Every person working at the hotel....valet, front desk room service, the person in charge of the airline shuttle... every single person was intelligent, friendly, helpful and generous. There simply is no better view from any hotel anywhere in Boston and with their water taxi, most restaurants are as close as if you were in Boston. The two things about this particular Hyatt that are outstanding include: 1) its staff, 2) the shuttle accommodation. We stayed in Boston for 6 days and 5 nights. The shuttle service is superb. It takes you to the blue line airport subway and from there you can easily go anywhere you want. It also takes you to silver line bus at Terminal E (for example) […] which takes you to South Station in Boston from where you can go anywhere you want (either subway or bus). You really do not need a car at all. The staff is outstanding. They literally go out of their ways to please you. The hotel is under renovation. We were very much disappointed with the fact that the indoor pool no longer was there, and the gym was rather a "joke". But we were told things were under construction. In return they let us use the internet for free, The room was comfortable with a spectacular view of the Boston Harbor.The T.V was broken though they said they were upgrading all their TVs. There is a young gentleman by the name of "Ryan" who works in the concierge at this hotel. He is simply put "superb". In all our staying all over the world, we have rarely seen anyone so caring and so passionate about helping guests who are staying at the hotel as Ryan demonstrated doing (not just for us but to all those who asked his assistance for example in telling them where to see, how to get around Boston, etc.). Absolutely LOVED the Hyatt Harborside. My boyfriend and I booked a room here during this past month (December), and were very happy with our stay. The hotel is easy to find if using a GPS, and there is also a sign pointing to where the hotel is. When we first arrived, the young man working the front desk was very friendly and accomodating. Our king […] room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view was AMAZING....absolutely gorgeous! The room service was a bit too expensive, but there are restaurants in the area that will deliver food to you. We didn't eat at the restaurant in the hotel, but it looked beautiful and had full views of the water. The parking fee for one night is around $34, but if you have AAA you only have to pay $17. I'd say that's not bad at all (for Boston at least)! The only minor problems we had was that you could hear people in the hallway very easily, and that once in a blue moon the cable would go in-and-out. However, everything else was wonderful. It was a HUGE, shock and un welcomed surprise to have to pay an additioan $34.00 as a hotel guest for overnight parking. I would think as a paying guest we would have been offered a much lower rate if not free parking.

This hotel is a great place to stay before catching an early flight in the morning. It's not only convenient, with shuttles from car rental drop off and to the airport, but is a very nice hotel. My overnight flight landed at 7:43 am for a 1PM appt. I was allowed early check in to catch an hour of sleep and clean up. Made for a much better day than anticipated. I've been staying there more frequently over the last couple of years. I'm recognized and recieve excellent service. Highly recommended. Plus, rates are very competitive.

It's an airport hotel. We had stayed with family about an hour away, but spent the night at the hotel given our early flight--we were barely there for 10 hours, so I cannot comment much. But staff were pleasant and friendly and I liked that they put us in a quiet wing when they learned of our early flight. The bed and sheets were great, the shower was […] nothing to write home about. The shuttle service is continuous, 24-hours. That was great--I once had to leave 45 minutes earlier to take advantage of the shuttle, which makes a big difference when you wish you were sleeping. The only unpleasant thing - and I consider it to be a big one - is that guests have to pay 34 dollars for overnight parking, when the hotel has a huge and largely empty parking lot. I stayed here from 11/17/12 to 11/18/12 (Sat - Sun) for work. The staff was extremely nice, the entire hotel was clean and kept nicely. The food is decent. Concierge is very helpful on suggesting how to get places, etc. The only bad thing I have to say is regarding the room. My daughter and I had tickets to the Cirque du Soile show at Boston University and the shuttle took us to the Blue line and we caught the train to the Agginis Arena with ease. I needed a hotel at Logan Airport, and this one had the best price on Expedia, reasonable for the location. Finding the hotel from the highway was easy; just followed signs for Harborside Drive. It was a bit cumbersome to get parking in/out charged to room via card key. Forced to stay there by the hurricane. They were extremely helpful and courteous in assisting us deal with the circumstances. All aspects of the hotel were excellent particularly given the price. This is a very comfortable hotel that lacks nothing for the business traveller.
