the bedding spotless. The bathroom in our room had the toilet/shower inside and the sink in the bedroom area. Both were scrubbed clean. I really liked that it was "o.k." to bring breakfast up to my sleeping teens on a tray. Great touch! The personnel at this hotel were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially Ian and Todd. Yet the hotel was fine, especially for the price. I had no problems during the stay, and would stay there again, particularly if I, rather than my employer, were paying for it.

The room was a bit small. The bed was very hard didn't move when you got on it. Window mounted AC unit was very noisy. The TV was a nice, new HD tv and had more channels than I do at home. The staff does work hard to keep up the place and it was clean for a property that is a little older. The location isn't bad and getting there is not difficult.

The Customer Service was 5 stars they let me check in 4 hrs before Check in time. Nicest hotel near the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium for an excellent price. Just wish the Parking was a little wider its too cramped.

I didn't know the Santa Monica area at all and was nervous about finding a hotel in a good area. The travelodge exceeded my expectations. Very nice room with continental breakfast. Cute courtyard, easy parking & friendly staff. The location was perfect because it was only a 5 minute drive to the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

It's not 'on the beach' in Santa Monica, but for an affordable price it puts you close. This was a well run and clean hotel. For the price I don't think you are going to beat the location. Beach is about 20 blocks away - but you can take a bus on pico or drive down fairly easily and use those bucks you saved on a nice dinner.
