The Hyatt Harborside Hotel possesses one of the best locations in the world. It is close to the airport, and has a shuttle bus to take you there, but has no noise from the planes at all. If you want to go downtown or to take a trip on the water, you can hop into a water taxi situated right outside the hotel. The water taxi costs 10$ each way and the only downside is that they finish comparatively early at night. The water taxi ride is around 10 minutes and then you can walk around the harbour, watch the boats, take a whale watching trip, visit a restaurant or bar, visit the shops....plenty to see and do. The hotel itself has a restaurant and a bar, and if you are on the right side of it, good views over the bay too. There is also a pool and a gym.

This is an efficient tower-block four star hotel right on Boston Harbor. The rooms are triple-glazed, air conditioned, quiet and spacious and have all the facilities you would expect (but no fridge). If you pay extra, that view is absolutely splendid. The staff are helpful, especially on the door. But the service in the restaurant is disappointingy slow. The water taxi connections to Boston are brilliant, but £5 per person. The subway is cheap at £1 per person, but a bit of a drag as it involves a couresy bus as well.

Since my wife was 8 months pregnant they decided to give us the room we booked. Not very friendly staff and the bathtub was all cracked possibly dirty and need replacement. Even thought this hotel is in the airport there in no noise from the planes. A++ on soundproofing!

Where can you stay in Boston that is reasonably priced, has an unbeatable view of the Boston skyline, is on the T, boasts a fine restaurant and a nicely appointed room? The Hyatt Harborside. I wouldn't stay more than a night since it doesn't offer a great Boston neighborhood to explore (it's at Logan airport) but it sure is convenient when you have an early flight. Plus since we could return the rental car the night before our flight, we didn't have to hassle with it in the morning and took the 2 minute shuttle to our terminal. Service was wonderful from everyone we met. They have a great little computer in the lobby from which you can print your boarding pass. And again, the view of the Boston skyline--STUNNING!!!! And if you love the sight of airplanes landing and taking off, the other side of the hotel offers that.

Food was expensive - captive audience, due to distance+cost to get into town. Nothing near-by. Parking charge on top of room charge was a surprise - would expect that to be included. The bar seemed pricey - 2-3x what I expected to pay for a couple single Malts. Couple long black hairs in the tub from someone. Service staff were clean, polite, helpful. BUT - it is clean, quiet, and easy to find, and the waterfront location is nice. The elevator view of an airport runway was a surprise, which gave pause. For a fairer price, I'd stay again.

First off I would like to say that this hotel has a great view, clean facilities and polite staff. Now for the rest of our stay, the hotel was difficult to find. That however was probably due to local road construction. You also have to pay a toll each time you want to get out into the city. Was not impressed with the food at the restaurant, especially for the price! The worst thing of all though was all the added charges. I expected more to be included with the price. A Best Western provides more for the money. There was an added charge for parking, internet, and refrigerator. I have stayed in worse places, but there are certainly better choices out there for the money!
