Bay Gardens Hotel - Gros Islet

The facility was excellent and the only complaints I had were about the timeliness of the shuttle to the resort facility, the internet and printing (cumbersome and the desk staff, though they tried to help, didn't know how to print my airline boarding pass), lights were dim in the room and needed higher wattage ror reading.

The staff is outstanding and very helpful in every way. The shuttle buses to the Bay Gardens Resort (the beach) don't run often enough and a long wait for them. Its at least a 15 - 20 minute walk to the Resort from the hotel. Breakfast buffet is great with a nice dining area.

I was thrilled with my recent stay at the Bay Gardens Hotel. I was traveling alone and was a bit skeptical about what I might encounter. I was greeted by a very pleasant receptionist - who informed me of a complementary poolside cocktail party that was scheduled for later that evening. I got help with my bags and was escorted to my room by another very […] kind employee who I would see several times during my stay. The cocktail party included delicious appetizers, rum punch and a flame swallowing dance team that entertained for an hour or more. They were spectacular! I was only scheduled to stay one night, however if I ever get back to St. Lucia I'll plan on Making Bay Gardens my home for my entire stay. The room was OK but coffee maker nor microwave oven worked and they never repaired them. No hot water in the morning. The night we arrived it was close to 11pm and there was NOTHING we could buy to eat. We had been traveling almost all day and this very frustrating. For an overnight trip to Rodney Bay, this hotel was economical but met high standards for comfort, cleanliness, and convenience to the resort beach. Our stop was at the northern end of a 2-day driving tour of St Lucia. We will go back to this hotel when we book our boat tour to the Pitons.

My family stayed at Bay Garden for a Family Reunion. Staff was accommodating. Helped with getting transportation to and from the hotel to other areas around the Island. public TRANSPORTATION IS NEAR BY.There were several young children in our groupand they enjoyed the pool.
