      The rates were very reasonable. The location was perfect for sightseeing in Springfield, a 15 minute drive and New Salem Historic site, a 3 minute drive. The lounge had excellent food, especially the pizza, at excellent prices. The lodge was cozy, comfortable and quiet.

    This is our second year staying in the hotel for the Girl Scout rally and the girls loved it. The lady that checked us in(sorry forgot her name) was very nice and helped us with directions to a restaurant that all the girls would like.

    Motel was clean and comfortable. The door between the room and hallway allowed quite a bit of noise to enter the room, but with the fan running, it was not an issue. Breakfast is nice. I wish they had coffee available in the lobby prior to 6am breakfast, but they do not. Overall, very pleased with this motel and would certainly stay again.

    From the moment we checked in until we checked out, our experience at this particular Ramada was wonderful. The staff was friendly and efficient, the room was spotless, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and our continental breakfast was hot and satisfying. My husband and I will definitely stay here again.

    This hotel is located very convenient off the interstate, with very easy access and some decent surrounding restaurants. The beds were a little firmer than I care for but that's a personal preference. We still slept great and continue on our journey in the morning.     Nice enough. Security needs improvement: lacking card-swipe requirement to enter from parking lot. Light-bulb burned out near east parking lot door. Mattress was sorta bouncy. Friendly staff.

Room was clean, shower looked brand new (that is a plus for me) and the location was a straight shot (approx. 2 miles) to the State Fair Grounds (where we had our event).     My husband and I stayed here just one night . The Good: Room toiletries were high quality; room was clean and well-furnished; bedding was adequate; the hot breakfast buffet had a large selection. The Bad: One of the employees at breakfast walked around complaining about her job and pestering us while we were eating breakfast; I didn't find the bed as […] comfortable as other people who posted reviews seemed to think it was (too hard for me.) The Ugly: We were in Room 101 and I think they gave the room above us to a herd of elephants!     Nice room... Quiet location, just needs a little management intervention when other guests let their kids run up and down the hall all night.... Management addressed the issue after a call to the front desk , bit they should have been on it well before i had to call

    I needed a roll-in shower. front desk staff told me they had two accessible rooms but could not tell me which one had a roll-in shower, so I would have to tell them. (how ridiculous). But food service staff in breakfast area was wonderful. Just wonderful.

    The room was clean and the staff friendly. A continental breakfast was advertised but it was actually much more - biscuits, gravy, waffles, fruit, etc. The only negative was sound easily traveled between rooms. The location is less than three miles from the fair grounds and within five miles of many Lincoln attractions.

    My wife and I came down from Pekin to spend the day at the State Fair, and for the Brantley Gilbert concert that evening. Very handy location from the fairgrounds, and a very clean hotel. Great breakfast, and friendly staff.

    This hotel is easy to find, but aside from that, very disappointing. First and foremost, and of course beyond the hotel's control, it is located across from another hotel that has a ballroom or some community space. The night we arrived there was a wedding wrapping up. There were drunk groomsmen having a fistfight, motorcycle races and all manner of […] stupidity being displayed. The lighting in the parking lot is very dim, and we soon found out that the outside doors do not lock! So much for security. After signing a waiver saying we would NOT smoke in the room, when we got to the room it stank of smoke. The room was dirty (thick dust on fake plants) and the surfaces and design were quite dated. The blankets were so worn they felt like sandpaper. I would NEVER give quests in my home such poor linens! At checkout, I highlighted our disappointments (smell, linens, security) and the clerk said that he would have a manager call me. No one called. There are plenty of hotels in the area in the same price range. I would choose something different. Read more

    The rom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The lobby was a little too cool and the noise level was high on our floor. Breakfast was very nice. We will stay there again.

    Every once in a while, this hotel is possible for a substantial discount. At the discounted price, it's a great deal. Clean throughout. Not located to downtown, but free parking and wifi was good. Flat Panel tv with plenty of channels. Ramada does not have that great a reputation these days, but this one is the best I have seen yet
